Many other families in the area were completely blown away when Dr. Goo was let go and then again a few weeks later when Dr. Doyle was terminated. We've been left scrambling to find replacement care for our children. I have emailed the head of this company and many others I know who loved these doctors have done the same. The response was a dismissive form letter.
I would highly suggest avoiding this practice. Who knows if you will find a doctor that you like there. If you do, who knows if they will be there next time you need care.
We live close to Candler Park and used to use a much a larger Pedtriac Practice across town. After several visits using them as Urgent Care we actually made them our Primary Care practice.Probably our most annoying factor and reason we changed to Correct Med was with our previous practice was the fact you could have the first appt of the day and still wait 45 minutes.
Here I feel if you have scheduled appt you are in and out, but at the same time don't feel rushed. You don't feel that the doctor is trying to get on to the next patient. They take the time to answer your questions.
You really can't beat the availability. The hours for urgent care are also quite excellent as they are open every day and until 8:00PM every day. They have even answered questions via e-mail or phone so they are available.
This place is also very clean, and reminds more of visiting the doctor when I was child in a much smaller town. A more personal experience. Dr. Doyle as well has small children in the area and has quite a good understanding of what is going around with her kids in a nearby daycare. There are also a variety of other members of their team RN, Physicain Asstistants and doctors we have dealt with which has been positive.,
I would highly recommend this practice if your wee one is in need of urgent or primary care.
