This is the most professional team of contractors with whom I have ever worked. But, I am still having trouble finding the right words to describe the entire T&J Exteriors team. No installation goes 100% smooth. We had rain delays, and I didn't like the look of a metal diverter on the roof for the gutter system, and couple of pickets looked kinda off. The difference between an okay contractor and a fabulous contractor is how they take care of the customer when the bumps happen. These guys always made up for the rain delays with putting in a few extra hours instead of cutting corners. The metal diverter was in the right place for the right purpose, it was me that didn't like the look. And the pickets? They were checked and fixed immediately. This will be the team I call on for future remodeling projects!

I had already received a couple other estimates prior to T&J Exteriors and was attempting an "apples-to-apples" comparison. However, Tracy was the first and only one that actually listened to what I was looking for before he began his estimating. That, in itself, was a refreshing change and gave me peace of mind from the get go. He was also the only one who recognized ongoing problems with a leak and runoff and provided a logical remedy to resolve the problems. Tracy, and his son Jake, took time to discuss all aspects of the job scope and even helped when I solicited their advice on shingle color. They worked the project into my schedule rather than pressuring me into theirs even though the heat and rain in the weather forecast was not in their favor. It was a one-day install and clean up. The roofing install team that has been working with Tracy for over 15 years were true professionals, in their work and demeanor. I was introduced to every team member and the team leader. Each time I walked out of the house to take a look at the work or just to pick up mail, I was greeted courteously. I noted that the team was continuously cleaning up as they moved along in the job rather than leaving it for a rush clean-up at the end of the day. I also noted that in each element of the job, the entire team noticeably showed pride in their final product. Although Tracy and Jake were busy out running the rest of the business, they checked in with me and their team throughout the day by phone or in person. At the end of the day we completed a walk-thru. This was not only to check my satisfaction, but to check the quality of work personally. This is a testament to the great quality work provided by T&J Exteriors. I will, indeed, use them on future projects and recommend them highly.

Having moved from Huntsville, Al. and looking for someone to do some home remodeling, I did as much research as I could, saw T & J Exteriors, inc. in the yellow pages and checked them out with the BBB. They had an A+ plus rating and no complaints.I gave them a call and what started out as a an estimate for a roof repair and new roof, ended up in the work stated above. Tracy never pressured us into any of the other work, just let us know that if and when we wanted to do the work, he would give us an estimate and provide references as well. He never asked for any money up front and we would only pay after the work was completed and we were completely satisfied. All work was guarenteed.The more we worked with Tracy and his son Jake, the more we knew that when they said they would do something, they meant it.They were always on time and if there ever was going to be a problem Tracy would call ahead and let us know.If I had a question, I never had a problem getting in contact with Tracy, he either answered my call right away or returned my call within the hour or less. Any concerns were addressed right away and taken care of. We had problems with the siding, a product defect,nothing to do with his work.After replacing the siding and still having the same problem, he upgraded our siding without any additional cost to us! Tracy always kept us updated and even after the work was completed has called periodically just to make sure everything is okay! The best thing I can say about Tracy and Jake is that they are two of the most honest people I know.If they say they're going to something they will. We were completely satisfied with them and they will be the only company that we will ever use.

Outstanding. I received an email response within 24 hours of my inquiry. After several phone exchanges, Tracy and Jake were able to stop by to perform an estimate. They inspected my house after explanation of services requested. They then made sure we were in agreement as to services to be perfomed. An estimate was received the next day via phone followed by email. The work was completed within a week (a few rain delays involved). Account settlement was an easy transaction with Cyndi. I intend to use T and J again.

I had some roofing work done. It went great. It was a father and son. I liked them very much and would definitely use them again. They were very nice and enjoyable.

Estimate experience was excellent. Tracy Postin and son Jake are owner operators of their company - T & J Exteriors. Both handle sales, management of their work crews and are present on the job. Tracy has been in business over 17 years. The estimate was detailed, professional, and competitive. All Licenses and Insurance were in order and no fees are charged until the work is completed. Tracy has been prompt returning all my calls the same day, usually at the time of the call, or within an hour or two of my leaving a message. Also, we communicated details a few times by phone text message. To my knowledge T & J Exteriors has not previously been on Angie's list. I found T & J Exteriors by word of mouth. I really felt comfortable during the estimate with Tracy and Jake and their License, Insurance, and no fees till work is complete policy, but I also requested references. I checked all eight references that were provided and I made contact with all eight. When I identified myself as wanting to check on their experience with having work done by Tracy Postin and T & J Exteriors they all either took my call then or called me back, and I talked with all eight - two owned multiple properties and had had a lot of work done by T & J. All said they were pleased with T & J Exterior's work and all would recommend them highly. All said Tracy Postin does what he says he's going to do, and this is also my experience with T & J Exteriors. Windows were installed first. All were installed in a day. Very please with the workmanship and professionalism. Siding, soffit and fascia were next, and done in about 4 days. Gutters and gutter screens installed in about half a day. Again very professional, good clean-up every day, and the work is excellent - looks great. Deck work, painting, staining, and chimney-cover done last. All excellent. Painting and Staining done in a day. Chimney-cover built then brought in and installed a different day. Finishing up Tracy does a slow detailed inspection walk around the project with us to ensure all the little stuff is finished up just right - it is. My wife and I are very pleased with the work done by T & J Exteriors. We had 5 estimates; the other 4 were from companies rated highly on Angie's list. We know we got good value for the price. I highly recommend T & J Exteriors.
