Long story short, here's what happened: The good: - The 3 movers were nice, very polite. The bad (in order): - We were given a 9:30-11:30 delivery window, which they missed by over an hour. - 3DP customer service claimed someone called me to tell me the window had been moved up to 11:30-1:30, which was a lie. - When the movers finally did show and begin working, they damaged our hardwood floors and our walls in the moving process - and not just light paint swipes, but a dry-wall gash in one spot. - The new refrigerator was completely dented and scratched in the front on every door and drawer, and the plastic footing below broken and destroyed. This is due to the fact that they did not want to remove any of the doors or drawers in moving it - which would have probably saved us from the house damage as well, as the fridge would have been thinner and lighter for moving. - In their haste to leave (they were now hours behind on their day), they only partly screwed in the door handles, leaving them loose. They also put them on before taking off the plastic. And they took what appears to be a custom-sized hex screwdriver with them, so we can't take off the handles to remove the plastic, or even just tighten them. - They left the fridge without a functioning water line for water and ice, so we had to move the fridge ourselves after they left to investigate and fix the problem. - In waiting for a new fridge with new replacement parts, 3DP completely missed the next delivery window. No calls from the company until 30 minutes after the window ended and they seemed surprised when I replied that, no, the delivery guys had not come or even called at any point during the day. We now have a fourth delivery window auto-scheduled, mid-day on a workday. It goes without saying, but this has been one of the worst consumer purchase decisions we've ever made. Lowe's has been understanding, and they're the only ones we can directly deal with, since 3DP has no real stake in our situation: we're not paying them directly, and they have no real reason to care. So we thought at the very least we should have a negative review up on AL, and a report to the BBB, to make others aware: this is what you get with Lowe's, and with 3DP. Go to your local small businesses instead. You might pay a premium but you'll likely get WAY better service.
