I contacted King Tree Experts to get an estimate on the work I needed done. Mr Lee King gave me an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time and reviewed my job. It was a heavy trim of 1 maple tree and 2 very large live oak trees. I wanted all 3 trimmed so no branches overhung our house or air conditioning unit. I also wanted a complete cleanup when finished. He gave me an estimate and made a note of where the septic system, drainage field and waterlines were located. The estimate was more then fair based on my research so we made an appointment. He called a couple of days before to verify that the day was good. 
The crew arrived about an hour before the estimated time, reviewed my requirements and set to work. They knew exactly what I wanted done so it truly was a quick review while they set up the equipment. They did the trim, cleaned up the yard and had me ok everything and were gone in less then 2 hours. 
A couple of comments, the work crew was clean and professional, well dressed in King Tree clothes. They were careful around the septic drainage field and water lines. I had not performed any spring cleaning on the front yard or side where the trees were located since I knew they would be doing the work. When the cleaned up the work areas including the driveway and street they left everything in equal to or better shape then when they arrived.
It was pleasure doing business with them and I plan on using them again at the end of the yea.

I am an amateur radio operator who lives in
Buckhead and needed a person to climb two trees to screw in an eyelet in each
tree.  I can later use the eyelets to hang an antenna from the trees.
 So I called King Tree Experts on Wednesday to explain what I needed.
 The person who answered said "Lee" is the man but he was not in
today, that he would call tomorrow.  On Thursday, I called back, not
having heard from Lee.  The person who answered put me on hold and came
back to say that Lee is ?not interested?.  
 This experience is particularly troublesome to
me since the first sentence on their website says that "no job is too big
or too small."  I can only conclude they just don't care.  That
is unfortunate, because there are a good number of trees in my yard that need
work from time to time, and in the yards of many friends in Buckhead and around
Atlanta.  You can bet I will not be recommending these people to my
friends.

This was the second time I had used King Tree Experts.  On January 13, Lee King arrived at the agreed upon time to provide an estimate.  He indicated that his crew would arrive on January 15 at a specific time, and they were right on time.  While it was a wet, cold day, they immediately set about to remove five large oak trees, and trim up a sixth tree.  The job was completed to our total satisfaction.  A treat dealing with such professionals!

They arrived on time examined the best way to remove the tree. Took the pressure off the tree by using a wench on a Bobcat, started removing the limbs from the tree to relieve the pressure from the tree, cut the tree up in sections, mulched the limbs, and tree trunk.  Raked the area where the tree was formerly.

Removed the tree in a timely manner and at a competitive price.  They did such a good job that I can't even tell they were here...in and out in no time.  No mess or leftovers from the tree at all...zero.

The entire experience was top notch from quote to completion. 
Lee King arrived on time to preview the work and provided a timely quote. The work was performed in a timely manner from the date the quote was issued. 
When the King Tree Experts team arrived onsite on the date promised, I was amazed to see all the equipment to be used. Clearly, these guys are pros. It shows when they show up onsite. Their equipment was clean and looked well-maintained.
They began the work by placing wood planks over my grass and happily, with all the equipment they moved in and out throughout the day, including a dump truck and cranes, no grass or other plants were noticeably damaged. 
I was amazed at how smooth the removal went--no slamming trees on the ground or dents in my sod, as we had experienced with another provider. Just cranes lowering separated branches and pieces carefully to the ground, so they could be chipped. 
After removing all the threes, a team member grinded out all the stumps as a small team removed the chips with a Bobcat and bucket, and smoothed the areas where trees had been removed. Finally, the team leader blew off the entire work area, including the road in front of my house, leaving very little trace at all that they had been there. 
This is a great company, folks, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Really great service overall!
There is a difference in tree removal companies, and I think these guys set the standard.
By the way, I obtained four quotes to do the work, and King Tree Experts wasn't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive. Lee was willing to negotiate on the price, which I appreciated.

This is the second time this year that King Tree Experts were at my home to remove several large pine trees.  I called them back because they are professionals who know what they're doing and because of the excellent work ethic.  Everything done is with care and precision.
Andy and his team are the best.  They take extra care not to damage any other trees or shrubs in the yard and always exceed my expectations.
I realized that in these days, when a company has ratings of "excellent" and I've had them to my house because of their excellent score (I can think of a roofing company in particular), in reality, they were not excellent, but mediocre.  Maybe the "new" excellent is mediocre. I don't know.
So, thank you King Tree Experts.  It's nice to know that EXCELLENCE stills exists!

They were very careful and didn't damage other landscaping in my yard or other trees. They have excellent clean up practices and they are a very professional and nice group of guys. The service is always prompt and courteous. I can't say enough about their work ethic, really fantastic work every time.

They were great. They came out when they said they would come out. They were very professional and did a great job. They are coming back tomorrow as a matter of fact.

Excellent service. Lee came for estimate and was very knowledgeable.  They removed 2 mature trees and cleared small trees and brush.  Crew of 5. They also took care not to damage yard with machinery and laid plywood sheets where bobcat traveled in yard.

King Tree Experts arrived at my house with a small army of trucks, equipment, and men.  These guys don't mess around  -- they got straight to work and took care of the whole job in less than an hour.  They work as a highly coordinated and efficient team with each person knowing exactly what he should do and when.  Very impressive.  
One thing that attracted me to use King Tree was that they use a lift to get the person at height rather than using a climber.  That seems a lot safer to me and it also allows them to get the job done faster.
King Tree?  Based on my experience, I'd call them Tree King!

ALL went very well. Crew was extremely organized and their teamwork was outstanding.  Neighbors across the street called and said thanks for the "entertainment"; referencing the show of professionalism they watched!!

I dealt with King Tree only over the phone, as it was at a rental home of mine.  They went by the house, sent me a quote, and later removed the tree when I ok'ed it.  They did a thorough, professional job, on-time and for the price they quoted me.  When they sent me the quote they also sent me proof of insurance, and I appreciated that.
From getting the quote through final payment they were professional and easy to deal with.  And unlike a few others, they didn't insist I be there for the quote, or give a deposit before they started.  All in all, very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.
