Must admit I was nervous you don't buy many roofs in your lifetime. From the beginning it's been an awesome experience. Responded to my quote request in less than 12 hours. Came for the quote and had an amazing packet of information that provided a wealth of information and answers to questions one would not think to ask. Everyone has been prompt with their responses to questions. Prompt and on time from the delivery of materials, trailer to haul off old roof to the day the roof was installed. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the work done. Highly recommend.

From the first call for an estimate until the post work follow up on a few minor concerns the Findlay staff has been extremely responsive. Our sales associate always kept us informed and responded very quickly to. Any questions. Scheduling and crews were always punctual. Couldn’t be happier on how it all went. We had a couple follow up items that they to be fixed however overall job was done in the timeframe that was stated. Very pleased with our choice to use Findlay Roofing.

As soon as I called I received all of the necessary information needed to provide to my insurance company. Any questions that I had were answered immediately. All of the employees were very professional and knowledgeable. The pricing was spot on. Due to rain my scheduled appointment had to be pushed back but they came out and covered all of the places on my roof that caused concern.

Findlay Roofing was very professional. We needed them to meet a quick due diligence timeline on a house we were in the process of buying. The representative showed up on time and discovered two leaks in the roof and an issue with a few of the shingles. We will definitely use Findlay Roofing in the future.

Did a great job, but for what was left over in our attic. We did not realise what a clean up we would have in our attic, but we handled it and they did do a great roof, roof!

Great and they did a great job. We were scheduled for the next week, but we sprang a leak in our living room and they were able to come a week early. Luckily it did not rain again until the day after they were done. The roof looks great and we feel they went beyond what we expected!!

We called this company and they were very prompt about coming out, that's the last good thing I have to say about them! When the 1ST repair man showed up he looked at the job and said he didn't have the parts and there were additional items that needed to be added to the quote! First flag! I agreed to the additional items and he said he would have to comeback, he didn't ! I called and a 2nd repairman shows up and looks over the job and tells me that this job is going to require 2-3 men and he'll have to get the office to call me and reschedule! They didn't and I had to call them. After doing so and leaving a message I received a email telling me they were now scheduling for two weeks out! I called and spoke to someone and was given a date for the next day. That morning i received a call from the repairmen that due to rain(just that morning) they would come out the next day! When I didn't hear from anyone I called again and was told they probably wouldn't be out until the next Saturday! At this point I have no idea what to expect from the repair! Will report back once work is done!

Went well, Anthony from Findlay was great and provided excellent service for me as an investor living away from my property in CA.

They provided the estimate to me very quickly.

They did an excellent job with installing the roof and had a fair price. The reason we went with them is because of the reviews on their website and owner (?) often co-host with Dave Baker on Saturday mornings The Home Fix It show. He has said many times that they have meetings about treating their customers the way they want to be treated. After not even a year, we have had a roof leak from lots and lots and lots of rain! I would give it 5 stars for their salesman who was very good and the roofers who installed our tiles. My husband called on Friday, February 21. Since no return call, he called, again, on Monday, February 24. No return call. He called on Friday, February 28. Each time he was told some one would call back in a "few minutes". Again no return phone call. This is just ridiculous! 3 times and still no consideration for a return phone call. I was going to call and that would not be a nice phone call! I'm not as nice nor patient as my husband is! But his patience had run out! He called that same day, (2/28), at 5:05 and had to leave a voice mail. Very frustrated, he called the sales manager, Jason and left him a vm at 5:10. Only then did my husband get a call from the GM within a few minutes! That's what it took to get a hold of them! This past Saturday, February 29 at 2:00, someone came out to check out the leak. Turns out it was the chimney cap. Why that wasn't replaced in the first place we don't know. At this we are still waiting for them to get back with us for the cost of replacing. Today is March 3! Again, poor customer service in not taking care of their customers after the service has been provided! Extremely disappointed in them that they really don't take care of their customers in how they would want to be treated. Want to add, we had two other estimates. One was another well known company and they quoted us a comparable price but their salesman was condescending. Then the other company was a man who worked out of his house and we didn't feel comfortable with him because what if we had a problem with our tiles and he wouldn't return our call? What guess what?! Finley hadn't returned our calls and thought surely with them being a reputable company we wouldn't experience that with them. Expected that would happen with a man who works out of his house and he would be the contact person. . Probably would've been better with him because he'd have his cell phone on him all the time!

There were weather delays due to our roof replacement happened in January but Findlay Roofing Staff (sales person, office staff, production supervisor, crew leader on our job, the crew) all handled the situation great and took good care of us. Our new roof is beautiful and we thank all who made it happen.

I contacted them twice but they never had the courtesy of contacting me.

Excellent overall. John (the salesman/estimator) is the best in the business, he will not steer you wrong. Our roof was a complex one on a much older home. John is super knowledgable and provides expert advice. The job was scheduled, and the workers showed up exactly on time; thye worked fast, and it was all done in just a few days. They cleaned up great, left no debris. Afterwards we did find a few small issues with the quality, I suspect one of the workers was taking shortcuts. I was disappointed, but when we called Findlay we immediately had a quality control supervisor on the site the very next day; and to my surprise he personally fixed the issues himself. As an accomodation they also gave us some much nicer upgraded pavers for our deck (we had chosen some inexpensive ones). We would definitely recommend Findlay to others.

We needed a roof replacement and we got John Hartsfield to come out for an estimate. He was amazing to work with and made the process painless. At some point in the process, I think we asked for almost every shingle sample he had... twice. We also required custom skylights and we were also in the middle of a siding project at the time so it required coordination between the teams. I can say things didn't go perfectly - but every issue Findlay worked to go above and beyond our expectations and made it right. One example, the flat roof required a membrane which was supposed to be gray - and a white one was installed. Instead of tearing off the old membrane, they doubled up the gray membrane onto the white giving us the equivalent of a double roof. I couldn't be more pleased with the work this company did for us.

Well, I've waited a couple months before posting a review because I wanted to see how the new roof held up to a few rain storms. And, I'm happy to say I've detected no links or any other issues so far. I initially had gotten multiple estimates and found Findlay's comparable to the others. Their warranty was a bit better, which is what swayed me. All went well as far as scheduling, arriving on time, etc. Covered all our shrubbery, cleaned up everything very well. Our driveway runs right next to our house and they were careful to get all nails up. No issues with tires or my families feet attracting nails since. They even had to deal with a glass solarium roof when removing the old shingles with no damage to it. The only thing that keeps me from giving them an A is that I had in our estimate that a piece rotten facia board be replaced as part of the repair - as the best time to that is before putting a drip edge and the new roof on. I was told it would be done. Nothing was done the day of the reproofing, when I called our contact - he said it would be done. Maybe not that day, but eventually. It wasn't. Hasn't. It's much more difficult do it now with the new drip edge as it also is in a odd place where the roof meets the solarium roof. Not a big deal, just that now I'll have to hire someone to replace it. I don't like being told something will be done - repeatedly - and it isn't. House looks good though!!!

After speaking with several roofing companies and reading all of the mixed reviews, decided to have Findlay quote us. A friend had also recently recommended them and had a positive experience. We could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. From the salesperson to the last worker cleaning up, there was fantastic communications, friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism at every step. There was really nothing that did not exceed our expectations (which were high) and we were pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient the process went. I'm sure you might find a slightly less expensive option, but when it comes to your roof, we wanted a company we wanted someone who would stand behind their work, and if our experience so far is any indication, then I think we made the right decision.

I was paralyzed in selecting a roofer because so many of the larger roofers had horror stories in the reviews. I wanted a company that was big enough and around long enough to be around to fix things if I got a leak, yet still was highly responsive and took pride in delivering what they promised. Findlay delivered all that and more. After reading reviews for weeks, I had a list of 5 roofers that had A+ BBB ratings, and had been around for 9-34 years. According to the BBB, Findlay was founded, and has been accredited, since 2/9/1999. All 5 companies had good reviews and all looked at the job and gave me quotes. Alex, the sales rep, couldn't have been more responsive, but also never gave me any pressure. He answered all questions, and worked within the insurance settlement terms. What really put them over the top is that Findlay is a rare Platinum-level installer with Owens Corning. That means that, if you use the required O.C. components (and you would if you were replacing the entire roof), then not only do you get a 50-year no-leak warranty from Findlay, but you get the Platinum Protection lifetime warranty backed by Owens Corning themselves. In rough terms, after the first 2 years, if Findlay doesn't make it right, O.C. will. Many warranties start pro-rating their coverage immediately; but this warranty doesn't start to pro-rate the shingles for 50 years, and the labor for 25. That's tremendous peace of mind. The rest was execution: I have a big roof, and they brought in a big crew that did the whole job in a day, and left the yard immaculate. When I later looked at the work, I had been concerned that they hadn't step-flashed along the walls. They brought in a quality control person the next day to examine the job and fix anything that wasn't done right. Not only did he find that the crew had flashed under the stucco (even better than step-flashing), but he took photos of the flashing along all walls and the chimney, and the new plumbing boots - all things I couldn't check from the ground. Their accounts receivable people couldn't have been more accommodating, and allowed me to pay online with a credit card, for no fee.

All services went great! Unbelievable how much work was done in such a short amount of time.

It was great. Really, really good. Incredible worker.

Everything was great. The office staff, Shane in Sales and all of the technicians were very nice and completed the job on time and cleaned up when they were done also.

They met my husband & I at different times. We asked for 2 quotes. One to repair the leak in the porch roof, the other to change the pitch of the roof, repair rotted boards and re-roof entire porch. I was given an estimate for repair, the fix & re-roofing was a number off the top of his head. When my husband met with someone, they needed a supervisor to come out. They followed up with an e-mail and a call, looking for us to commit without a price. They didn’t come back with a quote. Roof Roof indeed.

Detailed estimate and informative sales packet was left at my door without my having to be at home. Sales person (Alex) answered all of my questions and left me to mull over my choices without pressure. The crew arrived on time and got right to work. Roof was completed in a day and all debris and almost all nails were cleaned up. When I noticed some items that needed attending to they sent someone out right away and he addressed all of my concerns (Jason was wonderful). Their financial department was timely in contacting my insurance company and moving my claim along. I would definitely hire this company again.

It went very well. The roofers were punctual, extremely hard workers and completed the job in 2 days. One issue we had was that we would have liked to have someone with whom we could communicate to sign off on the work. However, when we called, someone did come out and when we pointed out something that still needed repair, a team was sent out to take care of it. Also, although they sent out someone with a magnet to pick up any errant nails, we are still picking up nails around the house. I don't think this can be avoided. Just be aware.
