They are very trustworthy and knowledgeable. We thought that the leak was coming from the skylight and they replaced it and when they were replacing some shingles they found the real leak and took care of it immediately. They did phenomenal work and I am very happy with them. They got the problem solved and we have not had anything go wrong since they did the work.

This is a top notch roofing company and I have no complaints about them. They did a great job for us and they are absolutely who we will use for any roofing needs we may obtain over the years. They just are super to work with. They are cordial and are respectful and polite and well mannered. They clean up after themselves and they're just great in every way.

I like the way that they cleaned up the yard. I was afraid that we would be finding nails and staples all over but they went through it with a magnetic type of thing and got them all up. They just did a great job.

I have had no leakage problems or anything like that to date with my roof. It looks nice and its held up great despite weather and things like that. I would say that I am happy with the roofing job Findlay did for me. I mean, in general, it just looks like it was done real well from a structural standpoint and everything like that, so I'd give them all high marks at this point in time.

These guys were unbelievable! The quickness of their performance was really amazing. They knew exactly what they were doing the whole time and they cleaned up really well after themselves.

The roof turned out fine and they were good in that area. I am happy with the roof but when it came to the other carpentry work, there was a lot of confusion. There was a lot of miscommunication and they don t have as many workers in that department. The carpentry took a lot longer than we expected and then there was a delay in the chimney cap as they lost it. They took it off the bill, and then weeks later they found it and put it on free of charge. It was custom made so they could not just use any one. They cleaned up great and I would highly recommend them for roofing, just not other work.

I think they did a real good job on the roof and I am happy with it. They were on schedule with the job and finished on time also. They did a good job cleaning up and I don t have anything negative to say about them or their work. It was an expensive job, but they did do very good on it. The entire crew I noticed worked hard and I am happy with their work.

I was so pleased with the overall work done on my home. I was amazed on how quickly the job was completed and how thorough and knowledgeable the workers were. They gave me an 18 month guarantee on their work as well, so I will definitely recommend them to others.

After contacting many roofing companies about slate roofs, Findley came an gave me a fair and knowledgeable estimate regarding my home. They were punctual, clean, and considerate. The flat roofs were tricky, and I did have some leaking issues. However, they came back right away and fixed the problem immediately. (And apologized!) They also added copper flashing around my stone walls and roof, (without additional cost), because the previous roofer had left a mess with tar. This also made my roof more water tight (thanks!). The office staff was polite... and the roofers were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Bill Parsons was my contact, and he made the entire experience very pleasant. I would not use anyone else!

Outstanding! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced, honest, roofer who performs the work exactly as quoted with no surprises.

1st Roofer walked off the day I took off from work. I got a nail in my tire from them not picking up all the nails in my driveway, which they could care less. This is just the icing on the cake. Watch out for when they take your shingles off. They will not even give you an estimate of the sheathing that needs replaced before they do the work. They are trying to charge me an extra $2000 for this which I never agreed to. I have asked them to meet me in the middle on this because that is all I can afford, or at the very least be shown the receipts for the decking, which they refuse. I am constantly being given the run around, being bullied, being threatened by court and a lien, and so forth. Be cautious when hiring this company, so you do not have to go through what I am going through with them. They will try to refute this review and discredit me, but all I can say is please take caution when hiring Findlay Roofing to replace your roof.

After receiving estimates from several companies I selected Findlay Roofing because of the great work they had done on two of my neighbors homes. In addition, they were nearly $3,000 less than one of the estimates. Findlay scheduled the project for about two weeks after originally giving the estimate. On the day of the work their crew of 9 workers showed up at 7:30 AM to begin the project. By 7:30 PM Findlay completed the roof and had completely cleaned up the yard of all trash. The following morning the company that had delivered the dumpster the day before the project picked up their container and returned my home back to normal. A couple of days after the work had been completed I noticed that there were a few shingles that did not match due to being from another lot. I called Findlay and they sent someone out the next day to replace the mismatched shingles and now the roof looks great. The best part is that their final bill was nearly $1,000 less than the estimate.

Dave called to confirm his appointment to provide a proposal and arrived spot on time. Their installer arrived next morning and worked diligently until finished. Before leaving he said that there was a spot where shingles needed replacement that wasn't on the estimate, but he'd do it without extra charge.

Very friendly - office staff kept us informed. They did a great job, the workers were very considerate. They made a huge mess, but cleaned up better than I could have. They even covered up a squirrel hole for me. The price and the job was great. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

They came out quickly to give me a quote. They were able to come out a couple of days later to perform the work. I was selling a home and needed someone who could perform the work quickly. Original problems were found by the buyers home inspector. They were quick and reliable. The price seemed high to me but having someone that would give a quote and come do the work was important.

Repair around chimney left nails coming through the screened porch ceiling. I called immediately and it was very difficult to get someone out to repair. They did come - however, repair work was shoddy, at best. It looks lumpy and awful. They pulled out the nails and then just threw more shingles over the other shingles and painted the nail holes in the ceiling. I had to patch the holes and repaint the ceiling. The repair around the skylight has never been successful - leaking from the same site still exists. When we experienced difficulty in getting the screened porch ceiling repaired, we stopped payment on our check. Ben Owens, from Findley's, called us and was extremely rude and threatened to sue US! We never refused payment - only after we, the customer, were satisfied were we willing to pay. Findley continued to say that we were breaking the law. It was an awful experience. Especially because after paying over $1,200 - our roof still LEAKS!!!

The sales rep was very nice and informative but,I wanted gutters replaced at the same time.

It was an awful experience. They failed to complete one portion of the roof, and didn't notice it until final inspection. They submitted the bill before finishing this portion. The roofing crew could not speak any English, tore apart the planking (leading to much higher than expected cost for additional planking), put a hole through the wall of a dormer window, and left nails all over the place (including the yard and driveway). I had to rent a magnet and collect nails for hours afterward (I have a 2 year old at home), and I collected hundreds. Then I got an incredibly rude phone call to collect on the bill, one day after they finished the portion of the roof that they originally failed to complete. I would never use them again, and would not recommend anyone else use them.

THERE WAS A MIX-UP IN THE COLOR THAT I WANTED. THEY WORKED THAT OUT, AND REDUCED THE COST OF THE JOB. WE HAD TO HAVE A FEW ADDITIONAL CONVERSATIONS WITH THE ROOFERS. THEIR ABILITY TO NEGOTIATE ON THE PRICE DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE WAS AWESOME.

THEY WERE GOOD. THERE WERE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SERVICE AND THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. WE CALLED DURING THE WEEK, AND THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT COULD COME AND GIVE QUOTES, AND DID IT WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

THEY RESPONDED VERY WELL. THEY REPAIRED THE ROOF OVER OUR BAY WINDOW AREA. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY CAME BACK AND CHECKED ON IT. THEY SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CONFIDENT.

WE FOUND THEM TO BE EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. THE WORK WAS VERY HIGH QUALITY AND VERY TIMELY. THE CREW CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WELL, AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD.

EXCELLENT WORK. NO SIGNS OF A LEAK SINCE THE REPAIR.

OVERALL, WE WERE SATISFIED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. WE RECEIVED A DETAILED WRITTEN ESTIMATE BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE. THEY DID THE WORK IN ABOUT 3 DAYS AND CLEANED UP ALL DEBRIS WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.

THE SUBCONTRACTOR WHO DID REPAIR DID SLOPPY WORK AND VISIBLE FLASHING NOT CONSISTENT WITH STEP FLASHING ALREADY PRESENT. WAS NOT HAPPY WITH FINAL APPEARANCE & LEAK IS STILL PRESENT. THE ESTIMATOR WAS POLITE AND I CHOSE FINDLEY BECAUSE OF HIM. THE METAL ROOF IS NICE, BUT I DON'T THINK PROBLEM IS TOTALLY SOLVED.
