Every aspect of working with AKME waterproofing was extremely positive. Steve came out and provided me options for me to consider and in no way was putting any pressure to do more work than what was necessary. Ultimately we decided to put in a sump-pump and encapsulate the crawlspace. The team came out every morning on-time and were efficient and did a great job. They cleaned up after and now my crawlspace is dry and everything was exactly as described. I can't recommend AKME highly enough. If you have basement or crawlspace water issues you should absolutely give them a call. Great value, great quality A+++

As an our of state property owner, I appreciated that Steve took the time to discuss the remedy he proposed, and answered my questions in a detail and informed way as to what the different aspects of the treatment actually involved. Steve & Randall did an excellent job of analyzing our problems & explaining their products & procedures. George, the job's foreman, was professional, polite, and careful in our home. The work was easily scheduled & completed in a week. It looks amazing & has survived one 2" rainfall with no leaks. We believe our AKME Waterproofing project is money well spent and expect to enjoy many years of a dry basement and crawl space.

Steve Terjung’s AKME Waterproofing was referred to me by an Atlanta-area radon mitigation company. When meeting with Steve at the project site, I was impressed with his logical and conservative plans for ending water intrusion into the finished basement of my daughter’s newly bought “fixer upper”; none of the “over-the-top, sky is falling” proposals by other waterproofing companies. Steve’s crew showed up promptly and worked efficiently (and neatly!) completing a professional installation of an interior crawlspace perimeter drain and sump well and pump in less than two days. I highly recommend Steve and AKME Waterproofing. I suggest giving Steve the opportunity to provide you with a solution to eliminating your water intrusion issues.

This team exceeded my expectations. I watched tons of videos and in doing so became very clear on how the drainage installation was supposed to go. I saw all the pitfalls many homeowners face with other companies and the failed projects with which they were left. with much practice in vetting contractors, weeding out bad ones with simple questions like what type of pipe should be used ?, Will the pipe be installed over or under the footer?, What thickness does the concrete pour back need to be? Akme answered all those questions CORRECTLY before I had a chance to answer them. many weeks of tireless research and It paid off. They are the be the best in Georgia.

I would definitely recommend AKME waterproofing. Steve and his team do a fantastic job, not to mention he is easy to work with. We needed a French drain and foundation support installed in our basement and the quality of work was impressive. If you need waterproofing, hire AKME! You won’t be disappointed.

Steve and his guys are awesome! Needless to say when you have water in your basement you want it handled right the first time. From our initial meeting Steve projected professionalism and experience, walking me through our issue and offering multiple solutions. He was able to fit us in to his busy schedule and kept us on track for our renovation project. I'm sure there are cheaper options out there but the quality of AKME's work speaks for itself!

This was the most outstanding job I have ever seen. The work was top notch and they cleaned up when they were finished. They were here for 3 days and when they finished everything was perfectly cleaned up. Steve on down to all of his team are very professional and knowledgeable. They even found a crack I did not know about. It was small but I was not charged additional money to fix it. Best work and best Customer Service ever.

Steve at AKME helped me fix multiple floor to ceiling cracks in my foundation wall where water was penetrating. He also provided excellent advice on how to solve the source of the problem. He is very professional and trustworthy. He does not oversell. The quality of his work is excellent and immediately stopped the leak.

Best and Most Trustworthy company by far! We found water in our basement and knew this was going to be a ridiculously expensive repair. Or so we thought. We called a few companies and over the phone, they pitched us on water proofing, expensive foundation repair, etc. We talked to Steve based on some good reviews and he found time to come take a look. He saw our issue quickly, and it wasn't the most expensive fix. In fact, it was almost certainly the least expensive. He could have told me anything. He saved us a lot of heartache, frustration, and money. And his team came in quickly and did a perfect job. It doesn't get any better than AKME, I wish all companies across all industries would be as professional and service-oriented.

The folks at AKME were outstanding! I have lived in my home for over 20 years, but just recently had a water intrusion issue in my theatre room. I originally called another company that you see on tv quite often and they wanted me to spend $25,000 on their solution. This would have caused me to cut the sheetrock in over half the walls in the room, remove the flooring along the walls, install their solution and then repair everything. The $25,000 estimate was just for their solution, not the repairs. When Steve Terjung, from AKME came to my home, I explained what we were experiencing. He asked to cut away a small piece of the sheetrock on one of my walls and he located the issue. We had one place where water was getting in through a seam in the foundation. They came out and sealed it up...problem gone. The cost was less than $3,000. Very professional, reliable and thoroughly cleaned up after their work was completed.

Steve could not have been more professional. This entire process has been so stressful but AKME make me so at ease and their work was flawless. I would hire them again and again. Steve truly took the time to listen to me to make sure all my concerns were addressed. Great experience all around.

AKME Waterproofing is amazing. I'm not sure why you would hire anyone else. These guys showed up early every day and worked hard until the job was done. Steve is a great communicator and answered any questions I had throughout the process. My crawl space was transformed and now looks amazing and is dry. With all of the rain we were having already this year, we discovered a mini waterfall behind our HVAC and water heaters in our basement back in February! It was quite obvious that this was an issue the previous owners were aware of but did not fix (a dehumidifier left in front of the leak does not count as a fix in my mind). Unfortunately, we weren’t the only ones with leaky basement issues so the majority of places were not able to come out until mid-March to inspect and give an estimate. Fortunately, I found Steve with AKME Waterproofing. He responded to my message immediately, scheduled a visit and was able to come out and give me an estimate in no time. Not to mention that he has lots of experience (just ask him) and was able to show me lots of other cases he’s worked/working on fixing. I did have one other company come out and give an estimate and they told me I would need a sump pump and to move the HVAC and water heaters so they could bring in a jackhammer....this was quoted at $6,000+, not including the cost and time I would have to sink into finding someone to move the HVAC and water heaters! Steve thankfully saved my life with a simpler solution of polyurethane injection, which cost me a 1/3 of the other quote. I think you can figure out who I chose. Steve even took the time to explain that it may take 4-6 weeks before he could even schedule the actual repair (dependent on other jobs and the weather of course), but by that point that would still put us ahead of the other estimates so I was quite happy with waiting. Finally, Steve called me up mid-March and was able to send out his best employee, Bear, to take care of the job and they were able to knock it out in one day! Everyone was very polite and professional and efficient in their work. Best even came back the next day to rehang part of the duct work the had to move to complete the job (something I could have easily taken care of on my own!). I highly recommend AKME Waterproofing not only because they are cost effective, but because they also know what they are doing and have the experience and talent to back it up. If you give them a chance and even just have a conversation with Steve, I don’t think you’d be satisfied with using any other company!

We have poured concrete walls in our basement. Once or twice a year we have had a leak on our back wall where the wall meets the floor. Steve came out and explained what he thought the problem was. He was very knowledgeable about the type of repair we needed and suggested we start with the least invasive repair to see if that resolved the problem. His crew was professional, on time and left a clean worksite at the end of each day. The price was very reasonable and much lower than we thought it would be. We would highly recommend Steve/AKME to others.

Steve at AKME Waterproofing guided me to the right solution for my basement even when he was not the one getting paid! I contacted Steve after getting several quotes on how to fix a small leak in my basement. After hearing several different quotes, I realized all of them had one thing in common...all of the other companies were trying to fix my leak using their "one size fits all" approach without even tracing where the water was coming from! Steve advised me to find the source of the water before making any assumptions and ridiculous repairs. I ended up removing the drywall from one closet in my finished basement and then taking several pictures and texting them to him. After days of communication via phone and text, Steve was able to help me find a correct diagnosis for the problem to my leak. The repairs called for a new grading solution to my front yard, which is not in Steve's wheelhouse. Nevertheless, he continued to help guide me to the right people and helped me pose the right questions, without so much as asking for a consultation fee. As it turns out, the other solutions offered by the other companies would not have resolved the issue in my case. I am glad that I took Steve's advice and found where the water was coming from before wasting thousands of dollars on a "repair" that would not have worked. Thanks Steve!

Steve and his crew were amazing. So polite and respectful and competent. I felt like they explained the work in detail and made sure I understood what they were doing. They answered all of my questions with professionalism. They made a timeline and completed the job within that framework. Above all, they were incredibly nice people. I would hire them again in a heartbeat to do additional work on the house. Absolutely stellar.

I am a general contractor here in the metro area and have used Steve and Akme many many times. I continue to use them as I believe they have the most thoughtful, jobsite specific solutions on the market. Their products sourced are the best around, and the throught and care that Steve and his crew on every job is noticable. I been Using Akme for over 6 years now and have never had any issues that were not immedialtey and thoroughly resolved. Steve always makes time to ensure we understand the scope, timing, and any other variables in the job. He is one of the most professional and knowledgable guys around. I dont make any other calls when it comes to my interior basement/ crawl space work. He is not the cheapest guy out there, when you consider the full package of what you get for both products, and also the knowledge , and dedication, Akme is by far the best value on the market today. They have done at least a dozen jobs ranging from crawl space encapsulation, to full interior drains on a large scale. I have never had any quality of work issues with their work. I would reccommend these guys hands down each and every time i need interior drainage/encapsulation.
