Montpelier Tree Service was founded in 2000, as a sister company to Montpelier Timber, to help maintain beautiful, healthy trees and protect people and their properties from dangerous, dead trees. We have an excellent crew of arborists, who have all worked with Montpelier Tree Service for eight years or longer. Our professional tree surgeons are trustworthy, hard working, and truly enjoy tree work. Because safety is always our top priority, our tree removal crew undergoes rigorous training and has logged thousands of hours of experience. Montpelier Tree Service is fully licensed and insured.

I have never had to hire a tree service company but after reading the google reviews I thought I would give them a try and Iâ m so glad I did! I called two other companies before calling Montpelier because Iâ ve always been a fan of getting three quotes. Well the other two companies were wishy washy on when they could come for the estimate but Montpelier came that day! The quote was inline with my budget and they came out today cut down two trees and cleaned up after the job was done. The neat thing to me was that the owner came and he was also helping the guys clean up! I couldnâ t be happier!!!!

Dropped 6 trees with precision. Excellent clean up. Stumps ground. Kip Smith provided great customer service. Saved $700 over nearest competitor. Plan to hire them for 3 or 4 more trees in the Spring.

Called them about 9:30 a.m, Donny came out about an hour later and looked at project. By about mid afternoon he had his crew out and shortly after they had removed a large dead pine and a dead magnolia tree and a dangerous oak limb. All at a very reasonable price! Couldnâ t ask for a better experience!

Hired them to cut down 2 trees. Damaged my yard, spilled oil everywhere on the driveway, and on curbs. They knew the equipment was faulty as they drove thru the oil spreading it further over the property. They left and did not say anything about damages. Called back many times to get them to pick up a giant pile of debris left in the yard. 2 weeks later they finally pick up the debris and attempted to the ONLY clean the driveway. Spots still all over the driveway. Had to reseed almost the entire front yard where they worked. I hired a team to clean the driveway they told me all spots will not come out, the driveway will need to be redone. This is very disappointing because I have hired them before and they did amazing work. Not this time. Do not recommend them for any tree removal due to their carelessness and damage to property.

"The supervisor for the crew on the job agreed to cut trees and stump and we did, we cleaned it up and some pecans fell while going over the driveway and the tractor created a stain and we knew it and we went back to clean it up, we did exactly what we were supposed to do. We pressured wash the stain and he has not paid me a dime, He asked for wood chips to be removed and it is not standard practice, we only do it if they pay extra and all tree services do this. We went and cleaned shavings up trying to appease the guy and we tried to met with him and he said he has nothing to say to us, I have text saying he will talk to his attorney. 5 times."

They worked very hard and did everything I asked and then some. I couldn't ask for a better price or harder working group of guys. The owner checked in several times every day to make sure we were all on the same page. I had @40 trees removed and the stumps ground all in about 3 days. I would definitely recommend them.

If you want a company that will finish what it starts don't hire this one. Damaged my sprinkler system and left the job undone. Horrible liars and not to be trusted.

"We cut a tree for this lady and she asked if we could grind the stump. We did she did not tell us was that there was an irrigation valve under the tree root. So, we hit the valve we knew we had hit the valve and called the sprinkler guy in front of the customer at this point all I can do is rely on the sprinkler guy for the repair was over our heads. It took the guy two weeks to come but he did fix it. This lady wrote this review the first day after we finished. But we did what we said anyway!"

We have a tree over 300 years old with a circumference of 17-1/2 feet. The tree is in the "L" area of our home, less the 10 feet from the inside corner of the house. We're trying to save the tree after years of neglect. Donnie qouted a price to remove 3 limbs hanging over the house. He drastically under priced the scope of work, but stuck to his price. Donnie's crew did an excellent job, thank you.

Expensive but worth it, especially for complicated tree removal. Had huge oaks and hickory trees, some touching the roof. No access for a bucket truck so all had to be climbed and rigged with rope. All 11 trees removed carefully and expertly. Stumps ground, all debris removed and cleaned up.

They arrived promptly at the time scheduled. They removed 3 large trees in less than 3 hours. They cleaned up all of the debris and even cleaned the leaves off of my driveway. They left my yard cleaner than they found it. I would recommend their services to anyone.
