This place is racist!!!!! Came to my home and told me I live in the ghetto, looked at my black neighbor and told me to 'be careful' here in Carrollton. We are Puerto Rican and had lived here 1 week at that point. The owner Jolie just told me that she knew of the racist worker and that they sent me a letter apologizing. Here is the letter. She (the owner) said that she wasn't responsible for the people who work for her!! Well, I paid 10k in flooring with this place and they wouldn't come back to fix the floors because I called them out on their racist workers!! I have all of the audio and video and texts of the proof. The certified letter I signed for sure admitted to the behavior, but she said they owe me no apologies

The carpet installation was done in Fall 2012.  It was problematic within the one year warranty period - we began having ripples and bubbles in every area throughout the house.  To their credit, they were out half a dozen times from Fall 2013 to Fall 2014 to stretch and otherwise work on the issues. Unfortunately, every effort they make results in new bubbles and ripples, some of which are unsightly and some of which are trip hazards for my small children.
This past month, I asked them to say enough is enough with me.  I suggested that after so many repair efforts, we have to call this a lemon job and stop the endless cycle.  In an effort to be reasonable, I suggested a 50% refund of the cost of the labor and materials from the carpet installation.  The manager scoffed and told me the issues were minor and to be expected as weather changes.  I reminded him that the dozen current issues are new and getting worse...and just after September's repairs!  I also told him I've lived in many areas of the country with lower quality carpet that has never done this.
Since we were at an impasse, I asked for help from the Better Business Bureau and wrote a letter to their owner, John Atherton.  Unfortunately, this hasn't brought us to resolution.  Dalton Carpet Outlet continues - quite oddly in my family's opinion - to say that simple repairs need to be done.  We continue to believe that we've given them a year to fix warranty-qualifying issues, they haven't been able to do so, and that the issue requires a different resolution.  As an alternative to a partial refund, we've suggested credit toward a non-carpet product since we were happy with their woodwork.  We even suggested that we would give them one more chance at repairs if they would agree to a refund should the repairs not hold within a 3 month window (and we are confident they won't).
I would love help from Angie's List, or at least to warn future customers.  These guys don't hold their warranties and aren't reasonable!  I'm happy to share pictures!

We called them and they came out the same day to measure the house for carpet.
And then installed it two days later.
The company is very professional and friendly.
We are very happy with our experience and would use them again.

I really can't say enough about this company. My experience with them from the estimate to installing the new flooring was a good one. I had shopped around for flooring for a while so I knew what I wanted. The Installers came out on time, removed old carpet, and installed the new floors. From start to finish I can say all were pros, but friendly. They also kept me in the loop about every room they worked in. They also moved my furniture and then ask if they had it back in the spot I wanted it.

They were extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They were very clean. I shopped them real good so their price was good. I've had it for three months now and I am still extremely happy. They came out and gave us a free estimate. They got back with us and they were very prompt about doing that. They were punctual considering the Atlanta traffic. I am thinking about having them do my basement now.
