Hoy Construction is an awful general contractor. They walked out on the job without finishing, left damage to the property, and in effect stole money as they were paid for work they did not complete. Was hired in Oct 2016 and last communication was Jul 2016. Our basement was not completed. Prior to walking out on the job with no notice and no communication, Hoy rarely put in a full weeks worth of work. When they did show up it was often at 1000 and they would leave between 200 and 300 pm. I am now having to resort to litigation to get my money back. Hoy Construction has no concept on how to run a business and makes promises they will not meet. Do not hire them ever. A horrible company that is unethical - avoid at all costs.
