Electrolux Major Appliances

I will sing Electrolux's praises to anyone who wants to listen. We bought the new refrigerator and the ice maker went out so since it was still under warranty the company sent new parts and a technician to repair it. Three months later the ice maker went out again and it was still under warranty so they replaced the entire refrigerator. Lowes delivered the refrigerator and they were very personable as well. Dealing with Electrolux was phenomenal because of their high commitment to customer service. I will use them again in the future.

I bought an Electrolux refrigerator/freezer from Lowes with new type of icemaker. One that appeared to make easily crunchable ice cubes. I eat ice all day, so this model was the best one for me. I purchased an extended warranty from Lowes; this warranty would kick in the day after my 1 year after date of purchase (10/27/09). During the original warranty period, the icemaker broke many times and Electrolux sent repairman after repairman over to either repair or replace it or its parts. No matter what repair was made, the icemaker only ever worked for about 3 months at a time. After my 1 year was up, the Lowes warranty kicked in. Twice since October 2010, they had to send a tech in to repair/replace the  icemaker. We knew that if it was a lemon, Lowes would replace the machine. When asked to replace our refrigerator/freezer, Lowes said no. I called Electrolux. Without even a second’s hesitation, they said yes. We had a brand new refrigerator/freezer within 5 days. Yay Electrolux! Thank you!

It took much more effort on my part than it should have to get an adequate response to the problems encountered. However, Electrolux did eventually resolve the problem to my satisfaction.
