They were very pleasant and nice. We are not prepared to pay $2500 to have a tree removed - got several quotes ranging from $1700-$2500. We decided to wait until our neighbors have some trees taken out next year. Should save us some money!

43They did an excellent job. They showed up on time; walked the property with me before they started; performed the work quickly and efficiently; and walked the project with me after it was finished. They chipped all the wood into the back of their truck and asked if I wanted any of it. Which I didn't, so they hauled it off. They cleaned up before they left. The guys were professional and courteous.

I'm thrilled with the work they performed and found them very accommodating. I made an afternoon appointment, but when I left the house first thing in the morning, the two-man crew was arriving a few hours early. I showed them what to do, and despite having deep misgivings about leaving them to shape and trim trees and clean up the debris without supervision, I left for work. When I came home, I found the clean-up to be awesome and the work they did to be spot-on! They assured me that if I was less than satisfied, they would come back and not charge me until I was happy. Even better was the fact that my large pecan is still full and graceful, AND it shed not one twig or branch with all the wind and ice during the following 3 months. They found all the dangerous bits and still left the tree lovely. My crape myrtles were not over-butchered; the neighbor's over-hanging magnolia was thoughtfully trimmed back; and the other work was exactly as requested. The yard was very clean after they left. Since our job was fairly light, they were able to work us in to their schedule before we left for a long holiday, which was also very appreciated.

Arrive early. Walked me through before the work was done and again afterwards. Have used them before and will use them again. Highly recommend them.

It went very well. One of the key guys that I interacted with was one of the owners, he is an arborist and was quite knowledgeable about what to do with this particular tree. He had good knowledge.

This is an excellent company for cutting down trees. The guys were professional and cleaned up the area VERY well! They completely exceeded my expectations. Surprisingly, I thought the cost was LOW. However, they sent a guy over to dig the stump and he almost made things worse. The job was incomplete in many ways. Roots and a large portion of the stump remained. Of course I didn't know that because he left a HUGE pile of shaved wood on my front yard. When I called about this, they said it was in the fine print that they would not take away the wood chips. I have spent many hours and spent several hundred dollars to finish the job. Trees - YES! Stump removal - NO WAY!

Eric and Jose were very good. It took about one hour to determine how to topple the tree since it was dead and had to be pulled down. I had asked them to bring the tree down into a 20 foot wide path that would avoid other healthy trees and they did. Robert, the arborist, correctly assessed the amount of time that the team would take so I understood in advance the cost by going to an hourly rate instead of a fixed price.

They were excellent and outstanding. I had them do some additional work and they gave me some estimate on it. They had someone come out who was an arborist. He was able to make suggestions based on what I was going to do. When they cut the limbs, they had it tied in so that it wouldn’t actually damage something.

Team was prompt, professional, and did good work taking down the trees. Stump grinding took an extra day.

Great, great crew. Beginning with Stuart the Arborist, Rebecca from the office, and Juan and his crew were all a pleasure to work with. I could call the office or Stuart directly and ask questions and would get a prompt answer. The crew was so careful on my property and worked very hard and fast. The billing was right the first time and I did not have any discrepancies even though the work was done in three parts. One of the best contractors we have worked with in a long time. Would use them again and would recommend them.

They were great. There were on time, they had the proper equipment and removed the trees and chipped it up, swept and cleaned and you could never tell they had been there. In a matter of two or three hours they had removed a couple of small trees, limbs and everything that was on the way and did an excellent job.

They did a terrific job on the trees. I wanted them to leave the chippings for mulch, but the truck had poison ivy in it from a previous job. Rather than leave me a load of contaminated mulch, they came back later and gave me a whole load of clean mulch at no extra charge. I was able to mulch my entire property for the next 2 years! 404-CUT-TREE may not be the bottom-dollar shop for tree work, but they are definitely tops in service!

Although my condo board ended up using another provider, I was very happy with the customer service and knowledge from start to finish with 404 Cut Tree. Heidi arrived on time and was clearly very knowledgeable about trees. She was very friendly and professional and spent a lot of time with us, touring the property and pointing out other potential issues. She gave us a lot of information and let us know which trees had issues and the level of urgency for each issue, along with clear and detailed explanations. She also sent a very professional written estimate. If I own my own property in the future, I will likely use 404 Cut Tree because of their professionalism and level of expertise.

The guys at 404-Cut-Tree did an excellent job. From the punctual, after-hours quote by one of their arborists, Jordan to the guys staying after dark to ensure the yard was completely clean, the work was top notch. The quote was in line with others I had obtained but I felt more comfortable going with 404-cut-tree after talking the Jordan about my particular job. I will use them again as work is necessary in my yard and I encourage you to do the same.

The experience was very good. I thought it was a good value for money. What they did was up to my expectations.

They were good. They were very professional, the quality of working with the people, and the foreman was excellent. The only negative I had, was that I thought it was on the expensive side. Every good thing every body could say about these people was true. They are knowledgeable, they handled all of our stuff with the association, they got the approval to cut the trees from the city, they were educated on what should be the best course of action, and the tree removal was amazing. They do clean up when they leave. I have absolutely nothing but the best to say about him.

The arborists was professional, friendly and thorough. I used another contractor because of price considerations.

That worked out fine. They did a good job. The big deal was $199 for $400 of tree service. His estimate was $410, so I had to pay them the $10 over. He took care of the branches that he trimmed off. He was respectful and he knew what he was doing. It all went just well.

I used the Angies list deal to use 404-CUT-TREE. The president of the company was the person to respond very quickly to my inquiry. They had a very professional arborist come look at our bending tree as well as all of the trees and shrubs in the yard. They were great! Since our tree was very close to falling they expedited our request and got their men out to cut it down very quickly. The guys who cut the trees were super - very talented and efficient - even on a cold, windy night. I highly recommend this company! Very good people who own the company and work there - you can tell they have high integrity.

The initial visit and quote went smoothly, and they took extra care to try and schedule the work around my son's nap time. Unfortunately on the day of, the crew was somehow well over an hour early, so that sorta went by the wayside (pretty hard for a baby to nap through chainsaw noises) - but I give them credit for trying. They worked quickly and addressed some areas that needed touch up (like evening out the pruning of another tree that had been hit, and blowing the tree debris off our patio). Would use them again.

When I talked to the first person who came to give the estimate, I explained which branch to cut. When the crew came to do the job, the crew were not informed about the detail of the work. But after I explained it, they did the job without any problem.

I have used 404 Cut-Tree several times over the years. They are our go-to tree service. They are always timely and professional. I have found their pricing to be fair and a good value. They have a great office staff that you can reach on status, payment, etc. They also do not hesitate to call with updates if required (weather, etc.). Their clean up after the project is super. I recommend this firm highly. The stump grinder was very courteous talked to me about the heavy equipment, risks to the landscaping and asked for my permission before he started. I appreciated being able to make the decision and know the risk. By the way, he did such a good job, none of the risks he talked about happened,
