A family illness and death delayed our rating this excellent provider.  We apologize to Matt's Roofing for the delay in rating their service.
After giving us a complete estimate in one visit, and after questions were answered via phone, Matt's began the work within a week or so.  The work was completed within the week. Workers were skilled, considerate, and fast.  We were amazed at the cleanup job they did. Not a scrap of evidence left of the work.  We were very pleased with the look of the roof right away.  One aspect of the work was not completed as specified in the estimate, and we discovered our ventilation fan was no longer working after the job was completed.   Matt came out, agreed corrections needed to be made, and had his workers out the next day to get the work done.  The correction was made and the fan replaced.  We were pleased that Matt stuck to his word and made the job right, and impressed by his responsiveness. It's easy to be responsive when your seeking to get hired, but many companies aren't so responsive when things need to be corrected.  This was not the case with Matt.  The subsequent rains we have had this summer have affirmed that we made the right choice in providers.  It's so nice to have NO LEAKS!!

Matt was professional and obviously knew a great deal about roofing.  His estimate was very reasonable and since he is a master elite installer with GAF, he could offer a 50-year warranty.  The crew worked hard and were friendly and professional.  Since our house is a modified A-frame, it is not the standard install, but Matt and his crew had no problems with it.  Also, we were very impressed with Matt's willingness to work with our schedule.  In addition, we have had a lot of contractors work on our property and Matt's crew did the best cleanup of any of them.  I highly recommend him.

Bumpy start in relationship with agreed upon schedule, but after email to company,  job started when needed.
Cleanliness of jobsite was very good and we found very few nails and no debris.
Matt also added the barn roof on the fly when another contractor did not work out.(originally going to install metal roof)
We also got several extras...flashing on facial and rotted sections of roof decking replaced.
Most of house is a 12/12 pitch, but no toe boards were nailed through roofing(cause of rotted areas in past)
Only negative with project was that the tearoff was little rough on gutters, which in our case most of damage was confined to the hail damaged sections and Matt even replaced more gutters than he had to make job right.
Overall we are very pleased with work performed and I am a very critical customer being an ex contractor and having built our house, with some horrible work done in the beginning.

It did not turn out well. There was repairs, I had 1 week that I needed them to remediate and there were missing shingles across. They're very polite and professional. They came exactly at the time they said they would and I was able to get an appointment quickly when I needed it. They did the job that asked them to do. I did not have the weekend longer and the work was professional. I'm happy with the work.

After getting a few quotes using Angie's list to narrow down roof replacement businesses, I went with Matt's for the following reason. I had his company do a minor roof repair a few years ago and he was very professional then. With a small job done very well, he earned my trust then. I knew he would do the same for a bigger job.
The prices quoted for this roof replacement were within range of my budget (maybe a few hundred dollars more from Matt's) versus some other companies - hence the B. However I need to qualify that as a little more expensive but DEFINITELY worth it after the completion of the project.
 
I understood that my timing was a bit off when I started the process since it was around the beginning of summer and naturally roofers are quite busy. So I had to wait to be scheduled a week or two after he came over to check my house. That was the only "glitch" in my plan as I wanted it done right away. But then after that everything was a breeze. They ordered the materials, told me the materials will be there the day before installation, asked me to reserve a two car space for the materials and the dumpster and that's it. I got scheduled, they said they will finish in a day and they did. The dumpster was left but after calling them to remind them to take it back, they did on the same day of the call. Matt came over after a few days later to inspect the completed project and fixed/replaced a few things. All in all, a stress free project from my perspective. I just wish all contractors in Georgia are as professional as his company! I will not mind paying a bit more for excellent workmanship and less stress (on little details and missed/conflicting schedules, etc). With me, there was none of that with this company.

Problem was solved; solution explained; work done promptly, and professionally. We will use Matt's sevices in the future.

Went well.  They came and looked at the job within a few day.  He gave me a start date of the following week.  I had to be out of town, but my husband was in town.  They did not show up on the day specified, but they did come and fix the problem the next day.  Overall, we have had no further problems, so I am satisfied with the job.

Quick professional service... didn't try to hard sell me a new roof.   This home is one of several rentals I own and manage in the Douglasville area.  These guys will get my business in the Atlanta area.

The repair tech arrived on a Saturday and after I explained the problem he looked on the roof and found some shingles that were pulling away from the roof, a popped nail and in addition two exhaust vent tubes that were likely to fail very soon.  I told him to repair all of them.
The next evening a storm came through and it was obvious he did not fix the leak.  I was in their office on Monday morning and told them that the repair did not work and they said they would contact the tech and he would come back out to my house.  I received a call from him late that afternoon and he said that due to expected rain he did not want to be on the roof for the next couple of days. I placed towels in the attic under the leak and waited on his call.  I called him on Friday afternoon and he was out at my house by 5PM.  I showed him the leak in the attic and he worked on the valley on the roof for well over an hour and said he found several potential sources of the leak in that area.  He finished the job and cleaned up the area and since it was a recall since the original repair did not fix the problem there was no charge.
It has rained on two occasions since then and the leak as been repaired.
I liked the fact they responded and fixed the leak at no additional charge.
I would recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The service was good.  They came and did the job, and got through with it; that was about it.  They were very efficient.  I compared their prices and theirs was about average.  So in this industry, the prices were about normal.  The quality of the finished product was good.  Their responsiveness was good too.

This was a big project........large roof area with numerous angles, steep pitches and 22 years old. We had a chronic leak during heavy rain which was getting worse.   Matt's bid was by far the most comprehensive and also several thousand dollars less than the others.  Communication with Matt and the office was great.......always a same day call back if they didn't answer on the first try.  All aspects of the project were perfectly coordinated.....supply delivery, dumpster drop-off and pick-up.  The crew showed up at 7am and worked for three days( as planned) only stopping for lunch and lack of daylight!! They did an excellent job of protecting plants, shrubs, and the pool.  The clean-up was spectacular.  I believe we have found a grand total of three nails, two of which were on the bottom of the pool.  Virtually no debris.  The new roof looks wonderful.  We had a massive downpour the day after the project was complete.  NO MORE LEAK.  I cannot think of one thing that could have been done better.

They explained exactly what they said they were going to do, and they did a wonderful job! It was done so professionally, they were also honest and we appreciated this! We were so happy with them and it was a wonderful experience! My husband got some extra things done from them as well and he's as happy as can be and is telling everyone about them!

Matt came out gave a have estimate, his crew was on time, worked professionally and cleaned every scran of rash before leaving. They even screen raw big major oven the drive way ad hown.

The problem was partlly fixed after the initial service. Matt and his team are very responsive when I called back in. Now, after a few rains I'm sure he fixed everything!

Had water leaking around the chimney in my home.  They came out and gave an estimate.  We scheduled the work, the arrived on time and completed the work in less time than estimated and the price was the same as the estimate.  Their employees were polite, professional and cleaned up the mess prior to leaving.  I would use them again and very pleased with their service.
Several had rains since the repair and no leaks.  Extremely pleased with their service and quality!

they arrived when they were suppose to. The guys worked very hard and done a great job. it has been about 2 months and alot of rain. the new gutters are preforming perfectly.

We called Matt's Roofing to inspect our roof after a terrific hail storm. We were visited by Shawn for a roof inspection. He informed us it was trashed. We next contacted the insurance company who inspected it and agreed.Shawn gave us a price which seemed to be in line and we gave them the go ahead. Several days later the roofers showed up and had the job done in one day.
There were a couple of minor glitches along the way but Dustin made sure everything was completed and we were totally satisfied. The work quality was great. We are very happy with Matt's and would recommend them to anyone.

After a night of heavy rain, it appeared there may be a leak from part of the roof. I called Matt's on a Friday at noon and they scheduled a person to come out and look at the roof area on Saturday morning. The roofer arrived and checked the area where the possible leak was coming from. He even tried to duplicate the leak with a hose while on a ladder but was unable to find the leak source. I decided to continue monitoring  the roof area during more rain to see if the roof was a problem or possibly the window seal area instead. We agreed this was the best thing since it was newly discovered. I will use Matt's in the future.

He looked and saw that we had damage. He saw some hail damage. He checked and said everything was fine.

Old roof was removed. Decking repaired and new architectural shingles installed. New vents were installed as well. Aluminum screens were placed on all gutters. Quality of the work was excellent. There was good attention to detail. Vent pipes were painted to match roof. Clean up was well done as well.

I had someone come out to determine what was causing the leak in my living room and to give an estimate for repairing the problem. They sent someone out the very next day and I received an estimate which included 3 separate repairs.  I was told that I would be contacted in the next couple of days to set up a date/time for the repairs.  After a few days of not hearing from them, I called them.  They said that the reason why they hadn't called me was because someone had to come out to measure the top of the chimney for the new chimney cap (as if I should have known this). I asked when they would be coming out to measure and they couldn't give me anything definite. 
A few days later I was called to say that the guy was coming out to measure the chimney and they could now set up a time for the work. The first available date was two weeks out.  On the day they were scheduled to come out they called at 5:30 pm to say they couldn't come out that day due to the chimney cap that they ordered being the wrong size.  Again they couldn't give me an exact date of when they would be coming back out.  The next day I pulled up in my driveway to find them there.  I had not received a call to let me know they were coming.  The work I requested was completed.  They appeared to do a good job.
Had I known that it would take 25 days from the time that I had called them to the time that they actually came out to do the work I had requested, I may have called someone else.  Their communication with me in general was lacking.

Made the repairs and cleaned up very well after the job was complete.
