I have a 1999 BMW convertible. The people I was taking it to for service before finding Tilly Mill were so expensive I'd decided to either find someone else or sell the car. Then the hose blew off the radiator in 100 degree heat and I had to find someone immediately and get fixed. I found Tilly Mill Service Center on Angie's list and they were great. They were tolerant of the fact I bought my own radiator and was only calling when I realized I couldn't install it myself. They were quick, installed the radiator and the other things that needed fixing and did so for a reasonable price.

They are now my mechanics.

I won’t be going back. He didn’t do the work as he said he would. He didn’t do half the things on the list, he charged me labor for it. He didn’t replace fluids. I found out later when stuff starting acting up that he didn’t replace fluids like he was supposed to. There’s nothing to bring up, I can’t get my money back. I had another mechanic actually do the work and change the fluid in the power steering. Tilly Mill did some of the work, just not all of it. When it comes to preventative maintenance that’s going to make your car break down. Definitely going to back to repeat. They are a little standoffish, but they are nice when they do their thing. It’s a little dirty and disorganized. It’s your mom and pop garage shop. You are not walking into a state of the art facility or anything. If you have work done there have another mechanic double check it because it’s most like he did not do everything in a preventative maintenance check list. It was a drop it off in the morning and come and pick it up in the afternoon type of deal.

My mechanic sold his business and retired. So in looking for a new mechanic to replace a headlight which had burned out, I researched Angie's List. Tilly Mill Service Center is close to me and had a favorable rating. I dropped by on Friday. It was a busy day, so the owner (?) suggested I come by anytime on Saturday. I did so, and within 15 minutes, it was done and I was on my way. (No detailed receipt was given -- just credit card receipt.) Dropped by again a few weeks later to have my tires rotated and oil changed. It was done in 20 minutes. (No detailed receipt given -- just credit card receipt.) Periodically, had smoke coming from under the hood and through the vents. When I called, they told me to stop by. When I did, they were quite busy. By the time someone had a chance to check out my car, the smoke and smell were gone. They did look under the hood, but couldn't see anything. They then took it for a test drive to see if they could recreate the problem, but couldn't. They did not charge me for the inspection, etc, but suggested I bring it by again, if it happens again, and they would investigate more quickly. Within 10 days, I did, and they did. Looks like a leaky oil gasket. Estimated repair time: 1-2 days. Estimated repair cost: $250 or a little more. I'll make an appointment within a couple of weeks to take it in and will keep you posted.

Went great. Dropped car off at 11:00 picked it up at 4:00 and window was back in the brackets and working once again and sounding securely placed in the brackets and the track of the automatic window.

Danny was exceptional in all respects and I highly recommend his service. He defined the cause of the "engine light", suggested it was not an "urgent" or "immediate care" issue, and gave me an estimate to fix it. His knowledge, approach to service, and timeliness was truly appreciated and I will certainly be working with him in the future. Both co-workers who provided my rides agree !

They appeared to be honest and helpful. They didn't try to do work the car didn't need. Their fees were very reasonable. I would go back, and have already told friends and neighbors about them.

It went well, which is why I've been patronizing this business this business for 20+ years.

I have been very pleased with them and will not take my cars anywhere else. I had bought my tires for the Jeep at another company and they told me there was a problem with my brakes and that they needed replacing. I decided to take it over to Danny Ship, who is the owner of Till Mill. Danny looked at my brakes and pads and told me that there was nothing wrong with them at all. It really impressed me that he was that honest. The way I look at it is that he could have told me there really was a problem and charged me, but he did not do that. He earned my respect and trust with my cars.

The staff here were polite, patient and informative. They explained to me how the emissions test works, and even took the time to tell me about a few things I should have looked at before next year. They detailed exactly what went into my service bill, which I found to be very fair. Altogether a pleasant experience resulting in professional service, with none of the runaround or price-gouging I usually get based on the make and model of my car ('88 VW Fox wagon). I fully intend to take my car back to them the next time it needs fixing.

OVERALL THEY ARE GREAT. I LOVE THEM. THE HONESTY IS GOOD. THE LOCATION IS RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE. THEY WORK ON ALL CARS. THEY WILL DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES TO GET OUR CARS TO WORK.

I have repeatedly used Tilley Mill Auto repair. They have earned my trust by always repairing things correctly the first time and often for a fraction of the cost that originally estimated. They have referred me elsewhere when they believed someone else could repair a muffler problem quicker and at a lower cost. I get only the work needed and at a fair price.

These guys are great! Rather than dive right into a major transmission rebuild, they did a computer diagnosis and made some software changes which corrected the problem, saving me hundreds of dollars.
