Recliner Rescue

Complete rip-off and scam! Took my money and controller saying he would order a new controller. One hour later a check cashing company called me to verify the check. He never returned and kept my controller. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BRIAN THOMPSON!

Did very bad ,as none of our requirements were met and on top of it we were asked to pay the service charges of the visit $120. The money spent did not make  any sense .

The young man arrived on time, was very courteous and professional.  He performed the repair as touted and left the recliner in what seemed to be good working order.  He explained that, if any further work was needed, he would order the appropriate parts from Lazy Boy, as he performed warranty work for that company, and would return, crediting a portion of the money I paid him for the current visit.
Not too many days later, the recliner began to fail in new ways, so I contacted the number for Recliner Rescue the young man left with me.  After repeated attempts to contact Recliner Rescue (which apparently does business under various names) I have been unsuccessful in getting even a simple call-back.
Notes:

1. 1)  I paid the gentleman in cash, at his suggestions (a mistake, I know).
2. 2)  In my messages, I pleaded with Recliner Rescue to return my call, so I did not have to write a negative review.
3. 3)  The young man seems quite nice and professional.  I truly do dislike writing this review, but it is only fair to tell the truth.

After weeks of opportunity to follow up, I have heard nothing from Rescue Recliner, so I decided to follow through with this write-up.
