Disastrous! Original day of installation, Fred was 2 hours late! He then asked to reschedule for the following day. Whereupon he was half an hour late. As I live in a condo complex, there are certain rules regarding use of elevator, guest/service worker parking, work schedules, etc, and I explained this to him. His attitude was very stressful. He seemed to take umbrage with every question I asked and/or every statement that was made to him regarding what could or could not be done according to the building rules. He initially said to me that he would be able to complete the base cabinets by a certain hour so that the countertop technician could come take measurements and devise a template. After confirming an appointment for mid-afternoon with the stone company, he then reneged, saying it would not be possible to complete the base cabinets before 5:00 PM. Apparently, some time later, the Building Super had words with either Fred or one of his workers about their illegal parking spaces, unauthorized use of a locked utility room (I'm still unclear as to how them managed access to this room!) amongst other issues. Then, the Super came to me to explain that building rules were being violated and I was in danger of being fined. I returned to the set-up area and restated where they were allowed to park, even after initially telling Fred he was not allowed to park in a spot clearly marked: NO PARKING! he parked there. Amazing! I returned to the office in my apartment and 15 minutes later, received a telephone call from Fred saying he had abandoned the project and I needed to find a new installer. I asked why. His response was that he did not like being yelled at. I asked who yelled at him. He replied the building super. He further stated that he and his workers felt that I was "watching over them too much." I asked, why did he not afford me an opportunity to correct this issue prior to his leaving the job site. He had no response. In the end, he left me without any help to complete the install. I had to desperately call around Atlanta for someone to just come to my apartment to pull the cabinets out of the corridor. It took three days to finally find a company able to install the cabinets and demolish the existing cabinets. And in that time, the cabinets sat in my living room. This was a very frustrating experience. This company is not at all serious. I've never had such an awful encounter with men I've hired to work for me...ever! I've bought and renovated at least 25 properties over the last 5 years in three separate states and have encountered many different types of strange people. This was by far the worst experience!!!!
