Thrifty Movers

I must admit that I never write reviews but I felt that I really needed to write this one.  When I contracted with this company, I had not read the reviews on Angie's List.  I paid my deposit and THEN saw the reviews.  I was really scared that things were going to go badly.  However I was pleasantly surprised.
I was told the movers would arrive between 2pm and 4pm.  I received a call from the driver at 2pm stating that it would be between 3-330 when they got there.  They arrived right at 330pm as he said.
There were 3 men, George, Maurice, and Prince.  All 3 were polite, professional, and worked quickly.  They wrapped all of my furniture in plastic and used furniture pads on the larger items.  They did not scratch the floors or ding the walls while moving my furniture out.
Once at the new home, they placed all of the furniture exactly where I wanted it.  Again, no scratches on the floors or dings in the walls.  I heard one of them say that they needed to hurry to make sure that they did not go over the 3 hours I had already paid for which I thought was great!  I was really expecting that the movers would take their time specifically to go over the hours but they did not.
I had an awesome experience with this company and would use them again provided that I got the same 3 men!

Most horrible experience ever.  Bought a $99 for 2 hours, 2 men and a moving truck from Amazon Local.  When I called to book they informed me there was a 3 hour minimum even though that was not indicated on the Amazon Local site.  Was informed the addition 1 hour would be $65 dollars so I reluctantly agreed.  When truck arrived the guys loaded the truck in 30 mins, drove 25 mins and then unloaded in 20 mins.  After that they tried to tell me the bull was $275.  I laughed and said no way, and provided a check for $65 as agreed.  They call the owner and she threatened to call the police.  After trying to talk to her she hung up and would not get back on the phone with me.  I told them to go ahead and call the police so we waited for them to show up.  Police arrived and said they were wasting their time and there was no criminal activity here.  I paid the $65 in cash to the drivers and they left.
I have never had such a horrible experience in my life.  
Beware of this company as they will try and screw you or call the cops.  There is no way they have a BBB A+ rating.  That is clearly a lie.
