Estes Services - HVAC Plumbing & Electrical

I used Estes for my semi-annual HVAC check up. The techs are always courteous and efficient and take time to explain any issues that they discover. Estes has taken care of my HVAC gear for over 10 years now, and I see no need to change.

The technitian did a though job on inspecting both units. He answered all my questions. I would request for teh technitian to come next time. Very polite gentleman. Thank you, Estes!!!

Best estimate, great service, all Dekalb Co paperwork cleared inspection and they help me obtain a $400 rebate for GA Power in a 2018 incentive.

I have been using Estes Services for years and have a maintenance contract with them. They are prompt and professional. They just replaced my air conditioning at my new residence last year. Great people working there.

This zoning system was done approximately 4-1/2 years ago. Within the first 1-2 years we had to call them several times for problems with the unit. Recently in May 2019 one of the dampers in the master bathroom malfunctioned. They came out approximately three times before they repaired this item. Each time we 59.00 for them to come out. Recently the dampers in the office and secondary bedroom went out. They came out, another 59.00 charge. We were told the problem was the master bathroom again and that this piece that was replaced was an older item that is no longer used but now is malfunctioning. They no longer use this part any longer but used the last few to replace our damper. We were told today they would contact us about replacing this piece AGAIN but of course we have not heard from anyone. I wish we had never ever used them from the very beginning. The service sucks!!!!

Estes is always great- knowledgeable and professional. I have a maintenance package with them where hey come out twice a year to make sure everything is working well, and they have been incredibly helpful when things need to be fixed! Would definitely recommend them.

Excellent service with water heater and electrical. Technicians were prompt and very knowledgeable.

Estes has done manyl projects for us, including--updating our electrical circuit box, fire alarm, and carbon monoxide alarm; also outside lighting, and wiring for an outlet for a new sump pump.

Very nice and professional. Also honest and let me know everything that needed to be done plus went out of his way to take care of the problem the same day. Very thankful and would recommend.

Service technician came out and told us we needed a compressor that this was the sole cause of our air conditioner problem. The cost was $2,085. They told me it would be good to get their "Preventive Maintenance" that this would save me money on any future service calls. Agreed to get the compressor. Once the compressor was installed, the home was not cooling. Placed another call to them the technician came out and indicated he had punched holes in the system, by accident, but fixed it. Had to make a third call because it only cooled for a little while, and had to pay another service call fee of $79,00, minus $10-20 because I was paying for the Preventative Maintenance Program, (wow). On this service call, was told there was a bad coil in the attic, that it would cost another $1,700, plus $600 for labor for a total of $2,300 to get this fixed. These charges add up to $5,000+ which could be put towards a new air conditioner. I called and tried to cancel my preventative maintenance and they advised that if I did, they would have to add another $1,000 to my bill. So now we are talking about $6,000+. Watch out for the "Preventative Maintenance Program" offer, don't fall for it. I am now paying for an air conditioner that is not working. Please don't fall into this trap like I did. My advice to anyone with air conditioning problems once they say the compressor is gone, to just purchase a new one. By all means do not buy into the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Basically, they checked the toilets and determined nothing was wrong. However, my Hal bath toilet. Still doesn’t flush on occasion. There is something wrong and I just can’t pinpoint what it is exactly. Perhaps I should have hired a company that focuses on plumbing.

Because of the pandemic, I have not let anyone in my home for routine maintenence per my contract. I have use Estes for my plumbing checks and installation for a new air conditioner. I have no complaints; they always do a good job.

Courteous, professional, and easy to work with from scheduling to project completion. I have now used Estes to replace two A/C units and replace some leaky pipes. They have my total confidence.
