Description of Work: We had cabinets designed and built to fit in our basement bar area.

Description of Work: We picked High Country Cabinets based on the ratings they had received from other AL users. We were not disappointed. We called Bob and explained that we were redoing our kitchen and wanted new kitchen cabinets. Bob and Jason came over a few days later as promised and gave us more than one option with cost estimates for each option. They laid out the options quite clearly without pushing any one option. When we have decided which option to go with they emailed us a layout so that we could see exactly what it would look like. That was great and very helpful because it actually shows you what your trying to envision.Once we agreed on the options, they provided a time frame within which they could start & finish the job. They started and finished earlier than promised. In other words, they were quite conservative about setting expectations and very good about sticking to their word,once given. As for the work itself, they did an excellent job overall and surpassed our expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend High Country Cabinets to anyone who cares about good quality work and good work ethic.

Description of Work: To design, build and install high end custom cubbies for 10 of our new classrooms to State specifications. 100 children received a top and bottom cubbie to keep jackets, lunch boxes, and other school items for daily use. Solid oak cabinets with painted insides with school colors!

Description of Work: We had a great experience with this father and son team. We were given everything that we asked for in the design of our kitchen with competitive pricing and excellent quality. I chose granite counter tops and it looks amazing. The seams are so small that they are hardly noticeable. The cabinetry is beautiful, and I have more space for everything. I would also like to say I am not always the easiest to please, but anything I asked for Jason and Bob always made sure that it was taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend this company when you need a beautiful custom kitchen!

Description of Work: (The above price does not include appliances.) We began working with Bob and Jason Richards (father/son) on our kitchen design about one month prior to construction. All details in our drawings were included in the construction pricing, all the way down to corbels, decorative trim, beadboard backed shelving, television nook, wine rack, bench seating, bookshelf displays, hood design, lighting changes, plumbing changes, floor refinishing, new backsplash and appliance installation. The complete kitchen remodel included moving the pantry, cooktop and refrigerator which required plumbing and gas line changes. The cooktop was taken out of the island and put on the wall allowing us to create a French Country European hood design with a pot filler. We then changed the orientation of the island making it longer and more substantial. We discovered the old pantry was a load bearing wall so they brought in a framing expert who did a marvelous job framing a space for the new subzero. The cabinetry was all custom designed and constructed. Surrounding cabinets are cream with a beautiful maple glaze and the island is black with slight distressing. The lighting in our kitchen was also completely reworked. In-cabinet lighting was added, as was under-cabinet and above-cabinet, all on dimmer switches. A kitchen desk was replaced with a buffet including glass doors and shelving for wine glasses and a wine rack. A small bench seat was placed in an open area below windows allowing additional seating and three drawers for more storage space. Additional items, not included in the original pricing, were tongue-and-grove pine added to the ceiling, a new vanity for the downstairs bath that matched the kitchen island and refinishing floors beyond the kitchen.
