This particular office of Safelite does not believe in service and they are all about convenience for themselves and not the customer. If you have a job where you need fast service because your car is undrivable from having a severely cracked windshield, look elsewhere for service. I was scheduled for mobile service on Thursday, May 21, from 1 to 6. I received all the nice e-mails that are automatically sent out. At 5:45, I receive a text, not a phone call from a person, but a text, telling me that I'm being rescheduled for Wednesday, May 27th. That's practically rescheduling for one week. That's unreasonable and I don't understand what type of business or office practice would be so disorganized or uncaring as to re-schedule so far in the future. Moreover, after I received the text, I tried calling the Norcross office, but they were conveniently closed at 5 PM. The next morning I called and talked to the manager, who said that he didn't know why it had been re-scheduled, but that the assistant manager had done it, and the assistant manager was not in the office yet. I had to have a tarp put over my car because of rain and the threat that the glass would break further and fill my car with glass. I finally called another glass company, who was able to come out on Tuesday, one day ahead of Safelite. I will never use this company again.

Price was slightly high, but technician did come to work location to do this. Technician kept trying to get insurance information even though I was paying for this directly. Having read reviews addressing this, it wasn't unexpected....but I really don't think Satellite should pump customers for insurance information when the customer very clearly states that there will be no insurance claim.

This was an absolutely horrible experience; do not let this shop touch a Mercedes Benz.
Promised to use an OEM windshield, but used an aftermarket part that did not fit properly
Left off the molding at the top of the windshield
Lost a trim piece from the wiper arm; had to replace the entire arm at a $ 300 cost
Windshield was mounted 1/4" too high
The collision shop that redid the work after this botched job said whoever did it did not know what they were doing. The adhesive work under the windshield was very messy. For evidence, the missing trim piece from the wiper arm did not need to be removed to do the work; it was removed by someone who did not know that.
