Many know this "little red building," for it has been used as a landmark for locals and travelers for many decades. Throughout the years, this family owned spot has been the success point for several small buinesses many of us remember and treasure,These businesses include:The original used-car lot (owned and operated by both Richard Stanton Harper, Sr. and Jr.), Jennie's Styling Salon, Amy's Salon, Louise's Little Bake Shop, Kristie's Styling Salon, and others. I am Kristie Harper, the grandaughter of Richard Stanton Harper, Sr. (known to many as Penny or Dick), and this is my corner of the world dedicated to me by my 'Papa' when I was a tiny girl running around in the hay fields. Like my Papa and Grandmother, my Mother (owner of Jennie's Styling Salon), my father, and many others in my family, I am an entrepreneur.
