Hired them for overseeding and ended up using them for weed control.  They are great!

My lawn looks green and has no weeds. I had a great experience with King Green. I've used them for 7 years.

I utilize the team at King Green to handle all of my lawn care needs. The team at King Green does a fantastic job in keeping our lawn healthy at a very competitive price. The team does several treatments a year and I will continue to use them in the future.

I used King Green for about 1 1/2 years. They offer competitive pricing and results were ok. I had an incident whereby my new installed fence fence and cedar playset were both stained by the technician who lazily sprayed weed killer all over the place. King Green was able to clean up the fence, but the playset has permanent stains I'll have to try to correct myself. Additionally, the same technician burned parts of my lawn with poorly spread fertilizer. I asked that this technician not treat my lawn anymore, but 3 months later he was back. I subsequently discontinued service. Customer service is pleasant, but just too many issues with performance.

Will have to wait until spring to be certain but I can tell now they knocked out the crabgrass.

They did a good job. They were very professional, and I was pleased with what they did.

Have been using them for about 6 months now and definitely see an improvement in my grass and weed control.  After the first application, I called and asked them if they could notify me prior to future applications so we can keep our dog in the house to limit his exposure to the chemicals.  They have called the day before each time.  Everyone I have worked with there has exhibited great customer service and their prices are as good as I have found.

King Green came out and gave a price, I accepted and agreed to start the service.  Technician came out on schedule and on time, treated the yard.  Then I never saw or heard from them again.  I got what I paid for, just didn't get what I wanted. 

They did a good job and I will continue to use their services in future.

King Green has provided my lawn fertilization and insect control for several years and I have been extremely pleased.  I get many compliments on my yard (it was full of weeds when I moved in) and they have always been very responsive to my requests as well as very pleasant to work with.  My insect control has been wonderful.  Other than the very first application several years ago when they came in the house as well as treated outside, I have never needed them to re-treat inside although they ask every time.  I have been approached by other companies who may be  a little lower in cost but I have seen samples of some of the yards they treat and I will stay with King Green.  I highly recommend this company.  The people are great and their service is great.

We have a service contract with them. We don't really have any interaction with them. They show up and do the job. We don't have anything negative to say about them.

From start until now(still in progress) everything has been above board and done properly. No complaints.

We hired King Green because our previous lawn care provider had not done a good job.     Our front yard was spotty, and our backyard was very thin and didn't green well (we have bermuda in both).   When we hired King Green, we were told it would take a year and some effort to bring back the backyard.  While the front yard improved signficantly, the backyard didn't improve.  I was patient, but last year realized the trend was getting worse.  This year, it seems really bad (see photos).   I called King Green and was told a manager would come out.   Jennifer King, the Branch Manager, came out and told me we have a fungus, and there was evidence of current damage and past damage that was making the lawn look very bad.   I asked why after two years of service, what was clearly an ongoing problem was never identified until now when are lawn is nearly non-existent.  She indicated she had no answers and apologized several times and said it should have been identified.    She indicated the lawn would need a fungicide treatment at twice the price of the normal application and aeration/heavy fertilization.  Based on my negative experience, she said she would do the aeration at a discount...... $95 instead of the normal $115, a twenty dollar discount.   I am very displeased with King Green for basically ignoring the care of my lawn, resulting in being in terrible condition.  In addition, it was clear that they didn't care about my experience by making an insulting, minimal offer in return for their neglect.  This is not the way a customer service oriented company would work. To make things worse, we are in the process of listing our home, and our non-existent back yard will impact our ability to sell the home. I did call King Green to discuss my concerns and let them know I would be updating my Angies List review and cancelling, but the receptionist told me that Jennifer is the branch manager, and basically the ultimate authority.    I (politely) let her know I woudl follow through on the review, and she hung up on me.    The only reason I gave them a "D" instead of an "F" is that they have done a good job on the front yard.  Please review the attached photos, and understand that King Green has been responsible for my high quality Bermuda lawn for 2.5 years now.  I would think twice before using this company.

RE THE RESPONSE BELOW:     AFTER I FIRED KING GREEN, I HAD ESTIMATES FROM 4 BIDS FROM DIFFERENT COMPANIES TO TAKE OVER MY LAWN CARE.   ALL 4 COMPANIES SAID THERE WAS NO FUNGUS AT ALL, AND COULDN"T UNDERSTAND HOW ANYONE COULD SAY THERE WAS.    I HIRED WILLOUGHY LAWN, WHO APPLIED NO FUNGICIDE AND QUICKLY GOT MY LAWN BACK TO HEALTH (SEE REVIEW).   IT SEEMS POSSIBLE THAT THE FUNGUS DIAGNOSIS WAS A WAY TO GET REVENUE FROM AN EXTRA SERVICE.

Their service seems fine, but it's hard to tell because it can take three months to take effect.  They seem like any of the other companies.  I'm waiting to see what the lawn does.  We are supposed to have three treatments.  Their price seems standard.

King Green technicians came to my home and performed these services without disruption to my household. They were quick and quiet. This is very important considering I have small children that nap during the time they were at my home. They posted their lawn sign to indicate that they had treated my yard today in clear view and left my statement and newsletter in a convenient location, safely secured from the elements in a plastic bag. They even included an envelope to mail my payment, although I choose their online bill pay option, which is also a nice offering. I cannot wait until the Spring to see how their treatment has improved my lawn appearance. I really appreciate the referral from a friend who uses King Green for his lawn care needs. They have saved me a lot of time and grief knowing that I can trust my lawn care to the professionals at King Green.

This is our first year to use King Green's services. Already we can tell a difference. Our lawn has less weeds and thicker grass. After aerating and reseeding our back yard, the bare spots are filling in. We look forward to seeing a beautiful green lawn in the spring. We had used a previous service for 5 years without the results we see today

They were very pleasant, do a great job, and answered all of our questions.

They do a great job. A few times I have had a crop of violets come up....all I do is call and they come out. I love the annual plan they do so you pay once and the lawn looks great all year. It has been a very hot summer and the fecue has suffered burn....we will be overseeding for sure this year. Everyone is nice when you call and they really do care. A friend recommended them to me and I am glad he did.

It was $23 per application but the first one was free and they charged around $40 for the second application. They were not able to come out immediately when I called them. The gentleman that I spoke to was incredibly helpful. He gave me all kinds of information about the problem until they could come out. That was like in the middle of the week. Then somebody came out on Monday to see what the situation was and he was really nice. Then they did the first weed treatment and then the next treatment in the next week. Everything about them was excellent. They were very polite and extremely helpful. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

We had been customers of King Green for several years and have always been very happy with their service. Last year we received an offer from one of their competitors that was hard to refuse. We gave that company a try but was dissatisfied with the results--weeds popped up even after treatment and our lawn did not look good. This year we returned as King Green customers and are delighted with the way our lawn looks. They offer great customer service and always aim to please their customers.

The first application is free and I like that fact. I still have insects but it?s an older house.
