Paul is great.

Paul's background is building very fine house, he is a perfectionist, he will not leave until the job is done perfectly,, he remodeled bathroom and installed appliances, and restored two mahogany doors and stains, he did absolutely fantastic jobs, my neighbors keep letting me know how beautiful, he even has corrected other contractors lousy work, If you get Paul it will be your lucky day.

He is very detailed and well worth the money.

Paul was able to fix my sliding glass door so it works like a dream--even though it's at least 40 years old! He was also able to install my dishwasher correctly so that it sits solidly, something others had tried but not been able to do. Paul was on time, arriving with everything he needed to do both jobs and cleaned up completely. I will be keeping Paul's number handy!!

I would strongly recommend Paul, he is very thorough in his work, does not take shortcuts and gets the job done right. Paul replaced a door for me, he made sure everything was installed correctly. He ensured that the door was properly sealed, insulated and caulked, in addition he was very respectful of my home, making sure he cleaned up and took precautions not to damage anything.

I have known and worked with Paul for 20 years and can recommend him without reservation. During this time Paul has done lots of work for me. Built a cherry paneled wetbar at my home. 3��� x6��� 7��� tall. This had cherry paneling and molding and a built in fridge with a matching panel. Extended my front porch overhand and repaired dozens of shutters with rot- clean out, filled and repainted- they are still good 15 years later. Recovered a deck with brazilian hardwood-Took up the old failing deck, installed the new boards with hidden fasteners, and applied the proper finish. He took care to make sure the flashing was in good order and removed and reinstalled shoe molding around the deck. Recently he helped me remodel two baths in our condo. Paul made what could have been a nasty mess a quick, clean and orderly process. He demoed the old tile in panels, carefully straightened the necessary walls and laid sheetrock to meet the cement board for tiling. After the tile contractor completed the tiling he finished out the drywall for painting and built and installed a wooden cabinet with shelves. One particular problem he made short work of was a wall that was bent out of flat by 2��� over 6ft. I envisioned a drywall shim and massive amounts of drywall mud. Paul simply took down the old drywall and installed stringers across the 2x4 studs carefully shimming them. The result was a dead flat wall with a minimum of hassle. One note about reviews, I believe that I���m more qualified than most people to evaluate folks in the building trades. I���ve got decades of experience in engineering and factory maintenance and my father had a side business as a general contractor.

He had not done the job we hired him to do but because he is an experienced craftsman, he was able to assess the job and complete the job to perfection. Paul is great! He arrived right on time and I explained the issue with the beams in our crawl space. Paul reviewed the situation and gave us a decription of how he would fix it and the price. He completed the project w/in the same afternoon. We are very happy with Paul and will definitely hire him again!

In a word, Paul was AWESOME! We came to him with a project he had never done before-soundproof a ceiling in a condo. Paul researched the project and presented us with 3 detailed plans outlining different options. He priced each option, listing all materials and labor costs. We were concerned about preserving the crown molding because of the age of the condo (1930's). Paul is a master craftsman with lots of custom molding experience and he assured us he would preserve it and he did. Paul was courteous, on time every day, cleaned up and finished a day early. Paul showed up on time, gave a good quote, did the work very nicely, cleaned up after himself and we are generating our next list of items for him to complete for us. We look forward to having him complete small jobs around the house as they come up.

Very prompt, experience and professional. The delivery was prompt and the appliances were professionally installed within a timely manner. The cabinet had to be shaved to fit the appliances and all effort was made and was a success. Would definately use Paul's Pride and refer to friends.
