I am a senior citizen they scammed by NOT giving me the mattress I purchased. They gave me a bed that is SECOND HAND. I hope this helps the 70,000+ Angie's List customers in Atlanta to shop somewhere else.
Here's what happened:
I purchased a NEW mattress and box spring in November 2012. I moved into a small retirement apartment and didn't have the room to put the bed together until I had the floor space by moving all the boxes. I had been sleeping on the floor on a pallet. When I did put the bed together it was late and I was tired and just wanted to sleep in my "NEW BED". I did not look at any tags on the mattress - why would I?
Immediately after I laid down I noticed the mattress was lumpy and bumpy and I thought "This can't be the mattress I chose", but I gave it a few nights to make sure. After the third night I realized something was wrong. When I called the Owner - Alan Lasky, Sr. - he asked me what brand it is and told me to look at the tag. THAT'S the first time I knew I had a USED MATTRESS! The yellow tag clearly says "SECOND HAND". I immediately felt like throwing up! I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY A USED MATTRESS - not with the bed bug epidemic that's been all over the news. I made several calls to Mr. Lasky and his son and they both told me - how generous of them - especially since I moved about 30 miles away from their store - that I could come and pick another mattress but might have to pay more money! They both became more and more obnoxious and even had the nerve to tell me I shouldn't have waited to put the bed together. As if that would magically turn the mattress into a new one!
I will never set foot in their store again and recommend you look any where else for your bedding needs. Their PRICES aren't even that good for a "discount" mattress store. After this horrible experience. I checked them out online and found them on a "scam", "ripoff" website showing they've done this same exact thing before.
Don't you make the same mistake - they're unethical and don't even have the good grace to pretend to apologize.
They also rent PENSKE TRUCKS. Don't deal with them for that either. They are a horrible business - stay away!!!

"We have invited this customer to our store several times. We will be more than happy to warranty their mattress if there is an issue. We stand behind our products 100%. Full customer satisfaction is our goal. Mattresses and More will come to the member's residence at her conveniance and bring a refund check for the mattress, boxspring, and bedframe in the amount of $279.84 which is the full amount she paid for her mattress, boxspring, and bedframe. The delivery crew will take the mattress, boxspring, and bedframe back as returns. There will be no restocking fee or delivery fees charged. This will all be waived to help expedite the return process so that the member's problem can be resolved in full with no further expense to her at all. All the member needs to do is call and schedule the date and time that fits her needs. We are more than happy to come out anytime Monday through Saturday within our business hours. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and feel that by taking back her items purchased and giving this customer a full refund as well as offer a free pick up at her residence this is the most we can offer as a business.
