Ok but needed some art installed that was not apart of my contract which the service person had on the truck

Identified issue (in advance) that lead to an eventual unit breakdown and replacement. We tries to string out the unit's life but were warned that it would be short lived and they were 100% correct.

Went as planned - routine maintenance

Service was done quickly and professionally.

Service technician came out and told us we needed a compressor that this was the sole cause of our air conditioner problem. The cost was $2,085. They told me it would be good to get their "Preventive Maintenance" that this would save me money on any future service calls. Agreed to get the compressor. Once the compressor was installed, the home was not cooling. Placed another call to them the technician came out and indicated he had punched holes in the system, by accident, but fixed it. Had to make a third call because it only cooled for a little while, and had to pay another service call fee of $79,00, minus $10-20 because I was paying for the Preventative Maintenance Program, (wow). On this service call, was told there was a bad coil in the attic, that it would cost another $1,700, plus $600 for labor for a total of $2,300 to get this fixed. These charges add up to $5,000+ which could be put towards a new air conditioner. I called and tried to cancel my preventative maintenance and they advised that if I did, they would have to add another $1,000 to my bill. So now we are talking about $6,000+. Watch out for the "Preventative Maintenance Program" offer, don't fall for it. I am now paying for an air conditioner that is not working. Please don't fall into this trap like I did. My advice to anyone with air conditioning problems once they say the compressor is gone, to just purchase a new one. By all means do not buy into the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Basically, they checked the toilets and determined nothing was wrong. However, my Hal bath toilet. Still doesn’t flush on occasion. There is something wrong and I just can’t pinpoint what it is exactly. Perhaps I should have hired a company that focuses on plumbing.

The technicians are always prompt and polite. They explained what was done and any concerns I need to know.

All Estes employees are very professional. This is a good company.

Overall Estes has performed both HVAC and electrical services for the past several years for our family. Strongly recommend.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be more complex that a routine inspection. The system was shutting itself off and 3 tech calls within 36 hours were necessary. Estes responded quickly and demonstrated a commitment to providing good service and a satisfactory result.

I have used ESTES for several years now & have annual service for heating & air conditioning. So far they have done very good work.

We had a yearly contract with Estes. We actually had an emergency call because our AC stopped in the summer. They came the first time and said since I had not turned the AC off, it was frozen and they had to come back. Was charged for that. They came back and said it was a freon leak, which was not fixed. They charged me to put a lot more freon in it so it would run. They wanted to come back a 3rd time to run a leak check or price a new machine. I would have liked for all of this to be done in one visit. I also have tried contacting them to cancel our contract, and I am still being billed.

Service person was very informative and professional.

Their service person was more interested in selling than in service. He told us all the things that were wrong, ow much it would cost and it was in thousands of dollars. We could set up a monthly payment plan He scared us. We have since gone to a local service company.

They showed up on schedule and completed their inspection and work in a timely manner.

I was told no problem could be found, but my home was not staying cool. I purchased a 1 year 3 visit service package. 7 days later I had to call on Sat an emergency. It was 89 degrees in my home the condenser needed to be replaced., another company teplaced it at 9p.m that night.

I've used Estes previously and was impressed with their service. Unfortunately can't say same this time. Came back from a trip on Friday to find a/c inop - called Estes (it was in mid-high 90's in GA) - was more than willing to pay for "extra" service over weekend but lady on phone was less than interested in the immediacy factor. Service scheduled for Monday - tech came out - clogged drain/pipe - supposedly cleaned and said I also needed coil replaced - they would have to order part. Almost $400 for this visit and it would be $700 or so for coil installation. Unit wasn't running at full steam when tech left and stopped completely after approx. 1 hr. Decided to call another company in for verification that these were the issues. That company came in - (again - clogged pipes -did Estes not clean them?) Cleaned pipes and for half the price has been working fine ever since. I've tried several times to find an answer to my questions ( why did it cost double; second company obviously cleaned pipes so what did Estes do and was the coil just an up charge?) It's now been heading into three weeks and still waiting for response from Estes. I would be very cautious after this experience doing any business with Estes.
