Silvia's Cleaning Service

She did an good job. Her price was reasonable - better than other estimates we had received.

Silvia contacted me promptly and we scheduled a date. She did call me and try to move the time again but I was locked into the agreed upon time because my schedule with my kids. She said she would be there at the agreed upon time. Silvia was very cheerful. I did ask about help with the marks on the walls and she said that is normally not something they did, but if there was time afterwards, they would be happy to get to that. I really appreciated the attitude. And like I said, my house WAS messy, and she never let out a labored sigh, any verbal or nonverbal cues of exasperation. She was cheerful and worked around my kids and pets efficiently. They worked constantly- no chatting among the two workers, no chatting on the phone, just quiet, quick work. When there was ten minutes left and they had not finished the hardwood floor, I was a bit worried that they would finish midstream. They actually stayed a few minutes late to do it. I gave them a tip I felt they earned and we discussed their coming again in the next month. I need to set that up!
I like that I can do it online. I like that I paid for the time and that they worked constantly. I was working upstairs (the floor they could get to in the 4 hours) and I felt SO great that I actually had help. I felt wonderful that when I was doing laundry someone was helping the house get cleaned instead of it getting worse by the kids and pets.
The cleaning was wonderful. She did not add any fragrances to the carpets, etc, just got it clean. Silvia and Patty were hard workers and they had a great positive attitude. For a mom of three when the money is TIGHT, it was such a boost to have a clean home (and in-laws were coming the next day!), I felt like it was worth its weight in gold.
