They checked both including wood and shingles and nailed down any nails.

This is the second time we have used Matt's Roofing & Gutters Inc., so we'll be sticking with them. I felt that they did a good job and showed up when they said they would. Their price seemed reasonable. Our roof has got some years on it, and I knew that Matt's Roofing did patching and weren't going to try to sell us a new roof. They have a lady who answers the phone who is very prompt. She returns calls - we did some scheduling because it was important for me to be here, and she took the time to make some follow-up calls for when that was going to work out. She took the time to just confirm an appointment, but they are conscientious enough to make sure everything was alright to go, so I thought that was just fine. I think we've had a couple of different people come out to the house, but they seem to be fine.

The quotation and scheduling process was very professional. The quote was provided and scheduled for a couple of weeks later. The first morning no one came. I called only to find out that they had run into some trouble on another project and would need to reschedule to Thursday of that week between 9 and 10. Ten O'clock came and went and at about 10:45 they called to unfortunately let me know that it would need to be Friday. One person arrived to do the work on Friday morning. Dustin was excellent. He communicated well, let us know what he was doing, and provided some recommendations on other repairs that we needed to be aware of. The quoted work was completed and we were very happy with the results. We have recommended Matt's to a couple of friends, but unfortunately qualified the comments with the issues in scheduling. A couple of exercise classes were cancelled due to the changes. I would use Matt's again due to the professionalism and workmanship tied to the work.

Matt took care to work with me to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. Questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner and I am confident that the new roof will last a long time.
There was a lot of extra work done due to hidden rot on the facia boards, and the estimates given for repair were very close to the final bill.  

He is very nice and gave us a quote right away. He responded immediately and supplied great followup. He was very good. My husband thought the price was very reasonable for new, bigger gutters. The fellow who came out was excellent. He was clean-cut, very respectful, very prompt, seemed to be dependable. We are planning on using them.

We decided not to address the problem at this time, as it was not urgent.  Mat called several times to check on our decision.  He could not have been nicer and was persistent in all the right ways.

My renter called me just after Christmas to tell me that a tree branch had struck the roof of my house and made a hole.  My homeowners insurance recommended one contractor, who presented me with an outrageous estimate for the relatively small damage done (about 1' hole in roof).  I looked up Matt's Roofing on Angie's List and gave them a call on New Year's eve (a Monday).  They were able to look at the house, give me an estimate by phone within a day, and have the work completed in two.  By Friday, the hole was patched and everything was taken care of.  And for a fraction of the original estimate from the first contractor!  
Quick service, reasonably priced, would use again.

We have been unable to set a date for the estimate that is good for both of us, however, the emails and attempts were very professional and the response time was immediate. When I decide to try again to complete this project I will make contact. I was very impressed.

Matt was one of 6 roofing companies, all chosen from Angie's List,  that provided me a quote to replace the roof on my carriage house. He was the best price by far and included a much needed drip edge all the way around the edge of the building. In fact he was the only one who noticed the rotting wood and the need to install a drip edge. That attention to detail was impressive. Matt and his crew arrived when they said they would and provided the service we agreed on in the contract. Matt stood out from other roofers that I have used before because he also acted as the foreman on the job and worked along side his team even though he owns the company. This is truly the mark of a leader and I am glad that I chose Matt for the job. The roof turned out perfectly and they were very through in their clean-up afterwards.

Matt's Roofing was an exceptional find on Angie's List.  Reading the reviews made me wait to make my decision until we had an opportunity to get together.  Many of those I spoke with said-- "Let me know if someone has a lower bid and we'd like the opportunity to match their price!" I am not haggling with anyone for a price.  With Matt-- what he said and how his team approached was all business.  He delivered what he committed to.  Matt was open and frank about the issues he found on the roof.  He was a tremendous asset with revamping the attic ventilation and ensure everything was cleaned up properly prior to leaving the work site.  I am very pleased with Matt's Roofing and Gutters and will definitely have them perform more work at my home.  There is a great peace of mind when you have people working at hour home whom you trust to be there.

Overall it went great!  They clean and replaced half roof the 1st day, and the other the next day.  Installed all vents and 1 gutter.  Also reattached existing gutters.

They were excellent.  The overall experience was excellent.  I will definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

I was so impressed!  We had a hole in our skylight and there was a storm forecasted.  Called on Friday and they were the only ones that answered the phone.  Matt was out within the hour and they tarped the roof.  His estimate to replace was lower than I expected and after the storms blew through, they were out the next day to replace the skylight.  Work was performed in a timely and very professional manner.  I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

I found him on Angie's List.  Matt replaced the roof on my home.  He was very methodical and detailed.  He did an excellent job picking up the nails all over the yard.  The owner came out with a roller and picked them all up himself.  I would use them again in the future if needs aries.

Took off old shingles, replaced with new shingles.  Repaired facia board and replaced gutters.
