Work was done well and it will probably last the 50 years they advertise. Only one area of roof trim is not flush. Worked around existing gutter guards. However, clean up was not great. They squashed plants in front bed after they asked and I told them to not harm the front flower beds. Moved patio furniture around and didn't put it back when done. Still had old shingle pieces on patio. They bent a gutter baffling. Didn't put gutter down spout extender back. So care for property is so so.

Great experience. Cage, Sebastian and crew, and Brandon were all very professional. Cage gave a great product presentation, Sebastian and crew did an excellent installation, and Brandon, the quality assurance guy, came out and went over the windows, did a walk around the house to identify potential issues, tested all the newly installed windows, and answered all our questions. Would definitely use their services again. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.

Before I share my experience with this company, let me first say that the representative they sent out could not have been more professional, personable and knowledgeable. I hesitate to go further as, given the sales strategies used by this company, I am sure any reaction and or response will be targeted at the representative rather than their detestable high pressure sales culture. As expected, the representative went through the house measuring windows, but also pointed out damaged areas in need of attention whether we chose to go with them or not. During this review he demonstrated exceptional knowledge of construction, common window problems and replacement. However, that is where the love fest ended and the horror show began. We were drug through a two hour presentation beginning with a one sided overview of the company, describing them as the type of company whose employees walk old women across the street, save cats from trees and are generally upstanding citizens free of germs and bugs. A sample of the product was reviewed and while I would say it appeared to be of high quality, its construction is similar to what their competition is using. I was impressed with a demonstration of how the Argon gas windows reduce heat infusion, but frankly would have interest in conducting my own experiment. Given the carnival presentation I couldn’t help but wonder if slight of hand or product was used. Following the review we progressed into what I describe as the most despicable, the high pressure sales strategies of the typical used car salesman. Let me insert here that I have learned over the years to regret purchases on a whim. Rather, I take the approach that I need a cooling off period to digest both the presentation and the estimate. However, this snake oil sales company doesn’t do business that way. They press for a sale at the time of visit while they believe you are vulnerable to their overhyped product and presentation. To justify their approach they highlighted the excessive costs associated with an old UPS delivery method where, in requiring signatures, forced the company to make multiple attempts to deliver a package when residents weren’t home on the initial delivery attempt. While I completely understand the costs of rework, in a day of electronic signatures, email and competition who uses that method to sign contracts, their argument is invalid, arcane and completely outdated. The discount, only good while the representative was at the house changed at least four times, getting better on each revision, ultimately yielding about a 30% discount. However, you had to sign while he was at the house. Once he walked out the door the initial, un-discounted price is your only option. Lets get to the real reason behind this technique; it is to shut out competition, exploit emotions and sell a higher cost product that isn’t materially better than their competition. This, to me, is a compete turn off and RED FLAG on everything mentioned, the people, the product and the quality. When I encounter this type of sales technique all other input doesn’t matter. You have lost me as a potential customer. I would not walk, but run as fast as you can from this company to avoid becoming a victim.

"Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Power. Our goal is to provide long term value to our customer for their investment in a premium product and service, not necessarily to offer the cheapest options available. Having performed over one million installations in our time, we’ve noticed that homeowners are more pleased with their decision to invest more to receive a premium product and installation, and our 96% customer satisfaction rating speaks to that. As our pricing model stands, we are able to offer steep discounts on agreements signed on our first visit. It is simply more cost effective for us to come to an agreement on price if our customers are ready to move forward rather than making multiple visits. We are then able to pass those cost savings directly onto the customer for their trust in our products and team. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to Customer Care Department at [email protected] or 888-736-6335, option 4 at the prompt. We’ll make sure to do everything we can to satisfy your expectations and deliver the type of service you expect and deserve."

Roofing, Gutter Repair and Replacement

I am very pleased with the quality of the materials and the work that was done. Power is more expensive than your average run of the mill contractor, but the quality that you get out of it is definitely worth the extra you pay and the transferable lifetime warranty is a great value add if you ever decide to sell your house. That being said, I will not be using Power again, nor will I be likely to recommend them to anyone due to their ridiculous high pressure sales practices. For anyone considering using Power, let me go ahead and prepare you for what to expect with your initial inspection/estimate. The salesman we had come over spent literally 5 hours at our house before he left. He was here from 7:00 PM until close to midnight. We literally cooked and ate dinner while he was here talking to us about the entire history of the company and teaching us, step-by-step, how a roof is built. Fortunately, my wife and I are fairly patient people and learning about all of the components that go into a roof was interesting, but 5 hours was a little overkill and we just weren't prepared for it. Maybe if we had known what to expect beforehand, it wouldn't have been so bad. The first quote we were given was outrageously expensive. They wanted close to $45,000 to replace our 3,000 sq ft roof and gutters. I told the guy there was no way we could afford that and then he said that he could offer us a special deal of $33,000 but we had to decide right then and there if we wanted to do it. We couldn't have the night, or even 24-hours, to think about it. I again told him that it was simply too much and then he knocked the price down to $28,000 if we agreed to do a review for them, but again, we had to say "Yes" right then and there. The reason they require a "Yes" immediately, according to them, is because of efficiency. They compared themselves to UPS drivers who used to waste time trying to deliver packages over and over again to the same houses. They said that by us saying "Yes" right away, it saves them the hassle of having to send someone back out to the house to sign papers. I'm sorry, but in this day and age when there are plenty of ways to digitally sign papers, that excuse doesn't fly. This is just high pressure sales 101. That's all it is and I'm someone that does not appreciate being put in those scenarios. It is ridiculous to expect any average person to make a $30,000 financial decision in a matter of minutes. There's no reason why they shouldn't give people 24-48 hours to look over their finances, maybe get a 2nd opinion, etc. Of course, you do have the ability to do that, but you lose the "better" pricing if you do and have to pay the super premium price. Despite the fact that I am happy with the quality of the work, I will not be using them again because of this. Unless, of course, they change their policy. Additionally, the company said that when they were done we wouldn't even know they were there, but I definitely knew because I had to move my patio furniture off of my lawn and back onto the patio, along with my grill and smoker. They damaged an outdoor thermometer, luckily it was just a cheap one, so I'm not too bent out of shape over it. I also had to pick up nails that were left in my yard and pick up pieces of trash and plastic left behind and they damaged some of our lilies in our flower bed that we had just planted this year, which I specifically mentioned to the project manager to make sure they took care not to damage the flowers. It wasn't a complete disaster, but it definitely didn't live up to the promise that was made to me. Which, if I'm paying a premium price, I expect little promises like this to be kept. Again, I think they do fantastic work. They were on time. They finished on time. The quality of their work is great and I think there is good value despite the premium price tag, but the high pressure sales technique that we had to endure really just left a sour taste in my mouth. Hopefully the value of the warranty will really make itself known if/when we either sell the house or need to use it and then maybe that will wash the sour taste out.

Our goal is to provide long term value to our customer for their investment in a premium product and service, not necessarily to offer the cheapest options available. We acknowledge that our in-home estimates may last longer than homeowners might initially expect. It is never our intention to overstay our welcome in a customer's home. Setting expectations for the installation process is paramount for a seamless remodeling experience. Sometimes this takes longer than anticipated. Having performed over one million installations in our time, we’ve noticed that homeowners are more pleased with their decision to invest more to receive a premium product and installation, and our 96% customer satisfaction rating speaks to that. Very well. The crews were on time and hard working. Definitely professional. The cost for the roof is definitely above average but the guarantee for lifetime and the fact that the guarantee stays with the house even if we sell was a plus.

From the initial consultation to the planning to the install and cleaning, this company has been amazing! Next let's talk about the windows... Night and day difference from the previous windows. Less road noise, better look, better functionality, and NO Draft. After the install they took the time to fix a couple of minor issues with screens, then sent out a quality control inspector to look at every single window to make sure all functionality worked perfect and no issues. Explained the warranty and the warranty for these windows are amazing. It's nice to get the windows replaced and not have to worry about them going forward.

What an exceptional experience! From the initial sales meeting through the installation to the final inspection process, this was one of the best home remodeling experience we’ve encountered. We knew nothing about this company until we receive a date for a free estimate for our windows. They are the second largest home improvement company in the US! I can see why. Every person we have been in contact with has been personable and professional. The install crew kept the house and grounds clean as they worked. The team completed the installation of 28 windows in two days. I highly recommend this company and we are already considering another job with them.

We have been very pleased with the work that Power Home Remodeling has done on our home. The complexity of the roofing work is so very impressive and the 50-year warranty is unheard of in this market. The trim, gutter, soffit and fascia work is maintenance free and will not need to be painted, and was available in colors that match the other paintable trim on our home. We are hoping that the upgrade of our attic insulation will make an impact on our electric bill and keep our house cooler in the summer and warm in the winter. We were so happy with the team of professionals at Power that we have already signed on for more work replacing our grand entry doors, adding sliding doors and replacing some windows. We highly recommend Power Home Remodeling for their outstanding work.

The installation was great. The crew was here on time. From everything I saw, they worked efficiently but not so fast that quality suffered for speed. They cleaned everything up around the property, including using metal detectors to make sure they got all of the nails. Everyone was extremely friendly.

We saw Power Home Remodeling Group at a kiosk in Sam's Club about 2 weeks ago. We have wanted to get estimates on replacing our roof so we talked with them thinking if they were at Sam's Club we could trust them. We made an appointment for the next day. The salesman spent 2 hours with us and still had not given us a quote. We had other commitments so we rescheduled for his return. When he came back, he spent another hour before giving us his quote of $64,155 to replace our 6,000sq ft roof. He then offered us a price or $54,000 if we signed today. We showed him the door and he then offered us $49,000 if we signed then. Over the next week, we had 4 very reputable roofing contractors from the area come in. They all had bids that were between $18,010 and $18, 861. Power Home Remodeling Group may do good work, but they are a major rip off. BEWARE!!!

"[Member Name Removed] - Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your experiences with Power Home Remodeling. We apologize that your experience receiving an estimate for your project was less than satisfactory. In our 26 years of business, we have never been the cheapest option available. We have, however, always delivered one of the best experiences in the industry. The remodeling industry as a whole carries a 68% complaint rate. Power's customer satisfaction rate for those who have had work done is between 95-99%. Having performed over 500,000 installations, we've found that homeowners are pleased overall with their decision to invest more to receive a premium product and installation as their home is often their largest investment. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please give us a call at (888) 736-6335, option 4 at the prompt."

We are extremely happy with the service and products we received. We did the window replacement project in two parts and were fortunate to have the same crew both times. James, Steven, and Mark were amazing! They were very professional, did quick work, cleaned up behind themselves, and were very thorough in their explanations. The quality of the windows is amazing. They are not only beautiful, the noise reduction is very noticeable and the reduction in our cooling bill is noticeable. If you are ready to to replace your windows you will not be disappointed with the customer service and quality of products that you will receive.

All team members we've spoken with on the phone and had come to our home were very professional. Every expectation set has been carried out fully. It's a relief to have a company actually follow through and deliver what they committed to. The doors and window packages had plenty of options to fit our style and needs. We would recommend their service to anyone.
