Walmart Tire Lube Express

Called around 10:00, was told price for two tires and installation would be $119.00, 'plus tax' and I could get them put on that day. Arrived at around 12:15. Had to go inside to counter to get one piece of paper, take it back outside, give info to attendant, who goes back inside to get permission to put tires on front instead of back of car. Couldn't someone have done that while I was standing at the counter? Turned car over to attendant at 12:30. Walked around for about an hour, came back. Car sitting where I left it. Was told the attendant I met earlier was the only person working in Tire & Lube, and he was doing everything. Asked why they didn't either call in someone else or shut that department, got a blank look. Walked around another hour.  Car in bay. Twenty minutes later, car is done. Back to counter to pay. That's when the 'plus tax' kicked in. Tire disposal, lifetime balance, etc., on top of  actual taxes. Why not tell me up front, when I specifically asked? Good thing I had $150.00 on me. Love how quick they are with oil changes, but will go elsewhere for tires from now on.
