Spalding Concrete Company

We recently hired Spalding Concrete Company (and paid them in full) to install an asphalt driveway in November 2023. They did not pay the asphalt company (CW Matthews) whom they received the asphalt from. The amount Spalding still owes 3 months later in March 2024 is over $15000. CW Matthews hired an attorney and they placed a lien on our property for the unpaid amount due to them for the unpaid services/materials owed by Spalding Concrete. Spalding Concrete is also known by Dominion Capital Assets, D.B.A Spalding Concrete. How would you like to find out you are responsible for this amount of money which you have already paid, because Spalding Concrete has not fulfilled their financial obligation? They have not responded to e-mails or phone calls about this concern. Do not hire this company until you know they are paying their bills and they have resolved this matter, which has also been filed as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The contractor did not pay his vendor and now I am being held responsible by the vendor even when I paid in full.

They were great, reached out quickly and were able to give me a discount and get me in quickly. Really great company, really great product.

They did an excellent job. The paving looks great. Completed project in one day. They also took the time to do a thorough cleanup. The owner went over everything with me upon completion. We will be using this company when it comes time to seal the asphalt in the future. I highly recommend this company.

Very responsive and quality service

Had about 160 feet that needed ripping out because of roots under the current asphalt and did all that prep work in one day. Came back the next day and laid 16,000 sq ft of driveway and did a great job. Great hard working family and the others workers were great as well. Would highly recommend them and the price was good as well

I had a large job that included grading, adjusting for water run off, laying a solid base and paving almost 11k Sq ft. They did it all in two days and did an excellent job. They answered every one of my questions and even helped me with some of the design to make sure that everything would look great. I would highly recommend contacting Spalding Concrete Company for your next paving job. Their attention to detail and quality of work is second to none.

Very reliable, did a good job. We had an incident during the prep phase. My glass door was shattered when a piece of the old asphalt hit it while they were cleaning out the cracks. The owner's son was at the site and stopped what he was doing and immediately went to Lowes and ordered the exact door and brought me the receipt. When the door arrived they came and installed it free of charge. You can't ask for better customer service than that. I would definitely use them again.

We live at Lake Lanier with a fairly steep property from the street to the lake. When we have a heavy rain, it washes all of our mulch onto the driveway causing a cleaning headache. Spaulding had to build the new driveway with a tilt that directs the water between my property and my neighbor's. Riprap was installed on both sides of the driveway to keep mulch off of the driveway. The workmen from Spaulding arrived on time, were very professional, knew exactly what had to be accomplished in order to solve our water problem. The driveway looks beautiful, it was reasonably priced and will continue to solve our water problem for years to come.
