Initially came to repair the roof at my house in November 2009. When the leak persisted, we called them back. Each time they came, they did something to the roof but it was never properly repaired. Eventually, they became slow to return calls (would only respond after many daily attempts on my part) and three times failed to show up for a scheduled appointment. It was very frustrating given that I would see their trucks in the area almost every day. Eventually they sent someone out who quickly looked at the roof and announced that he could not find a leak. Very disappointing experience.

They were wonderful job for me. They were just wonderful.

Once they got started it went fairly quick. I spent a bit more than I anticipated, but the job was done well

I had a very negative experience with them. A man came out to give me a quote for a bunch of work that he said needed to be done but I woke him up when I called on the day he was supposed to start the work. He was late and there was a part of the job that he said he couldn’t do. I hired him in the first place because I needed that part of the job. I let him do a little bit of the job order but then I told him that I didn’t want him to do the rest. There was a lot of back and forth about money; he did about 1/5 of the work order but he wanted half of the money. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and we settled, but I wouldn’t use him again.

The estimator Tom Findlay (nott the owner) came out and showed up as to the scheduled time. Job was described well and the central office then followed up to schedual the repair date. They phoned to let us know a dumpster trailer would be placed in our driveway and also gave us a heads up for the shingle and supplies delivery. They communicated well through every step of the process. The crew that performed the tear off and install were all very polite and treated our home with care and respect. They put tarpoulins out to protect our shrubbery as well as all necessary areas of the yard to ensure no debris remained after the old roof was torn off (all of the plant beds around our home were clean and free of nails or shingle debris). There was an area of siding that was loose and decayed, the foreman took the time to point it out and let me but a piece of siding from Home Depot that they installed for me. The work was performed quickly and efficiently, after the job was complete, the office followed up to finalize paperwork and payment. We were very happy with the entire Findlay Roofing experience.

Was the only honest contractor we spoke with, everyone else tried to sell us more than we needed

A friend recommended Findlay and I was very impressed with Matt, who estimated the cost, and there was a $600 Angies List coupon that I used. My insurance company and Findlay worked together to come up with a very reasonable replacement cost. Findlay was very professional in every step of the process: making the appointment, delivering the debris trailer the day before, doing the actual work, and verifying payment after the work was complete. I would definitely recommend this company.

They were very friendly but I ended up going with somebody else. They were professional, prompt and very nice. They are somebody I would consider going with in the future. There was nothing negative.

They were very professional from quote stage to clean-up. Other homeowners in our subdivision had their roofs replaced as well and in comparison the work Findlay did on our roof replacement is far better than the others.

After seeing fallen shingles from my roof during recent storms, I contacted Findlay Roofing upon the recommendation of Dave Baker on WSB AM-750’s “Home Fix It” radio show. Jason Nichols worked extra hours that weekend to accommodate my schedule and inspect my home’s roof. After confirming roof damage, Jason provided me with a very reasonable roof replacement proposal and volunteered to meet with my insurance company’s adjuster. The adjuster informed me that he was familiar with the very good reputation of Findlay Roofing, expressing relief that I had contacted a trustworthy roofing company so highly regarded. The adjuster then contacted Jason and met him at my house to inspect the roof’s condition. The outcome was an entire new roof, fully paid for by my insurance company, less my deductible. The folks at Findlay Roofing were very informative and helpful as I selected shingle quality and color. On installation day, a dozen roofers arrived early Friday morning and worked tirelessly all day. The work crew returned early Saturday and worked until the job was complete and the entire area was thoroughly cleaned-up. The inspector my mortgage company subsequently dispatched to view the new roof installation confirmed that Findlay Roofing performed excellent work. I highly recommend Findlay Roofing Company without hesitation. From initial contact, through the involvement with my insurance company, followed by the material selection process and installation, and finally the accommodating payment process, it was a pleasure having Findlay Roofing Company perform the roof replacement work on my house.

I would highly recommend them. Everything from start to finish was just honest. They came in and did what they need to. They exceeded my expectation.

They showed me their product and I chose it and they sent me a quote online. They did everything that they said they were going to do. He noticed that a couple of my windowsills were rotting and there is a man outside right now fixing those. I got three estimates and they were all very comparable so the price was competitive.

The crew arrived on time at the scheduled day, the crew foreman introduced himself to me, and they began work on the roof. I was amazed at the speed with which they went about their activities. The entire roof was replaced (multiple tiers, sections) and all of the waste materials were picked up and disposed of in a single day. It was a long day for the workers (approx. 13 hours). The roof looks great. I have been up on the roof since its construction, and I have found zero imperfections in my examination. A job well done. An added bonus was the financing offered by Findlay roofing. I received an interest-free, 1-year loan from Findlay roofing for their services. It helps to spread out the cash outflow over a longer period of time.

All aspects of the repair were done exactly as promised and on time. The technician that did the estimate also managed the repair, which was a nice touch. Made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. The office called the following day to insure I was satisfied. Findlay is quite professional. I will use them for all my roofing needs in the future.

The crew showed up early and ready to work. It was a typical hot Atlanta summer day, but those guys worked through the day with very few breaks! First day, they tore off the shingles and noticed several sheets of plywood that were rotted due to water damage that was caused by poor workmanship around vent stacks. They showed me what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. I agreed to have the plywood replaced. They reworked the vent stacks and added the ridge vent across the roof. Next day, they shingled and did a great job cleaning up all the wood, shingles and nails around the house (bushes and lawn). Overall, the crew did a great job and the guy supervising that crew was tremendous. The only negative I have is the 'sales' person who came out to give me the estimate. He told me that he would be on site each day to make sure the crew did their job and to stay on top of them. That was a joke! I didn't see him after I signed the paper to have the work done. I was upset that he never bothered to come out or call, but the lead guy on the crew was very good, so who needs the sale person anyway.

Everything went great. After they replaced my roof and I had leak around my chimney. I called them up and they came right out and fixed it.
