Terrence Harris hired people to do work that didn’t know how. Cut the load bearing beam and covered it up with two pillars. The floor bracing isn’t complete so the floor will fall in eventually. Hid live wires in the wall with no covering. Had to buy a new back double door because the first one his contractor friend he (Terrence Harris)brought broke it. The outside wall has no Tyvex in it so it’s just boards and the siding, same thing on the back where the deck was added. The deck is not secure where the railings are. Terrence does not pay his contractors that work for him! Terrence gets what he calls a “Deposit”, which is usually half of the bill up front to secure the job but really it’s because he can’t finish the last job or jobs because he spends the money. Don’t hire this company! Terrence is not an honest person, he owes $1200 to two of his contractors already and refuses to pay! I’ll post the pictures of the places they worked…. He buys Alcohol and brings it to the job but no water or anything else and then takes pictures of the workers drinking to use against them later so he doesn’t have to pay them. One of the ones Terrence won’t pay has a Special Needs son and she’s a single mom and STILL told her to “Do what you gotta do”, so you see, he cannot be trusted! Shame on him for acting that way, always trying to figure out how to cheat someone out of something…. BEWARE!!!

"Unfortunately this review was made by a past employee, not a client. This employee is seeking revenge due to the fact that they were discharged from the job and let go from the company. Tiffany referred in this review as "[Member Name Removed]" and her assistant Angel were hired to finish the contracted work. When our Manager Terrance walked the job for a progress inspection, he noticed that the work was not being completed to our standard here at Emerald. He also noticed that their were empty containers of beer and alcohol in the contents that were being removed from the site. Drinking and showing up under the influence of any sort to a clients home is cause enough for immediate dismissal from the company. We have a zero tolerance for unprofessionalism. They were paid for the work that was completed and nothing further. We pride our company with complete satisfaction of our clients and would never leave a job in a bad condition. All of our contractors are professional and must go through a background check for the safety and satisfaction of our company and our clients. We no longer work with this employee and they are not getting much work in this industry because of their practices and conduct. This review is being investigated by Angi's and legal action will take place if harassment proceeds."

New Hard Wood Flooring was installed in my Master Bedroom, old carpet was removed at no charge & hardwood was Installed! 1day plus 1/4" molding. Very professional installation, they cleaned up & left, will refer & use again on my next home project! Satisfied Customer TS

I started with a couple of small projects and finally decided that Emerald was the company to go with for my deck project at home. The deck and retaining wall that they built was magnificent! I am super pleased and would recommend them for any job, big or small!

Terrance and his crew were awesome! They did a great job, the French doors look beautiful. They were able to closely match new flooring under the door and did the job quickly! We will definitely be using them again

Terrance Harris and I signed a contract on 8/21/23 for labor on bathroom remodel for $7000.00. I, Paulette,the client would supply the tiles,grout, supplies to complete the job. The next day he arrived to being the demo with another person. Demolition went well and then the nightmare begins. The tile was placed on the shower wall without water proofing….all that tile had to be torn down and cannot be reused because it had a lot of mortar that’s stuck on the tiles. They tiled the floor of shower without any type of drainage….where is the water suppose to go?? They eventually had to remove all that marble tile and needless to say all of it was RUINED. Couldn’t get in touch with Terrance for several days said he was getting help from his cousin’s tile guy…that eventually came but all he did was put cement on the bottom of the shower floor…a month later the shower floor is the same( just cement and a drain hole. I believe there’s some type of fraud because on one of my receipts from Home Depot it had another client’s information on it that’s out in California..but I paid for the materials . I’m not pleased with this company because they’re not professional at all. Tried putting the company’s name on line but all I’m seeing is a rental management company..and it doesn’t have Terrance Harris name anywhere. Terrence acknowledge that he owes me for the tiles as well as the shelves for the linen closet. On 9/16/23 I was informed via text that I’ll have the materials by 9/20/23. We also agreed to dissolve the contract on 9/16/23 and that all the materials ( tiles and shelvings) will be delivered by 9/20/23. As of today’s date…no materials were returned. I have pictures, texts and receipts to prove these allegations. The bedroom furniture is covered in dust from them cutting tile inside the bathroom without ventilation. The carpet has dried mortar on it. I’m not pleased with this company at all.

We corrected the issues she had with the job as well as refunding her for the broken tiles on a 'Labor Only' contract when she requested the waterproofing to be done after the shower was already 70% completed. She also received Free Work that was Not Paid for as discussed. By that time, we decided to cut our loss [Member Information Removed] dissolve the contract with the Client. As part of our beliefs [Member Information Removed] our integrity as a company; making our clients satisfied [Member Information Removed] happy is very important to us. As stated in the beginning , not all projects/clients are a good fit for each other so we provided Mrs. [Member Name Removed] a Cashiers Check [Member Information Removed] refunded her the cost of the broken tiles with the agreement of the dissolution.
