The reason I did not proceed with them is that they were not knowledgeable. They at first said that they didn't do the job that I was hiring for and they had to check with someone else, his window guy. He was inexperienced and didn't give correct information. I did not have confidence and because of that I did not have the confidence in the way he measures the windows and he also did not recognize the manufacturer of the windows where the other two companies immediately knew who produces those windows. So overall he just didn't present for me to feel confident.

The work team is very professional, polite, careful of your property, and makes sure everything is cleaned up afterwards. They have also been quick to respond to the few service questions we have had.

Both the Mrs. and I were very impressed with Joe. We have had already 4 other quotes from other contractors. Compared to others, Joe's visit was a relief! We felt no hype or pressure. He was courteous, helpful and most of all, honest. He was the first to give us the quote while in our home. We were amazed that a Simonton window that Joe offered us was the same window that was quoted by two other companies at a higher price by 40% and 50%. Shortly after Joe left our home, we cancelled our 6th appt., knowing we would contract with his company. After contracting with Joe, we kept up to date by phone and e-mail. Joe, Danny and crew arrived the day promised. It was good to see a good American crew. From start to finish, they were clean cut, courteous, efficient and very professional. A real joy to have them working on our home. I have reviewed the other quotes in comparison with Joe's and calculated a savings of approx. $5000. Over all, this was the best experience we ever had. They were prompt, came with everything needed, worked efficiently and SAFELY to complete the project with minimum disturbance.  Job sit was very clean during and after completion.  They took time to ensure that we knew how to operate the windows for easy cleaning.  They were VERY professional and were pleasant to have in our home.  I highly recommend this contractor.

Joe came out and gave us an estimate sometime in June.  After getting a few quotes from different window companies, we decided to hire Joe.  He promptly brought another contractor, Danny, to thoroughly walk thru the house with us, took measurement and explained the work to us.  It took about 2 weeks to order the window.  At first, one of the window was broken when it arrived, so we ended up had to wait for another week or so for the replacement window.  After then, it only took them two and a half days to complete the work.  The results look good and the windows have lifetime warranty.  We are very satisfied with this experience.

Joe showed up for the estimate and the work on time. His estimate was the lowest and was the actual cost. The work was done while I was at work. The area was cleaned up and the work done very well.

The job went very smoothly with no issues. Joe did ehat he said he would do and as is his practice, payment was not due until the job was done.

I think that they are extremely professional. Their method of quoting, and their customer contact is excellent. They arrived on time, they did the job quickly, and professionally. They cleaned up beautifully and the price was extremely good. I am really happy with their service, and I would definitely recommend them to anybody. This is the third house where I have put in the energy efficient windows, and these are the only people I would recommend. They are the best people that I have got from Angie’s List.

Had CRSI replace my siding with fiber cement siding; they had already installed my Simonton energy efficient windows. Did a great job . Also had them replace all of the overhangs with vinyl. Couldn't have asked for a more efficient crew. They worked seamlessly around my kids and dogs running around the yard (sorry about that!).n

I had heard about CRSI through a neighbor, who had nothing but praise for Joe and his crew. I had made an appointment with Joe Tichenor, the owner, for an estimate. Joe arrived as scheduled and he sent me the estimate the same day. We arranged to have the windows replaced about a week later. Joe and his crew were punctual; they removed all of my old windows and replaced them with my new energy efficient Simonton windows. I couldn't believe how quickly the crew had installed them and cleaned up the old windows, which they took with them (a plus!). I could not be happier with the service I received and my new beautiful windows. It was so refreshing to deal with the owner directly. Joe was available for all of my questions. WOW we can't say enough about CRSI, Joe & crew. Everything from the look of the windows to the energy savings, this company delivered it all. We had several companies come out to give us estimates. CRSI may not have been the cheapest, however we looked at it as "you only get what you pay for" and we did not want to replace our new windows any time soon because someone else was cheaper or used an inferior product. Joe was prompt and very professional. He walked us through every step of the process. Crew was OUTSTANDING in every aspect from start to finish. We recommend CRSI to anyone who is looking for quality windows & workmanship.

I was thrilled! This company was recommended to me by a friend of mine.  Compared to what we had prior, these windows work great. Joe was very reliable, showed up on time, and the entire job was done within one day. Their price was definitely good; he was several thousand dollars cheaper than other companies that I had researched. I feel like we got as good of a window as the other companies, too. The only issue was that I didn’t understand that there would be a white trim on the outdoor of the windows; I thought it’d be more of a neutral color but other than that, everything was great. The windows have been easy to clean and the screens have been easy to change. I’m happy with the service and I would recommend them.

The actual owner was hand in hand working with his crew; he did a lot of the trim work. Something that made it really nice, too, was that he made sure he and his crew had cleaned up and gone prior to my wife getting there. That way we didn't have to worry about the sound, the mess, any of that. Joe is very trustworthy.

I liked, again, that the actual owner of the company came out. Very prompt. They tarped everything, it was very neat and clean. I would highly recommend using them for anybody that's got something like this going on. Best prices in town, they outbid everybody else by about 5%.

I got 4 estimamtes and his prices the prices were the best and his work was excellent. I liked everything about them. They were fantastic. They were punctual and the price that they charged did not differ from the estimate that they gave. After they left there was no evidence that they were here, except that I had new windows. They cleaned up after themselves. I recommended them to my son as well. At the time they were a family owned company.

They didn’t ask for any money up front; we paid them when the job was done to our statisfaction. There was a minor problem with the windows and they were swapped them right out without any problems. They were well within the estimates I receive from other companies. They were on time and meticulous. I was thrilled with these painters and they did an excellent job. The main guy that does the actual painting work has been with this company for 10 years so they don’t subcontract the work. We were we very pleased with the outcome of the project. Joe responded to my Internet request for quote very quickly, within a few hours, and we scheduled an appointment to look at my existing windows and prepare a quote. During the appointment, he measured all my windows, explained replacement options, and made suggestions. I had a total of three quotes for this work, and Joe's technical information on the vinyl replacement windows matched what the other two companies told me. The amount he quoted was in the middle (almost exactly) of the other two quotes. I chose CRSI because the price was reasonable and they had a much higher rating for quality than the lowest quote. The lowest quote was from a national company, and the highest was from a local company. The windows were ordered, and they arrived within the time frame that Joe quoted. When they were installed, Joe's crew (headed by Danny) was polite and professional, and they completed the install very quickly. One item stands out in a positive way. I have a box-type window frame over the kitchen sink, that extends away from the rest of the house about 9 inches, to give a little shelf within the window frame on the inside. Rather than just put new trim immediately around the window in this box, one of Danny's crew encased the entire box in vinyl-clad aluminum. It looks great, and is now maintenance-free. In fact, all the trim work was done very well. Joe was great to deal with, and Danny and crew did a wonderful job installing the new windows. I had a good experience start to finish, and I would recommend them.

After speaking with and obtaining quotes from four different contractors, we decided to hire Joe (CRSI) for the work detailed above. When he met us for the estimate, he was easy to get along with had some great suggestions for us, not trying to sell us the most expensive product. He was very knowledgeable, and his estimate was accurate to the penny. Joe and his crew were prompt for all appointments and installations, and the work was exceptional. We will keep CRSI and Joe Tichenor on our short list to call for future projects involving windows and siding.
