The process was so smooth and easy. We went through our insurance so most of it was covered. I do think the prices are great and the service is impeccable. I will use them again for sure.

They were very responsive and came within a day after I called and did the service within three days.

Company rep came out to give a quote the next day after I called, arrived on time and was very professional. He promised our roof leak would be repaired within 7 days despite rain forecasts and the holiday season. He was good to his word and our roof leak was repaired quickly, with no mess left behind. Findlay Roofing came in with a lower quote than two other companies and did a great job--very happy!

We haven't moved forward with our roofing project but of the 3 companies we received estimates from Findlay impressed us most. They were timely, professional and had great follow-up. They also seem to have great knowledge of their products. When we get ready to get the job done we'll be calling Findlay back.

Tony, Findlay Roofing's representative, quickly responded to my initial on-line inquiry. His demeanor, professionalism, and focus remained at a high level of competency throughout the process. We were able to schedule a meeting that was convenient for me after he had gathered baseline information. At our initial meeting, and at all subsequent meetings, he was engaged, focused, attentive to detail and to my questions. He was not pushy in any way at any time. He thoroughly explained the process, the products, the warranty, and the benefits that his company offered. He was careful not to disparage any competitor and simply presented informationabout his company that allowed me to make a final decision. I selected Findlay over three other competitors, two of which were "brand-name" companies. Once we established the start date, the foreman on the project, Jose, called me to let me know when he would arrive. The only snafu during the project was a one day delay in starting the project. It happened that a previous job ran longer than expected and one member of the crew wasn't able to work, which limited their progress. However, Jose and team did arrive exactly on time the next day and immediately got started. Jose was an active member of the team and was able to keep me informed as the project moved along. It was refreshing to watch people who enjoy what they do and do it so well. As a part of the project, we had decided to replace one skylight. However, when they went to replace it, we realized that although the new skylight was the correct size, the original builder had modified the opening in a way that the new skylight would not fit without enlarging the opening in our ceiling. I was not up to that task and we decided not to install the new skylight. Jose was very supportive of this decision and never tried to through-in the "FUD" factor (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) so that we would spend more money for the skylight. Tony also stopped by later in the afternoon. When Jose's team wrapped-up the project, our yard, driveway, and shrubbery looked as though "it never even happened." One member of the team worked non-stop gathering up all of the debris and loaded it into a small dump trailer. We could not have been happier with our experience with Findlay Roofing. They exceeded our expectations at every turn and we would strongly recommend them to anyone who has need of their services.

They were professional and prompt. I waited a while before I made a decision and Jason was good with follow up but not too aggressive. They were competitively priced and overall had a more professional feel than the others. The reviews were mostly good, so I decided to give them a chance. They showed up on time, did the job as scheduled, cleaned up well, and allowed me a little time to pay in full. Overall as good an experience you can have spending that much money. I believe it was a good quality investment in my home.

Very pleased with how efficient they were in arriving on time, working from literally dawn to dusk and doing a great job. They took care to protect bushes/grass and keeping things as clean as they could during the process as well as a thorough clean up when they were finished. The roof looks great.

Findlay's representatives were very professional, courteous and informative in all portions of the process. there representative come out on time and completely inspecting the roof with explanations and pictures of the findings. Options were outlined for the complete process and which products were standard and were extra cost options. After having 4 other estimates from other contractors I selected Findlays Roofing as there quote provided for quality products being used throughout the process, a guarantee that no other contractor could provide with confidence in my belief they would stand behind their product. My confidence came from reviews not only on Angie's List but the Better Business listings and two other sources with all pointing to them being reputable and reliable. The job was started on time and completed within the time constraints they outlined in their contract. I was able to watch the entire process being done and was impressed with their work crew and obvious concern for the quality of there work. Clean up was complete with you not being able to know a roof had just been put on. The quality of there work appears to be excellant with many neighbors confirming how good the finished product looked.

We contacted Findlay for an estimate on roof replacement along with 3 other companies. Findlay was very professional, timely and helpful on the estimate and we felt they offered the best product for the money. They had done many roof replacements in our neighborhood and also had good reviews on Angie's list so we chose them. They did the job while we were out of town so we did not view the job while they were in the process of doing it. When we returned, all appeared good except the gutters were not put back correctly. We did find a few nails but not many. We contacted Findlay about the gutters and they sent someone out right away that took pictures and agreed that they needed to send the 'gutter team' out to fix the problem. They did come out and corrected the issue in a timely manner. We have had a few major rain days since the roof was installed and no problems. I think they did a good job and were a pleasure to work with.

My neighbor had a wonderful experience with Findlay so when I had roofing problems I called. A rep came out and talked through the issues I was having. I was advised that I would receive a quote by e-mail. It didn't come after about a week so I called twice before the quote was sent. The information provided was very brief /unclear and I wasn't sure what work I would actually be agreeing to if I hired them. I responded to the email requesting additional clarification and never received a response back. I have heard wonderful things about this company, I'm not sure if they were just incredibly busy and this quote got lost in the shuffle, but my experience was less than wonderful. Since that time, I hired another company to complete the work.

It sounds too good to be true, but from the estimator who came to meet with us twice, to each crew that did the work, and including the project manager who did the scheduling and invoicing, everyone was friendly, on time, made suggestions, and very professional. We did not have to have any of the work redone. Everyone treated our home and yard with care, picked up after themselves, and did a few more things we didn't expect. Not good difficult to find quality customer minded contractors these days.

Contractor's crew (of 7 workmen!) came when promised, finished the job in 1 1/4 days and cleaned up after themselves nicely. New roof has been doing well for 9 months with no problems. Price was competitive with 2 other bidders for the same exact work.

The sales consultant that I met with was quite sociable and discussed the entire scope of the work that would be completed. However, after he left I noticed that he had put a good size "ding" in my gutter where he had put the ladder up to inspect the roof. I never lodged a formal complaint about it as the gutters were coming down anyway, but I do believe that he should have brought it to my attention at the time of visit. I did not select this company due to: (1) the cause of the leaking by the chimney and run-off on the back side of the house was not approrpirately addressed when all other estimates did (2) the cost of replacement decking was not included in the estimate, and (3) the estimate for premium shingles was higher than all other estimates and the consultant kept telling me that they are difficult to obtain. Also, I received calls sometimes 2-3 times per day for almost 2 weeks after I had already called and left a voice message that I had not selected Findlay Roofing for the job.

Roof is 6 years old and a couple tiles appear to be missing and a couple are lifted. The lady on the phone was very nice, but said they don't service Gainesville for repairs -- only for replacement roofs. Therefore, I have to search for another provider. Angie's list should include such service area details to facilitate our searches for services.

I would rate them high overall. Their price was a little high than I thought it was.

I was referred to Findlay by a coworker who always does her homework. She told me Findlay has the best warranty in the business and she was correct - 10 years! My call was taken when I called...no voicemail...I was able to set up an estimate appointment on the same day. The salesman, Tim, was prompt and very courteous. He took his time explaining everything and the types of materials they have. I told him I would call him after I spoke to my husband. My husband and I agreed that the estimate was fair which included a $500 coupon that I did not have to inquire about. The crew was on time and finished the project within one day. They cleaned up after themselves and there was no problems. Throughout the entire process we were notified of when our materials were in needing to be delivered (along with the dumpster), financing, and the time the crew would arrive. I highly recommend Findlay Roofing!

Great job all around. On time and professional. They were the lowest bid I received and did everything perfectly. This is the first time I had a final walk thru a with a contractor and had no issues to correct. I would highly recommend them for your roofing and gutter needs.

The job could not have gone better. Should you choose to go with Findlay, I would highly recommend Steve Rubenstein to do the installation. Steve has been doing this for a long time and is knowledgeable and thorough. The regular windows took 2 days to install and the garden window took a half day by itself. The regular windows arrived in about a week, while the garden window was custom and took an additional 2 weeks to arrive. There were no surprises during the installation. Steve and his crew inspected all the framing as the old windows were taken out, looking for any rot that needed to be repaired (none, thankfully). Make sure you get the exterior framing wrapped, since that will seal the wood and eliminate any problems down the road. A couple of days after the installation, we noticed one pane with a slight chip and one screen with a very small tear (both appeared to be factory defects and not installation-related). A call to Steve got replacements ordered, which arrived in about a week. Steve let me know when they were in and he came the next Saturday to install them (in 15 minutes). We are completely satisfied with Findlay's performance on this job. We will next work with them to replace our front door, sidelights and large palladium window in a couple of months. I will offer up bother review after that's done. These folks are knowledgeable, thorough, fair and very good.

They had replaced my gutters the year before. Good job done so I called them for estimates. They were on time and professional. The estimate was good. they were on time for the work and the work was good.

They were very good. Everything went just as I expected like the price and the timeliness. They arrived on time. They cleaned up after themselves after the work was completed. They did an excellent job. They are an A company. They are listed with business bureau. They are a top company. The insurance gave me three companies and they were one of them. Out of the three, their price was the highest. I had three companies come out and the other two didn't even give me the written estimate. They didn't give me a timetable and everything was a word of mouth. I need everything in writing.

The crew showed up on time and ready to work. The job could not have gone better - there were no surprises, the cleanup was ongoing while the roofing job was being completed and they left my property just as they found it. They are a professional company and I heartily recommend them. They may not be the least expensive, but I'm a firm believer in paying for experience and performance.

The job went just as expected. The new cap was installed to my satisfaction and looks great. We have had several multi-inch deluges since the cap was installed with no sign of a leak. I can recommend Findlay with absolutely no reservation.
