I was not happy at all with this contractor. Granted they did come behind another contractor to correct there work, but after the tile job was done the clean up of the grout work was a hot mess. They did not communicate well at all. I gave them a list of everything that i wanted done as asked them to review it before they started the job. let me know what was not included in the price. They agree that everything was included except electrical, painting and wall repairs. I gave them a repair list for a reason. They told me that they would follow the list. well when they packed up to leave there were so many items on the list that was not done. I am a communicator and a organized person. so i made sure they knew exactly what I wanted done. Sam talked over me while i was explaining what i wanted, said he would do stuff and then say he did not say he would do it. Charged me for extra items without finishing everything he told me he would do. He was supposed to hang mirrors (did not do), install vent covers (did not do), grout the second bath (did not do), install outlet covers (did not do) and there was more. At the end of the day, he up charged me on small items without finishing everything. They were also very rude, and very disrespectful. I will never hire them again. when they were packing up to leave, i just paid them, and sent them the hell out of my house. They used dirty rags to clean up grout residue and did not make sure it was all cleaned up when they left. because they did not clean up the grout mess i'm left having to scrub the hell out of my floors and showers to clean up the grout residue. when they were setting the tub faucets they did not have the proper tool to cut the tile and they chip the tile really bad in a very visible spot. The bottom like is i felt that they were just ready to move on to another job, so they just quickly put my stuff together so they can get to the next dollar. I hate contractors who don't treat you like your there only customer, considering I'm the only customer that i care about. I hired you to do a job based on what was agreed and you failed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE HOME ADVISOR TO FIND A CONTRACTOR.

It was sure a pleasure working with Sammy & Ed. They were very thorough with every step of the process from the quoting to the cleanup. The work site was cleaned at the end of each day. They were always on time and very respectful of our home. We are very pleased with the finished job and would not hesitate to call them for any remodeling job that may come up in the future.

I bought a house, and the deck was falling apart. Sam gave me the most reasonable quote, stuck to my budget, finished the job quickly, and my new deck is fabulous! These guys are not flashy, HGTV, over-the-top, trying to spend your money crazies. These are good, hard working guys that do the job right, just how you want it, and work with you to make sure you're happy. And they're good with the dogs that bark like crazy, too! I would hire them again for any project, and I would highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with Sam and his work, he installed trim, basboards and a stair gringer. I would recommend him for any job. The impossible jobs, Sam seems to find a way to make it work. I will be using him again in the future. he is also very reasonable..

They are very precise, like things done right, also they love what they do and will not charge an arm and a leg to give you great service.. Highly recommended...

Owners do the work. Explain everything on detail and make recommendations.Punctual and polite. Work is high quality. Have not finished the project. Waiting for wood to dry before staining.

Ed Irons and team were a dream. I had porcelain tile installed in two bathrooms and a laundry room. My laundry room needed extra work due to water damage. Ed kept me informed every step of the way. Ed and his team were very courteous, kept on schedule and kept the work areas clean. Most importantly, my floors are BEAUTIFUL!! I highly recommend R&S Contracting.

The project consisted of installing 6" ceiling crown molding in one room of the basement. Sam did an outstandinlg job of installing it. Sam is a true craftsman when it comes to wood working and knows all the tricks of the trade. His price was reasonable and he was very dependable. He showed up when he said he would and contacted me if he was running late. A true professional. I would highly recommend Sam for all your interior or any other wood working needs.

I'd had some bad experiences with contractors in the recent past which left our house in a state of disarray. I was a referred to R&S by a friend who used them (see Ray C. in comments). The R&S team came in at a fair price and out-performed our expectations. Ed, Sam, and the folks that work with them are TOP NOTCH and undeniably a rare breed in the construction business these days. In addition to performing excellent work, they are good, honest people we now call our friends. We look forward to having them back out to refinish our basement! I have since referred them to other friends/colleagues who have also contracted them for work.

This was a shower remodel to frameless shower and tiling. Everyone was professional and provided great work. Project completed on time. I love my new shower and would recommend them for service

Sam and his partners were there on time and stayed until the job was done. I had them frame up my entire basement and they did and amazing carpentry job. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

Sam and his team were very prompt and very enjoyable to work with. We hired them to repair old termite damage to an exterior wall/floor joist and the replacement of insulation and siding to the effected exterior wall. They did what they said they would do and more. While they were doing our job they discovered exposed pipes and promptly insulated them, they repaired an electrical outlet that we didn't realize was only partially working, and even made time to build stairs that were not included in the original estimate. We will definitely use them again. We were very happy with the whole experience.
