I called Home Probe asking for an inspection that weekend with very little notice. Tracy in their office offered to call me back. Within a few minutes she said someone would be available to meet me on a Saturday at 5:30 PM, which worked perfectly with my schedule. I was very impressed. Jeff completed his inspection report on site and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was emailed the report later that day. Overall the experience was wonderful and I have zero complaints.

Tracy and Jeff were EXCELLENT and very professional. First off i love the fact i was able to make my appointment ONLINE. That was a huge plus for since i'm very busy at work and i have a hard time stepping away to make appointments. I also like that Home Probe has a staff of inspectors which allows them to have a flexible availability. An hour after making my appointment Tracy called me and confirm during the call we talked about the areas of concern on the house and she was very helpful. Jeff was just EXCELLENT i have no complaints although the house was like new he still took the time out to examine everything and i mean EVERYTHING. Overall it took two hours instead of the estimated 4 but still very detailed inspections. I wish the price was a little lower another angie list inspections company start around $325 and has higher ranking on angies list , maybe something to consider. But i will still use Jeff from Home Probe again.

Home Probe, Inc. are professionals. Tracy called me a few days before my inspection to confirm somethings and get some information from me. I was a little bit late to the appt and the inspector was already there waiting for me. He set his equipment up and gave me a very thorough overview of what to expect and invited me to tag along so that he could explain things in detail for me. We spent about 3 hours going thru my house, he took pictures, pointed out things that I hadn't caught, he even got up in my attic and managed to get great pictures of my roof. I appreciated everything he did and I will definitely be working with them again.

These guys are great, and I can say that with confidence, Because buying a house is the largest single investment I?m making anytime soon. I also brought out professional Electricians, plumbers, Structural Engineers, and an HVAC company to give me their professional views on the major systems in the house. There was nothing in their reports that was not already identified by the Home Probe inspector. So I already had a good idea what all of them were going to find. They answered all my questions, and went over anything with me that I asked them to go into more depth about. Also the report they give you is like nothing I have ever seen before. The pictures on the "correct" way it should look are great, my realtor had never seen a report from them either and when she got it she was so impressed they were passing it around the office to the other realtor asking what home inspection company is this detailed and give you reports like that. I told them Home Probe and would recommend them to ANYONE buying a home. if you call other inspectors you may find cheaper ones...but I am telling you these guys are worth the $$$ and if you are shopping solely on price for an inspector, remember this is the largest single investment you will probably make and if you want to have a good idea of the shape the house is in and what you are getting yourself into with that purchase? these are the guys to talk to.

The inspector arrived punctually despite a heavy snowfall and performed an exhaustive inspection of the home. He was pleasant and professional. He did a thorough job and was clearly knowledgeable and experienced. There was some confusion about the radon detection device and a bit of a delay in reporting those results. However, they identified the "dropped ball" and rectified the problem immediately.

We needed to leave before our lease was up because of mold issues. To cover ourselves legally, we had to get an inspection. I called Home-Probe and they showed up the next day. The report was thorough and exactly what we needed. They were prompt, professional and helpful. Would definitely hire them again. Thanks guys! You're the best!

Excellent service. They came and left the equipment a day after I called. Then they picked it up 48 hours later to get an accurate reading. They sent the results to me via e-mail(happily we had no problem) within 2 hours after they picked up the equipment. Now I have peace of mind. I recommend this company without reservation. They were so impressive I will call them the next time I need a house inspected, since that is their main business.

Extremely professional service, very patiently and clearly explained the process and findings of the home inspection. Very fast and efficient, was at home site early and completed faster than estimated time. Friendly both in person and talking with office employees. Recommended by our agent, and she was right - it was exactly what we needed.

This provider was one of 2 ASHI-member firms with Angie ratings, who also offered Radon and mold testing.. Purchasing a short sale home, we had a very short due diligence period. I contacted Home Probe on Thursday the 8th, and we were scheduled for the seller's first available opening on the 12th. Darryl Rapp arrived a bit early and set up the radon collector before we got there. He took us around and provided running commentary on what he checked, or didn't (non-destructive testing only; the probe is strictly visual), the results and reasons. The end result was a detailed illustrated report, to include the location (and access method) of all furnace/air-handler filters, as well as recommended priorities for handling the issues we found. Finally, he talked us thru the rough report, and sent a link to download the finished product later the same evening.. By its nature, the radon report was ready 48 hrs later. The termite letter is included and will be done the week before scheduled closing (June 11) due to its 30-day expiration. I feel much better going into closing , and assuming a mortgage, with this information.

Rael came on time and was done with the inspection by the time I got there. He went through the entire report with me on his tablet PC and also took me around the house to show me specific things he had noted in the report. I was very happy with the service provided.

Went well. Inspected items I didn't even think about(I have a degree in Industrial Engineering). Explained everything to my daughter in detail. Even explained maintenance of HVAC. Report was very detailed.

They were great and we would use them again.

Eric arrived right on time and took his time to complete a very thorough inspection. After he finished (2+ hours), he took additional time to walk me around the home, pointing out every item he noticed, and he educated me as we went about the HVAC, electrical system, gas fireplace, etc. The inspection was finished at 4:30 in the afternoon, and by the next morning I received an email with a 14-page report including photos. This report will be the basis of my discussions with the seller about any needed repairs. Overall, I am delighted with their service, and plan to hire Home Probe to inspect a home I plan to sell prior to listing.

Home Probe provided excellent services. Scheduling was easy and customer service representative was very friendly and professional. We had to reschedule the inspection once, and they were flexible ready to work with our schedule. Since we were moving from out-of-town and were unable to be present at inspection, the inspector spent quite a long time on the phone with us giving a detailed report. Inspector provided an excellent written by email within 24 hours and included multiple photos of problem areas.

Eric arrived 20 minutes early and had already inspected the roof when we arrived. He allowed us to follow him around and ask questions the entire time, and he was very thorough and patient in answering. The report was extremely detailed and helpful. In all, a great service!

I called on a Monday to schedule, and the inspector arrived on Wednesday about 30 minutes early. He worked for about 2.5 hours, explaining things along the way and answering any questions. All notes were on a computer and he took photos. He printed out and gave me the final report on the spot, explaining all that he'd done, what was needed on the house and what would be needed in the future.

Krista especially and Jeff were always professional and courteous. The reason why we canceled is because we were told by them that Georgia law required us to sign, or agree through an acknowledgment via email, an agreement before the inspection. No problem, but they included an unnecessary and unwelcome solicitation as part of the agreement. When we asked why the solicitation was in their agreement, we got what we felt was a rationalization. When we canceled via email, providing our reason, nobody every followed up with us. Although it had nothing to do with our canceling, we thought the price of $349. was a little high. We contracted with another inspection service for $275.

We were extremely satisfied with inspection. He found things that we would have never thought of in a million years, plus crawled around in our crawlspace, where it is only about 2 feet high and found lots of things that our seller did not disclose (mold, termite damage, moisture, etc). This allowed us to negotiate greatly on the purchase price of our home. He gave us lots of helpful hints too about caring for our home. We felt confident in buying our home after our inspection with Homeprobe.

The people at Home Probe were very accommodating of my schedule change and were able to make appointments with short notice. Their prices are great, and the inspector was prompt (early) and did a very thorough job inspecting my home. He did a great job. When I requested the report the same day (for deadline reasons), they were again able to accommodate me. The report was very detailed and my real estate agent was also impressed with their work.

Jeff was great. He went above and beyond what was expected. He allowed me to follow him while he did the inspection and explained each item to me. He was thorough and complete. He took pictures with the digital camera and sent a report with commentary and pictures. I was able to send the report to contractors and others to get opinions on repair costs and severity of issues. Thanks to the inspection, we avoided buying a house with a lot more problems than we thought. Jeff's pictures even contradicted the seller's termite inspector. Seller's home inspector claimed no structural issues, yet Jeff's report and pictures said otherwise. Jeff is an honest hard working guy and I would recommend to anyone. Don't rely on other parties' inspector. Make sure to get your own.

MR. LUTHER WAS EARLY TO ARRIVE. HE SPENT THREE HOURS GOING OVER THE HOME WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB. HE THEN WENT THROUGH THE REPORT WITH ME AFTER THE INSPECTION, LINE BY LINE. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, AND WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS ABOUT REMODELING AND ASBESTOS. HE ALSO EMAILED ME A COPY OF THE REPORT AND TOLD ME TO CALL HIM ANY TIME IF I NEEDED INFORMATION OR EVEN ADVICE. I RARELY RUN INTO SOMEONE AS PROFESSIONAL AND CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AS MR. LUTHER.
