SILVERSTEIN'S CLEANERS

Totally ruined the logo on a brand new company table cloth and then refused to admit to error or rectify the situation.

Our tablecloth was ruined.  Not only did Silverstein's cleaners not remove the stains,  it warped and puckered our company's logo.  When I pointed this out to the manager at the Washington Rd location, he acted as if nothing was wrong.  When I complained that the logo was not in the same condition as when I brought it in, he acted as if he didn't care.  He made no effort to rectify the situation.  He basically said there was nothing he could do, and said the price would need to be paid in full.  He said if I still had an issue I could go to their  other location and talk to the owner.  I called the owner and he was pleasant.  He instructed me to go to the other location the next day and talk to the ladies there.  When I went to the other location and showed the clerk there our tablecloth, she implied that it should have never been dry cleaned in the first place and it wasn't their fault the tablecloth was ruined.  So then why take it and say you can clean it without harming it? Her response was I can't help you, talk to the owner.  She was very rude.  Neither location was willing to come to an agreement or provide a solution.  We now have to order a new tablecloth in order to get  a professional looking display.  I would not recommend taking a specialty item to these cleaners.  I don't know how effective they are at cleaning regular clothing items.
