Jacobs & Son Concrete Contractors Corp.

We initially had high hopes when starting our project with Jacobs and Sons Concrete. Mrs. Jacobs was highly responsive and eager to finalize the agreement, even going so far as to personally collect our deposit the day the contract was signed. Sadly, things quickly went downhill after that. Delays were repeatedly attributed to weather and personal issues, which we initially understood. However, communication soon became non-existent, with emails and phone calls going unanswered. When the agreed-upon deadline was missed, Mrs. Jacobs eventually admitted to the delay and assured us that a refund would be mailed. That promise was made in July 2024. It is now February 2025, and despite multiple follow-ups, we have received no refund, only silence. This experience has left us feeling deeply disappointed and misled. Based on our interactions, I cannot recommend Jacobs and Sons Concrete to anyone. A business should be founded on trust and reliability, but this one has proven otherwise.

They were professional and friendly. They did a great job getting the old driveway up and hauled off and then pouring the new one. They did most of the work in two days and did a great job cleaning up. Would highly recommend them.

I can recommend Jacobs and Son Concrete Contractors without reservation. We had our old driveway replaced. They were experts in design and construction. Their work was superior from start to completion. Importantly, they did what they said they were going to do in a timely fashion. We would use them again in the future without hesitation.

Jacob and Sons did a great job with the repair and our driveway. Although it took some time before we could get them out to do the job, bad time of year between holidays and they had prior commitments to finish, they were easy to communicate with and very nice people. We have a difficult driveway and they split it up into 2 - 2-day work periods over two weeks, which allowed us to use parts of our drive way and prevented us from having to park out on the street (driveway is 1/8 mile long). I highly recommend them for any concrete work you might need.

The work was for drainage around the house. The future customer must check elevation and tree roots. If you do this ahead of time it will help. They did cover up my drainage for my gutters so now I have to take care of that.

I received four estimates, Jacobs & Son was several hundred dollars less than the second best estimate. Great job at a fair price.

Jacobs & Son A.H.E. Construction is a top shelf company and the work crews are very professional. They installed a concrete driveway and the install was excellent. If you need a new concrete driveway I would highly recommend this company.
