It was a good service and I was pleased. They had one of the lower prices from all the quotes that I got. They were hardworking guys and did a really good job. They had 6 workers out and they got the job done in about 5 hours. They put down sheets and plywood to not tear up the yard. I will definitely have them back again if I need additional work done. The cleanup was very good and we also had them do some additional work in the front and they didn't even charge us for it. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable.

They did a fine job and I would hire them again. They were very accommodating with scheduling. They set everything up and were very professional. They cleaned up very well.

They came out when they said they would. The guy that came out was very good, competent, and professional. The price was too high and I just decided to go with someone else.

I really liked the arborist that I worked with. He came out and checked the tree to see if it needed to be removed and walked the property and even spotted a dangerous fungus on the trees on a neighboring foreclosed property that could potentially damage my trees. He advised how to pursue the issue with the city. He has followed up with me about it and has gone above and beyond. The actual tree removal was very quick and clean. I wasn't happy with the way the stump looked after they suggested we not take it out. They came back and looked at it when I didn't like the way it looked and they helped resolve the issue.

They did a great job. They did everything very quickly. I didn’t have to wait for them to put me into their schedule. The cleanup was excellent. They got the job done in about 3 hours.

It was great and they did a great job. I was extremely happy with the service. The estimate they gave me was very detailed and had 5 different options for the service depending on what I wanted to do. I couldn’t even tell they had been there and they left everything in great shape. They did an excellent job with cleanup.

I was very impressed by the quality of work that they provided. They were very careful to make sure that the limbs they removed did not damage any plants or my fence. The work was done very quickly yet safely and they did a wonderful job of cleaning up any mess. I had used another tree service from Angies list and they were terrible. I am so happy that I decided to use 404-CUT-TREE which was rated an A, they should have been rated A+++.. I will definitly use them again.

After the orginally estimate, we wanted to add some additional small tress to the job, Justin came back out and gave me a revised estimate, and was able to help us clear a lot of the yard out. Two guys came out and cleared out our lot very quickly.

I obtained three quotes for the service. The rep arrived at 8am right on time. He wrote up the estimate and also provided a list of customers over the past three months including their names, address and dollar amount of service provided. I hired them a few days later after I had all three quotes. They were quite busy with all the downed trees due to the excessive rain in Atlanta this year so it was about three weeks before they could do it on the day of the week I requested. They arrived at the exact time they said they would. They did a great job on site, chipped everything except some medium pecan limbs (for me to use to smoke some food on the grill), and left everything clean. The rep was also able to preserve one of the larger limbs by just removing the secondary limbs attached. And he also trimmed a small tree that was overhanging the roof in the front. I would definitely use them again.

When they got here my husband realized that it was the same company that he used at the church to take down a tree. And we've been extremely happy with them in all cases. They are responsive. They are professional. We had two Japanese maples. One of them was very sick and they got it down before the other one caught it. They were just very professional. The arborist came out and diagnosed it for free. We recommend them to everybody.

404 CUT TREES came on the day they said they would. They cut one of the two limbs involved. I called to let them know they had only done half of the project. Four days later, a representative, the original estimator, came. I think my email to him, below, after he had come, explains what happened: You nor anyone else from 404 CUT TREES is allowed on my property again. I should have called the police when you practically assaulted the door for over five minutes yesterday. I had to call my neighbor to find out who was banging on the door repeatedly and with so much force. He told me it was someone from 404 CUT TREES, that you were also in the back of the house, and asked if he should call the police. It was my mistake to tell him not to do so. If you or anyone else from 404 CUT TREES enters our property again, it will be considered criminal trespass. Except for receiving (in the mail, not by hand delivery) an invoice for $175, my relationship with 404 CUT TREES is over. I also do not appreciate your cluttering my phone with repeated calls and voice mails, all of which are, of course, recorded on the phone. I don?t work with contractors who stalk me personally or through my phone. Your and 404 CUT TREES unprofessional behavior is alarming. As I told you yesterday, I will pay one half of the invoice since 404 CUT TREES did exactly one half of the work they were asked to do. To compound that ?oversight,? you then: Did not keep the appointment you set with me for between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM yesterday, instead calling at 3:00 PM and declaring that you had never set an appointment but had just said ?you would drop by when you could on Saturday?; Suggested that old pruning scars on the tree were, in fact, done on August 29th by 404 CUT TREES and saying that the cutting team ?had done a beautiful job of pruning the tree [thoroughly].? Even a child can tell that the other pruning scars on the tree are years old; Suggested that the storm, by raggedly taking down one-half of the high limb that 404 CUT TREES was being paid to remove cleanly at the base of the parent limb, had done work that I should pay 404 CUT TREES for, since that limb was no longer touching the roof, which was the purpose of my hiring 404 CUT TREES, and Suggested that the cutting team, who knew nothing of my desire to keep the canopy of the tree intact, had ?struck a great balance between trimming the tree [the way it should have been trimmed cleanly at the base of the limb] and keeping the tree canopy intact? by leaving one half of the limb (though clearly broken, not cut) on the tree, pretending, again, that 404 CUT TREES had pruned the limb. If you could access my credit score, you would see that it is close to perfect b/c I always pay my bills on time. And I will pay one half of the 404 CUT TREES? estimate since, as said and as clearly visible on the property and in my photos, did one half of the work they were asked to do. If the limb that fell in the storm onto our roof damaged the roof, I will have to hold 404 CUT TREES liable for that damage, since they were hired to remove that limb before the storm that caused that limb to break, fall on the roof, and then fall to the porch. I do not engage in email fights, so any future emails you might care to send will be blocked as spam. Please do as I asked yesterday and have the billing department send me an invoice for one half of the estimate since one half of the work was done. I am trying to be fair by paying for the part of the work that was done. I do not want to have to engage my lawyer about this issue, but I certainly will if need be. I will not pay for work that was not done, and your trying to terrorize me in my own home and through my phone will not persuade me otherwise.

They did a great job taking down the extremely large tree. Left no mess behind and did not damage our yard. We were very pleased with their punctuality and work.

Leaning tree started leaning more after our big storm in June. Stuart came out to give a quote and the price was OK, though the lead time was excessively long before they could commit to do the work. They offered a "move up" price that would get the work done a couple weeks sooner, but the differential was over 50%. I opted not to pay the upcharge and take my chances on the tree not falling over. As it turns out, they had a cancellation and were able to do the work right around the "move up" date, but without the upcharge. And they gave me the Angie's List discount off the lower price, so I can't really complain. As for the work, it was typical 404-CUT-TREE quality. Except for the missing tree, you could barely tell anyone had been there. They don't damage things, and they clean up exceptionally well. The stump grinding was a few days later, and it was fine. This isn't the first time I've used them, and they'll be first on my calling list next time I need a tree company.

Exceptional customer service. The arborist spent about 30 minutes on our property, reviewing our various trees and providing recommendations. On the day of the job, they arrived early. I decided I wanted some additional work done and they added it to the job without a problem.

We were in a hurry, and their scheduler got a crew out quickly. Juan, the supervisor, had the good idea of using his Dingo machine to push the tree stump back into a hazardous hole in the ground. Later, he climbed on the Dingo to reach and cut some very high branches away from our roof. They asked us exactly which branches we wanted removed. They were polite and cleaned up everything.

The 404-cut-tree crew arrived right on time, 8:00am as the promised. Robert was the estimator that walked with me before the day of the service. He came the day the work was to be done and walked everything with Freddy the crew leader. The crew was very polite, professional and worked hard all day. They did a good job cleaning up after the job was done and were very careful on to damage my yard. They did a great job!!

I think they did prettty good work.

They were good. They met their estimates. They were on time and did what they were supposed to. I would use them again.

Excellent crew. Very professional. Trees were very close to our house and a fence and they took extra care not to damage either. Trees were right on top of several rose bushes and they also were very careful not to damage any roses. The crew put down plywood on our lawn so the lawn was not torn up. Excellent clean up. Even went over to the neighbors and blew off their back porch were some leaves and pine cones fell. The company was not the cheapest bid we received but they were worth the extra money!

They mulched out the trees and cleaned up the yard. They did a great job.

We decided on 404 Cut Trees because of the friendly receptionist and wonderful arborist that came a took time to explain all our options. Their estimate was very close to the others we recieved. Will be certainly be using them again.

They did a fine job. They arrived on time, did the job, didn't bother us and cleaned up well.

It was a very good experience. They came out when I wasn't home. They were timely and responsive. I was able to pay them over the phone. I would defiantly use them again!

Robert came out on 1/30/2013 to give us an estimate. He was very polite, professional and pleasant to work with. Actual work did not commence until Thursday, 2/14/2013. On 2/14/2013, the team arrived on-time. The team lead is Mark - he was knowledgeable and explained in details what their plans were (including post-project cleanup). The team worked from 8am to 6+pm and did not leave the work site for extended lunch break or any other breaks, They cleaned up all the major messes afterwards on the same day. The remaining trunks were promptly picked up early next morning (before 9AM) and the pressure wash staff showed up on schedule to clean up our drive way and concrete pad. The tree stumps were removed as scheduled on 2/20/2013 as well. A special note, Rob, the owner, came out on Tuesday 2/19/2013 to evaluate the health of one of our oak trees. He was very kind and knowledgeable. Furthermore, he gave me some great tips on chasing squirrels away from our attic. Thank you :)
