I could not more pleased with the high level of professionalism, knowledge, and follow through of Accent Roofing, and Phillips Scribbins. I knew that I had roof damage that needed repair. As a woman, I was very concerned about being scammed. There are a number of unscrupulous people who think nothing of defrauding women. When Phillip came out he toured my roof, and met with my insurance adjuster. He represented my interests very well. The process was NOT the nightmare that I feared. His word is his bond, and he can be trusted. When I left for work last Thursday morning around 7:00 a.m. workers were already at my home, ready to go. I received a text message from Phillip a little after 2:00 p.m. to let me know that the job had been completed. He met me at my home that evening, and I have a beautiful, new roof. I am so thankful that I came across Phillip Scribbins and Accent Roofing. I highly recommend him and his company.

From the first phone conversation with Phillip I could tell he was very knowledgeable and dedicated to what he does for a living. Whether by email or phone, he always replied to any questions or concerns we might have. Since our roof is so steep, I was concerned about the safety of the men that would be working on the roof and he reassured me that it was always upmost in his mind as well and that the men would be wearing safety rigging. He was also aware of the weather that day and did the roof one area at a time should a small shower pop up. The office called me the day before to confirm the time the crew would be at our home and we received a list of things to expect on the day the roof was put on. We also received pictures of the whole process via email which was a great bonus. Accent Roofing is very thorough, thinks of their clients and their needs and very easy to work with. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

The gentleman came and repaired our roof promptly. We have not had any problems with our roof since the patch. I guess it is one of those situations where you wished you didn't need their services but you're glad you've found someone you trust that can take care of a problem for you.

Went very well. Great guy who came on time. He found and fixed the problem and explained what caused the odd looking shingle. He checked the rest of the roof. I was very pleased with his assessment of the roof including the remaining life as well as his suggestions on how to cool down the attic. What would and would not work well - the pro's and cons. And recommendations on when to do it. No pressure sell and a very balanced, knowledgeable assessment. I was so impressed that I will likely use them when I do go and replace the roof. A+

My insurance provider was covering the cost for a new roof. I had 4 companies come and provide an estimate of which only 2 said they would do the job at the price quoted by State Farm. The deciding factor in going with Accent Roofing was an easy one and it didn't come down to cost. Out of all the companies that came out Accent Roofing was the ONLY one that said there warranty would cover my skylight. When a company tells you replacing a skylight is not necessary but they won't cover the skylight if there is a leak it just doesn't make much business sense from a consumer standpoint. The two days after there work was complete we had a downpour of rain and I can happily say I no longer have a leak in my kitchen, and my home has a much needed upgrade.

Starting with my first call, I was impressed that the appointment window was one hour as opposed to other companies that make you wait on a technician for 4 - 6 hours. Jason Thomas came out to provide an estimate for shingle replacement and to provide an overall assessment of the condition of the roof. Jason called while he was in route and arrived as promised. I expected the worst. Other estimators recommended replacing the whole roof with a range of $4k to $8K. Jason told me that my roof had another 3 years on it and asked if I wanted him to service my roof that day. I was stunned. He happened to have a close match to my shingles on his truck and felt that he could knock out the repair quickly. I ran a quick errand and before I knew it, Jason called to let me know the work was done. I will definitely call on Accent Roofing the Leaksmith for my future roofing needs.

From start to finish these guys were professional as it gets. Troy from the outset was very hands on and ensured that we had all our questions answered. He assisted with the insurance company and made it all very smooth. The service on roof day was great as well, the roof looks great and the clean up was top notch. Everyone I spoke with was very customer oriented. Jason, who actually did the work, was great. He took pictures to show me the damage around my chimney. He was very personable, took the time to explain what was causing the problem and texted me the pictures so I could see what he had found. When I called to request the repairs be made, they scheduled me for the following day. Once again, Jason called me upon arrival to let me know he was here (I was at work). He told me how long he anticipated the job to take and when he was finished, he called me. He also texted me pictures of the chimney when he was finished. I am very pleased with the whole experience. It hasn't yet rained so I can't say the leak is taken care of but it appears to be (if not, I will review again with that scenerio).. I would highly recommend checking out this company.

I hired Accent Roofing to inspect the roof of a house that I am purchasing in intown Atlanta. Jason showed up a few minutes early, talked me through the condition and probable lifespan of the roof, and even made a few quick repairs to several cracked pipe collars that were at risk of allowing water to leak into the house. It was a small roofing job, but the price was reasonable and the service and attention to detail was excellent.

The problem was identified pretty quickly without the water hose I had on hand🙂. This company was very accomodating to my work schedule so the inspection was performed in the afternoon and I did not have to be home for the repair. The cost was far less than I expected. I will definitely recommend this company and use them in the future if needed.

The way the two "bosses", Troy and Les, handled this job was unbelievable! Their crew completed the roofing job in one day, and the chimney rebuilding the next day. They used top of the line materials, and did a fantastic professional job. And, the price for all that they did was VERY reasonable. It was a true pleasure to be able to work with Troy and Les, not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well. I would HIGHLY recommend their company to anyone who needs roofing work done.

Phillip and team did a great job all around! They are true professionals starting from the initial call to the final clean up of the job site. Phillip took his time to understand our needs and was extremely thorough with his quote. He even came back to meet with the insurance adjuster, which was key to ensure that we were able to get fully compensated for the wind damage which allowed us to replace the entire roof. The work crew started and finished on time as promised. They were extremely professional and careful to clean up along the way. They even went around the house 3 times with magnets to ensure that all nails and extra materials were picked up. I contacted 6 roofers with high ratings on Angie's list and chose Accent. Their price was in the middle of all the bids and their customer service and warranty was best around! It was the right choice and we would highly recommend Phillip and team to anyone.

It went very well. A routine inspection for a wet spot in my bathroom ceiling revealed that there was a leak around the vent in the roof. Unfortunately, the roof was irreparable and Tom Scribbins indicated that there was significant storm damage. He recommended that we call my insurance agent, and that one of his people be there to assist the appraiser in identifying the damage he observed. His son, Philip, met with State Farm and they did find enough damage to justify full replacement of my roof. Philip also agreed to replace the roof for whatever State Farm covered minus my deductible and in addition bring the current structure up to code even if that was not covered by State Farm. The work took a single day with no new leaks observed. I am very happy with their work and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work in the Atlanta area.

Due to poor installation by the builder, large sections of our 6-year-old roof are sliding down. We called several roofing companies and they all wanted us to do a complete replacement, even though the shingles still have quite a bit of life left. Tom, the company owner, is the only one willing to do mechanical fastening to save us cost. We eventually decided to get a new roof but we really appreciated his sincerity and professionalism. Their price came in about $2000 less than other big name companies. Another reason we selected them was that instead of using roll-up dumpsters, they use a trailer to haul away debris, which prevents damaging our driveway. It took about a week to get our project scheduled. While we were waiting, they patched missing shingles & saved us from pouring rain the next day. On the project day they started around 7:00 AM. About 7 or 8 guys came and worked very efficiently. The entire project was done by 6:30 PM. During the work there were debris all over my yard. I was worried there would be a big mess left for me to clean. To my surprise, they picked up everything and really cleaned up well. We could not find even a single nail. It's like they were never here - except of course we now have this beautiful new roof! They gave a 10-year labor warranty. Also provided material and labor lien waiver - this is important as you don't have to worry about their suppliers or subcontractors could later put a mechanic lien on your property if they didn't get paid. Overall, we are extremely happy with Accent Roofing and have recommended them to our neighbors. Keep up the good work!
