Animal Boarding Kennels
Do not use!! My little Dog has never been aggressive or muzzled. They muzzled her and claimed she worked out of the muzzle and bit the groomer...they left her half finished after being there for 5 hours. They did not charge me however I would not have paid if they tried...

The business was clean and neat. The staff was friendly and kind. They seemed to care for our pet dearly. Just remember that tge are closed during lunch hours. Totally understandable, but we forgot and had to wait 20 minutes to drop off our pet.

One of the things that bothers me about Four Paws Bed and Breakfast is that they usually do not answer the phone when I call, like most businesses do. I have to leave a message and they call me back. That's just a personal thing and it may not bother some people, but I don't care for leaving messages. I prefer to speak to a real person. Having said that, they do ALWAYS call me back within an hour.
I've always been able to get my dog in for a bath on the same day. Their grooming services and prices are definitely the most affordable around.
He stayed there for a weekend recently and seemed pretty good when we picked him. He's supposedly given a bath before he goes home but he really didn't smell that fresh. Since we picked him up on a Sunday, my suspicion is that he was bathed on Saturday. Not a huge problem, but he was a bit smelly when we picked him up and since I'd paid an extra 20 for him to be fresh and clean - I felt that 20 was a bit wasted. He's an inside dog and we really need to keep him clean.
I'll probably use them again because they are close and really affordable and I don't see any issues with how they treat my doggie friend!

The boarding experience for our aging poodle did not go well at all. She is on multiple medications. Eyedrops in both eyes. Blood pressure medications ( 2 types) 2 times a day. Also for this visit, she was finishing a course of antibiotic for a UTI. Unknown to us, the young lady who had taken care of Candi in the past was not assigned to her.
She was assigned to a new trainee.......who did not give her back to back doses of her medications, and her eye drop meds were just thrown in the bottom of the basket we always carry. We took the medication trays in to show the staff what had happened, and that's when we were told about the trainee. What we also didn't know was that the owner of FourPaws was sitting at the computer collecting money from other clients as we were informing the staff about the problem. She never said one word of apology or anything else while we were present.
The next day I called and asked to speak to the owner. Immediately I was told that she knew, because she was sitting right there. She informed me that this was the first time this had ever happened. She understood how we felt because she was a dog owner too. I suggested that she may want to reconsider putting a trainee in charge of an animal receiving multiple medications. Her response, "I will take care of my employees."
Since I did not actually receive an apology, I promptly asked her to cancel next 2 exteneded stay reservations for June and July in her kennel.
