The service provider was great! They came in a timely manner and offered a great price for the work done. I got quotes from several other roof companies that charged much more and wanted to replace the roof instead of doing the repairs I asked for. They were able to come around my busy work schedule to quote the work and perform the work without me having to be there. They provided good documentation of the work done and the certification of the workmanship. This company was able to perform the work I needed done in a timely manner and at a great price! I would highly recommend this company.

If there were a rating above A, this company would deserve it. I needed to replace the leaky, worn-out roof of an investment property I had recently purchased. Tom Scribbins, owner of Accent Roofing, came to the house and walked the roof to determine what was required. He was pleasant and professional, answered all my questions and explained all options at length so that I knew exactly what was needed and what choices I had. He did everything listed above for a price which was $900 lower than any other bid from Angie's List (and one non-Angie's List) roofers, AND his bid included both the edge metal installation and unlimited replacement of any rotted decking that might be found, which were items not included by other bidders. Although they were delayed a couple of days because of weather, I was kept informed so that I knew what was happening. The crew, headed by a very pleasant guy named Jaime, were possibly the nicest and hardest working group I have ever encountered. Most of the job was completed the first day, but they came back the next morning (a Saturday) to finish the work and clean up, and were done before noon. They even allowed me to use their dumpster to dispose of some construction debris we had in the garage, for which I was grateful. Deserving of special mention is the amazing Dee from the company's office, a great communicator, who went above and beyond the call of duty by tracking down the addresses of recently installed roofs in my area with the shingle colors I was interested in so that I could see how they actually looked on homes. When she couldn't locate an example that their company had installed, she found ones installed by other builders! For me, this was tremendously helpful in choosing the shingle color. The finished roof is just beautiful. I recommend Accent Roofing Service "The Leaksmith" without reservation.

We wanted to get three bids on the job. Because both myself and my husband work outside the home we needed someone who was willing to come on a weekend or in the evening. One of the companies from Angie's list specifically said they only have certain hours that they give bids and would not come in the evening. When I also explained that we needed some extra repairs done I was told they don't handle that. Accent Roofing was more than happy to make an evening appointment during the week. We made a 7 PM appointment with the owner, Tom Scribbins. On the day of the appointment he was late so we followed up with a phone call. Turned out the office made a mistake and never informed him of the appointment but his wife called us to apologize and let us know that he had just gotten home and he was turning around and leaving to come by us. We were very impressed! He was very nice and we never felt rushed even though it was an evening appointment. After looking around out side with my husband, he came in to discuss the job. He listen to all our concerns and we were very happy to hear that he was able to perform the extra repairs we needed. He wrote up a very detailed proposal and went through each item with us answering any questions we had, gave us multiple discounts, explained the job and what would be happening from start to finish and we arrived at a final price. His price was more than $3000 below one of our bids! 10 days after we signed the paperwork his crew led by his son Philip did the work and we had a brand-new roof. Can't say enough about the customer service, every time he said something would be happening it did. From the day of dropping off the debris bin, coming the next day to do the work, and coming the appointed day to remove the debris bin. The work was performed on Saturday and except for seeing the new roof you would never have known they were there they cleaned everything up! Philip Scribbins, his son who also will be taking over, came on Sunday to go over the job with us and make sure we were completely happy. I would highly recommend this company we were extremely happy with how we were treated as customers and the job that was performed.

We contacted Mr. Tom Scribbins 2 months back to remove and replace our badly damaged and leaking tile roof. He gave us an estimate and scheduled the work for the middle of March. The work was started on time and completed without any problems promptly. We are very happy with the work done by Mr.Scribbins ( Accent Roofing Service "The Leaksmith" ) and his crew. Mr. Scribbins was very prompt and the work was done in a record time of four days.This is a roof of about 85 Squares and involed removing the concrete tiles and preparing the decks and installing shingles. We were a little bit concerned about the whole project and very glad that everything went OK because of Mr. Scribbins's planning and execution. Tom and his crew were very helpful and responded promptly to our questions and concerns. We recommend Mr.Tom Scribbins ( Accent Roofing Service, "The Leaksmith" ) without any hesitation. He is an excellent roofer.

Tom was a professional and knew what he was talking about. Instead of convincing me that I needed to spend thousands to repair my roof, as others had said, he explained what minor work could be done and how I could do it myself. A new experience -- someone unwilling to make a sale that, in fact, wasn't necessary.

Worked with owner Tom who was excellent. He was great to work with and explain each detail of the work to be conducted and what purpose it served. We walked through my housing inspection in addition to looking at the roof in its present condition to better inform the conversation. He worked with me on the price, applying the Angie's List coupon and extending the warranty on the roof. During this difficult time after several snow storms and hard rains, their schedule was backed up. Despite this, they worked quite well to get the job done and left a quality product. I'm very happy with their work and would gladly refer them to others for roofing needs or consultation.

Informed by phone in timely manner of slightly delayed arrival. Provide estimate and explained each item indicating that only the roof leak naturally was the only item urgent.

We have already used this provider on two separate occasions. The first one being the above mention one, and the second one was after a storm which had caused a bit of roof damage on 2/10/14. We had 2 missing shingles that needed to be replaced, and 1 bent one. the gutter was also sealed. Cost for this was 150.00 We were very satisfied with the service provided. Arrived on time and very professional. We will definitely use, and highly recommend this company.

Appeared to be honest, not trying to run up the bill in any way. As far as I can tell, the repairs appear to have been well done.

I had called several roofers that I found on Angie's List. Only two called me back. Tom came and gave me an estimate soon after I had called. He was up front with me about every detail and made good on what he said. When there was a misstep on communications, he made good by coming the very next day to fix the leak.

From the very beginning, Mr. Scrubbins was great. He responded quickly with an estimate. I was put on the schedule to begin the job in four weeks - I received a call and they were able to move me up two weeks. When the crew arrived (on time), they began the job with amazing percision. They were very careful and mindful of my home, plants and outdoor furniture. All of them were very polite and professional. The job took 1 1/2 days as quoted. The clean-up was quick and thorough. I would definitely recommend Accent Roofing to anyone - I am very pleased all around with their service.

Chose Accent based on Angies list rating and personal experience with their work on other houses in the neighborhood. Estimate was very reasonable and less than another estimate I had from another roofer even adding some other repairs needed to siding and chimney. Crew showed up promptly and worked hard to get old shingles stripped off and repairs made and new shingles installed all on the same day. Finished roof looks great and is now consistent with neighbors' houses. I upgraded to architectural shingle which really looks better. Tom Scribbens is easy to work with. Highly recommend.

The true test of a company's character is not when things go well, but how it responds when things do not go as planned. The almost daily out of season rains, a roof with a foundation in worse condition than expected and several other unpreventable mishaps made this particular job complicated and drawn out. Tom, the company owner, and several of his staff "kept up the good work" until the job was finished to our satisfaction. Additionally, he did not attempt to sell us something we did not need or make the job larger than necessary and kept to his original estimate when the job became more involved than original expected. Of course with a repair like this, time will be the true test, but the company has given a reasonable warranty. Tom came out and inspected the roof and gave me a good estimate and when I told him what the insurance company said he went to work for me and actually got with the insurance company and showed them actual measurements and the insurance company gave me more money to cover the cost of the roof. Due to the amount of rain we've had lately here in GA, Tom's crew was actually able to finish within 2 days without it raining and interfering with the job and when they got done with the job it started raining to test the roof and all was good. Great job on clean up. Great price, great look, and Tom was great to work with.

From inspection to insurance to repair they made the process extremely easy. They charged a fair rate and I will use them again in the future.

All was concluded in one day from initial phone appointment in the morning to completion of the repair by Troy in the early evening. Tom the owner called more than once to notify he was running a little late to quote the repair. He was very professional and friendly as was Troy who did the repair. Tom was very professional and did a great job. We needed some work done on a house we were closing on in order to get financing for the house and homeowners insurance, and he worked quickly to do what we needed. After we closed on the house, we had him complete a full replacement of our old shingles with architectural 50-yr shingles, and, once again, the work was done very quickly and very well! We were extremely pleased! Our roof looks fantastic!

From start to finish they were professional. Accent Roofing had incredible reviews and they lived up to it. The one thing that won me over and decided to go with Accent Roofing was choices. When Tom came and gave me a quote he gave me options and he was completely honest.

From start to finish this was an outstanding experience. It was my desire to go with a local, family owned business with only one or two established and dependable work crews. I used Angie's List for my search. While Accent didn't have a lot of reviews, the reviews given indicated these guys were good. I contacted Accent and the owner, Tom Scribbins, came out and personally provided my estimate. His estimate beat out the others by a long shot, was very reasonable and inclusive, and met my replacement cost provided by the insurance adjustor. Communication with Accent was outstanding, no surprises whatsoever. Rain resulted in the work being done a couple of days later than planned, but I anticipated that to occur. Materials and trash container arrived as scheduled, and the trash was picked up the next day after work was complete. Jaime and his crew arrived mid-morning after cleaning up a previous job and then worked until after sunset with expected and reasonable rest breaks. They finished up the next morning. These guys obviously knew exactly what they were doing across the board. Preparation and clean-up were stellar. Clean-up was a concern for me as I have two younger kids who love to be outside barefoot. The tarps collected 98% of the trash and nails while the rest was picked up by hand and a rolling magnet was used to find just about all the remaining nails. If I had a penny for every nail I found afterwards, I'd have about 10 cents. I did not expect that each and every nail would be found. The bottom line is that I really couldn't tell that the guys had been there at all, and my new roof looks great and like it was done by professionals. Tom sub-contracted the minor interior and exterior work, and both sub-contractors did a great job as well. I paid half at the start of work and the balance after the work was completed. The next day Dee in the front office contacted me for my claim number so she could fax in the completion letter to my insurance, so I could recover my depreciation amount. I highly recommend Accent Roofing Service, Inc., and have already forwarded their information to friends and neighbors of mine. Again, it was an outstanding experience.

We had water leaks in two different rooms and called Accent because they had done a nice job for a neighbor. They came out....inspected the roof....took pictures of the two room ceilings that were affected and then helped us with contacting our insurance man. It was determined that we had wind damage in a few places that had definitely caused the leaks so we decided to get the work done as soon as they were available. They arrived promptly.....did their work swiftly and upon leaving cleaned up to where one could never tell we had just had our roof replaced. We love the look of the new architectural shingles....has greatly improved the look of the house. Have had many compliments.......
