Estes Services - HVAC Plumbing & Electrical

Actually, I ended up needing a whole new water tank. So, I bought and had ESTES install the tankless water system. I couldn't have for a better team of guys to handle it. They were awesome.

Cleaned out brush around outside air conditioning units that was not part of their job. Grateful for that!

Service went very well, arrived at time of appointment, knew the systems and handles a couple of issues before they were "problems". Would rather deal with an issue rather than waiting for something to become a problem, especially with 90+ degree days. No surprises.]pdBb,j,v

We got a new AC unit last fall. When we started using it this summer, the breaker kept tripping. We have a maintenance plan with Estes for electric problems, so they came to have a look. Tried something the first time they came, and it seemed okay for about a week, and then the breaker tripped again, so they came back and tried something else, but that didn't work long either. The problem was that the AC and furnace share the same blower or condenser something or other, and that was probably causing the breaker to trip. I asked if they could run a separate line for the AC, and they came back to do that, and we haven't had the problem since then. So they stuck with it until it was finally fixed for good, I hope. We have used Estes for heating and AC for decades, and they have always treated us fairly. We have maintenance contracts for that, and added electrical and plumbing. They are a well run outfit, they have very good workers and sales people who have always respected our property inside and out, as well as us. We have purchased and had them install a new furnace and three AC units over the years, and they have serviced them both and fixed anything when needed. This is a company we trust, and can recommend without hesitation.

Great, the leak was found and fixed quickly

I have used them for years. They have never disappointed me. They take GREAT care in all they do. I am on their maintaince program. They installed a new system last Nov. ...it looks like a work of art....even the city inspecter said so !

Excellent service from start to finish!

My complaints with Estes are they overcharged me for the new unit in 2015 by over $3000. The line that contains freon was not replaced. We used them in 1994 to replace the original unit that was in the house when we purchased it in 1990. That freon line should have been replaced then but was not. There is much more to the story. Now they tell me that the freon line should be replaced because there is a leak. If the line had been replace during either of the whole unit installations, I would not be having AC problems. I did not request work from Estes Services because of all the bad reviews on The Better Business Breau's web-site !!! In what appears to be retaliation, Estes Services hired a company to fraudulently acquire my social security number. Although I have never signed or agreed to have Estes provide any services they sent negative information to all of the credit reporting agencies which has caused serious problems for my family my business and myself !! I spoke to one of the senior managers and I am of the impression that he was personally responsible for the illegal activity !! please please do your home work before using this company !!!

The service I receive from Estes normally goes very well.

I've used Estes previously and was impressed with their service. Unfortunately can't say same this time. Came back from a trip on Friday to find a/c inop - called Estes (it was in mid-high 90's in GA) - was more than willing to pay for "extra" service over weekend but lady on phone was less than interested in the immediacy factor. Service scheduled for Monday - tech came out - clogged drain/pipe - supposedly cleaned and said I also needed coil replaced - they would have to order part. Almost $400 for this visit and it would be $700 or so for coil installation. Unit wasn't running at full steam when tech left and stopped completely after approx. 1 hr. Decided to call another company in for verification that these were the issues. That company came in - (again - clogged pipes -did Estes not clean them?) Cleaned pipes and for half the price has been working fine ever since. I've tried several times to find an answer to my questions ( why did it cost double; second company obviously cleaned pipes so what did Estes do and was the coil just an up charge?) It's now been heading into three weeks and still waiting for response from Estes. I would be very cautious after this experience doing any business with Estes.

It went very well. Plumbers arrived on time. They assessed the problems and explained what was needed. Once agreed upon necessary work, they proceeded to do the job. We are very pleased with completion of the job.

Great work, great service, and they even take pics of your ducts. I now have a maintenance agreement with them.
