Chuck could not have been easier to work with. he responded within hours of my request even though it was made on a Sunday afternoon. By the end of the week the work was done a day sooner that he had originally estimated. I was concerned because my homeowners association required an exact replica of the existing gate, and he was very careful to do exactly what was required. the replacement is a real improvement over the original.

The price that was quoted to me was very fair and reasonable. Chuck and his wife came to my home as promised. I would definitely use their services again when needed.

Professional and on time.

Chuck did a great job for us. We needed the wire replaced on our split rail fence. Our dogs were able to get out of the yard by going under the old, rusted wire. Chuck replaced the wire with vinyl coated wire that won't rust and came up with a great way to apply tension at the bottom of the wire to make it much more secure. He showed as much concern for the safety of our dogs as we do. He did the work on time and at a very reasonable price. We will definitly recommend him to family and friends.

When we contacted Home Advisor regarding having our wooden gate repaired, Charles of A Better Built Fence called us within the hour. He was very courteous and professional both on the phone and in person. We had had other estimates for the repair, but all were out of our price range. When Charles saw our gate, he had a great suggestion on how to repair it and the cost was within our budget. When he came to do the work, he was finished within five hours and the final cost came in under budget! We feel confident that the gate will last for years to come. Mr. Chuck was very professional and did excellent work! I couldn't be there, but he let me know when he would arrive and what time he expected to be finished (he kept his word)! He replaced several wooden boards and the latch on the wooden gate. He also repaired a portion of my chain link fence. I couldn't be there, so he took pictures. I would definitely recommend him!

These were two of the nicest people that I have ever met. They did an excellent job and fixed seven areas of my chain link fence that trees had fallen on and damaged. The price was way beyond fair. I had expected it to be a lot more. I would have had it done years ago if I had known that it would be so reasonable, but then I would have had to do it again because of all of the trees that have fallen. In fact, after I had them do an estimate, a tree limb fell. I couldn't believe it. So, I sent them the picture and they brought extra material with them just in case. If another tree falls and damages the fence again, I will definitely call this company again.

After a lot of frustration dealing with fence companies who refused to come out to my house to do an estimate, would not return my calls, and/or could not fit me in for almost two months, I used the Home Advisor website on a recommendation from a co-worker. Within maybe 15 minutes of putting in my information on the website, Carrie East called to get more information about the work I needed done and to set up a time to come out for an estimate. She and her husband Chuck were out the same week to do the estimate. What really impressed me was that they were willing to come out at 6 pm on a Friday to accommodate my schedule. They gave a fair quote, showed me pictures of work they had done before, and I hired them on the spot. Chuck came out the following Tuesday (June 2nd) to do the work. The night before, he called to confirm the appointment. He replaced 12 boards on my wood fence, adjusted hinges, replaced a latch on one gate, and added a new drop rod to my double gate. He did not charge me for the latch or drop rod since he already had these materials and he'll be back to paint the new boards after they dry from all the rain we've had. Chuck and Carrie are professional, fair, down-to-earth, perform high-quality and timely work, and have been a pleasure to work with. My next door neighbor also hired them for repair work on their fence and I'm recommending them to everyone I know. Do not hesitate to hire A Better Built Fence and you will be very glad you did.
