For the last four months the company has missed our scheduled delivery date, we call to ask why we've been missed (again) and receive nothing more than a flat apology. When calling the company to follow up, one can expect to be on hold for at least twenty minutes. Don't bother to send an email either, they never respond. Ignore any promises of speedy delivery, it's taken up to a week to get our water. Still waiting for your latest delivery, it's been 10 days and counting........ I would not recommend Crystal Springs delivery to anyone.

STAY AWAY! Terrible service, no followup.. Impossible to reach their "customer service" by phone or email or through their website. Does anyone actually work there? Problems vary from short delivery, delivery to wrong area, not providing receipt following delivery, not checking in to see how many bottles go to each area, etc. I get "canned" responses to my emails asking for assistance, no one ever calls, the 800 # they provide for "critical" issues is a busy signal, and on and on. Do not use this company!
Description of Work: The provider was engaged to provide water delivery service to our offices (3 areas). We have used them for approximately 6 months since they bought out a small vendor who was providing service to us. I can't put approx. cost of service because it varies according to order.

I have been getting Crystal Springs water through Costco for about a year. About a month ago, the water cooler that they provided us started leaking so I called customer service and tried to get a replacement. Customer service promised that they would deliver a replacement water cooler in 2 days. However, after about 1 month, not only that they didn't deliver the replacement water cooler, they also stopped delivering water to us. I tried calling customer service again but no one ever picked up the phone. The last time I called, I waited for about 45 minutes and still no one picked up the phone.
Description of Work: Provide water cooler and deliver 5 bottles of 5-gallons water every month.

Everything has been mostly great until about 3 months ago. We have had a budget plan (Four 5 gallon spring water containers) delivered every 4 weeks. We love the water and have had no issues... until.... 3 months ago.... We suddenly started getting the wrong water delivered (purified water) and sporadic deliveries. When you have sporadic deliveries, you don't leave the empty bottles out and they stack up. We have called DS Waters (the company that seems to manage the call center for Crystal Springs) and we literally have waited 20 minutes each time for a representative. Each time, they tell me that I am on a plan that gets purified water, yet for the last 3 years I have been getting spring water. In addition, my bill shows spring water. They are very nice and say that they are updating the account and will send the delivery driver out within 2 days. That never happens, the water sits out on the driveway for 2-3 weeks until the next scheduled delivery. Very frustrating and unfortunately we canceled service. I would have happily continued if they would have fixed their problems. Lastly, there was literally no attempt to change my decision when I called in. They were apologetic and advised when the final pickup would be. Beware! I hope they get their act together again.
Description of Work: We have had Crystal Springs deliver spring water (5-gallon/each) for over 3 years. We also rented a water cooler/heater from them as well.

We have used Crystal Springs for 2 1/2 years for delivery of 5-gallon bottles, 1/2 liter flats of water, and rental of a hot/cold water cooler. There really aren't any other delivery options for my address, and it was better than going to Costco and lugging it all home myself. But in the past 6 months or so, I've had multiple problems with them: - I made changes to what I wanted delivered online multiple times, but the changes disappeared, so I had to call or email to make any changes to my order from month to month - As others have commented, every call has significant wait times, but once someone is on the phone, they are generally friendly and helpful - Several times we just would not get our delivery at all on the days it was supposed to come - no notice ahead of time, no attempt on their part to reschedule - I would have to call them to make them come back for my delivery - When our first cooler stopped heating/cooling water, they brought a replacement cooler but started charging a higher rate for the rental fee - I called to have this reversed, and they accommodated me, but it was a hassle The straw that broke the camel's back: Our cooler leaked water all over the kitchen floor, so I tried to call to have a new cooler brought to us - every time I called any of the customer service phone numbers, I was either disconnected or simply heard a busy signal. I tried sending emails to the customer service email address, and I did not get any response. I tried calling the number of the delivery guy, but never heard back. Finally after trying every day or two for nearly four weeks (!) to get through on the phone at different times of the day, I got through and decided I can't be in business with a company that I can't contact when I need to, so I cancelled our service. His only explanation for why I couldn't get through to them was that they had been experiencing high call volume - if call volume is so high so much of the time, the company ought to be expanding their customer service team & systems to handle it. I haven't found another delivery company to come to my address, so it looks like I'll be making water runs to Costco now. NOTE: I rated the company a D in professionalism, but this is strictly because I believe it is unprofessional to have so little concern over customers who have problems and cannot get through to the customer service team - the actual employees I've spoken with have always been very cordial and professional.
Description of Work: After 2 1/2 years of water delivery, the service has gone so far downhill I finally cancelled. When my water cooler leaked water all over my kitchen, it took nearly 4 weeks to finally get through to someone on their customer service line.

Every time I have to call C/S there is at least a 15 min wait. Hopefully you can do something else while you're waiting!! I've had several problems with my account since they bought out our local independent water delivery service. What a disappointment. Had to deal with them to offer the same price previously paid - they were charging me an additional $30/month Delivery date kept changing. We asked for bottles with handles. Told it would be noted on the account. Still get bottles without handles. Very difficult to lift. Costs kept appearing on the account. Had to keep on them to make sure they got credited. When I called to question what that charge was, they couldn't tell me anything other than everyone gets charged that. Delivery day arrives and no delivery. I call and am told the driver is on his way. Please don't lie to me. My empty bottles are still sitting out in front of my garage. On the search for a new water delivery service. Highly recommend staying away!
Description of Work: The provider did nothing -- they did not make water delivery. When I called I was told they contacted the driver and he was on his way. That was a big LIE!

I was spending 60ish dollars a month on 7-8 case of bottled water weekly. This is why I wanted this service it was cheaper and was trying to save some money. They showed up on 5/30/15 for the first delivery. I was due to have bottle exchange on 6/4/15. Belive it or not we were already out of water by 6/3/15, so I had planned on getting more water jugs. Well no came, got home from work called multiple times to get this fixed. I was told I will get a delivery on 6/9/15. Well After reading their reviews on Angie's List I have suspision I probally wont get any water then. So I am canceling already.
Description of Work: We just ordered this service, our first initial delivery was 5/30/15. They delivered 3-5gallon water jugs and the water cooler.

We purchase a water cooler at Costco from DS Waters of America, Inc. (which is the company who delivers Crystal Springs water to our home) in February 2014. The price for 5 gallons of water is great! But as of May 2015 I have spoken with the customer service dept for the company at least 11 times since beginning a every-4-weeks delivery schedule with them in Feb. 2014. The deliveries are screwed up consistently and the billings also have been messed up at times - they do double billings, bill when you have not received water, etc. After putting up with ME having to spend MY time calling into them at least 11 times in a year and 3 months of doing business with them, I tired of it. I went online today and looked up reviews for them and they have ratings of "D"s and "F"s across the board. On Yelp, Angie's List, BBB, etc. Save yourself sometime and look up who delivers water to your area that is NOT DS Waters of America, Inc. aka Crystal Springs. Arrowhead and Deer Park do not deliver on the East Coast so find a local water delivery company in your area. I'll be checking out the ones near to me. Good Luck, everyone.

Called to say they would be coming, and did not come. Provided filtered water instead of spring water. I could not get them to simply replace the number of 5 gallon bottles I left out. They simply don't care.

Surprising they could be so bad with such consistency. Never came when they were supposed to. Often billed me but didn't show up. Had to literally call every month to find out why they didn't show. Screwed up when I called to change service and cancel as well. Everyone is super nice on the phone but there is either an absurd level of either incompetence or they simply don't care about getting things right. I almost think they mess up on purpose because you couldn't be that off that often by accident.

I signed up for the service and had the first delivery of 4 5-gallon bottles. When time came for the next delivery I wanted to delay. I called customer service- put on hold for 45 minutes. By the time I got through I decided I was done with this company. I told them to cancel my service. They cancelled the delivery but it resumed for the next one. Had to go through calling them again. Terrible customer service. Would never use them again.

Would receive monthly reminder calls for impending deliveries that NEVER came. Canceled service after 10 years and was told they are aware of a problem with deliver in my area...Im not a remote area, so they understand why Im canceling. Still have 4 bottles out front that they have not picked up so we can get our $60 deposit back on them and be COMPLETELY done with them. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I am writing this review based on my experience with their delivery at my place of work. We have used them for several years, but recently they just stopped showing up for deliveries. And when they missed a delivery, they repeatedly failed to show up on dates scheduled to replace the missed stop. On 2/4 they were scheduled to deliver water to our workplace. They never showed up. We called and they were supposed to come back on 2/6. Never showed up. Called again and rescheduled. Never showed up. We cancelled the service and scheduled them to come get their stuff. They NEVER SHOWED UP. Rescheduled them three times to pick up their own stuff and they NEVER SHOWED UP. We were repeatedly promised contact by a route supervisor, or the driver, or someone to confirm when they were coming and it never happened. Don't use Crystal Springs for water delivery. We went with Magnetic Springs instead.

My water delivery service started with Crystal Springs in 2000 when I moved into my new house. The first 8 years of service went smoothly. Matt, our original driver was very nice and even called me if there were any delivery issues. Well, it has been all down hill from here! The next driver left me bottles that leaked which caused damage to my hardwood floor. A Crystal Springs Rep. apologized and the problem with leaky bottles was resolved. Another issue was apparently my long (400 foot) driveway. I explained to the driver that he didn't need to back into the driveway and that there was enough room to turn around in front of my garage. I was trying to make it easier for the driver. Backing into a 400 foot driveway with a curve is no easy task. But, for some reason every driver (and they do change frequently) refused to believe that they would have the room. (My gas delivery and other service utility drivers never have an issue to this day!) They continually drove off the driveway and left tire tracks on my lawn which I continued to repair every Spring with no complaints. I decided it would be more convenient for the drivers to leave 12 bottles in the Fall so, they wouldn't have to make any Winter deliveries. Well, they insisted on delivering bottles when I didn't need them and I was an "On Call Only" customer. Last Winter, a driver got stuck and had to call a tow truck to get him out. Mind you, I was an "On Call Only" customer! In the Spring, I again repaired the damages. Early this Winter, before the first snow our last driver completely drove off my driveway in four different places. Leaving four long tracks eight inches deep off the edge. What a mess to say the least!!! When I called the manager he apologized and sent out a supervisor to take photos of the damage and reported it to their insurance company. I hired a landscaper this time and Crystal Springs paid for the damages. Approximately a month ago, the doorbell rang and there was a delivery guy with eight bottles of water on a small cart he hand pulled from the end of our driveway. Again, I was still an "On Call" delivery! Last, but not least, two weeks ago a message was left on my answering machine from the area supervisor stating that "they" no longer wanted to deliver water to my house.

I had Crystal Springs delivery when I lived in New Jersey. It was awesome. So, when I relocated to Columbus, I was happy to learn I could continue being serviced. Things were ok in the beginning (2011). But over the past year (2014), service has deteriorated significantly. Bottles not delivered by the schedule, so empty bottles started stacking up in my garage. I canceled two deliveries, and yet they still delivered water. Customer service (very long wait times) told me they would pick them up the next day. Still there. I called them again. They will get them the next day. Guess what - still here. Calling again. I have 15 empty bottles and at this point, I cannot get anyone to pick them up, and they will not tell me where I can take them to drop them off and get my deposit back. This month, although I canceled my delivery, they delivered 11 days BEFORE the scheduled delivery. I have 13 full bottles to consume. This is turning into a nightmare. If I can ever get a person on the phone again, I am canceling my service totally. I am ready to drive to Atlanta just to get rid of these empty bottles!!!

The Collection Agency was super nice! They called to verify that they had received my note and then they followed up with a letter to confirm that there were no negative actions pending. Crystal Springs nothing..... A couple of months later, I have a message on my home phone from Crystal Springs: "Sorry, you were correct that we did not communicate with you and sent you to collections in error....." and that is it!!! Nothing since. I don't know about the rest of the members on Angie's List, but I am old fashioned when it comes to customer service and this scenario is appalling to me....
Description of Work: We had been a loyal customer of Crystal Springs for over 5 years, our driver was super and everything seemed to be going just fine. in September of 2014 I received a Notice of Collections and thought it was a scam so I called the California number and was told that Crystal Springs had sent us to Collections. I politely told the person that I had not seen Crystal Springs in quite some time and had not received any kind of communication written or otherwise. Still thinking this a scam, I called Crystal Springs and the customer service agent verified that they had sent us to collections for a ridiculous amount but could not tell me if they had ever sent any or attempted any communication with me THE CUSTOMER. So, I immediately paid the outstanding amount and wrote a letter to Crystal Springs and the Collections Agency.

My guess is they are ignoring our request. They did send out a claims adjuster but that was the last contact we have had. I can not get any answer on our claim (pro or con). I will continue using their service because the driver~Ruddy is a great guy. However as a caution to anyone with a cooler if you care about your floors do what we did. Place the cooler in some sort of a container to catch any possible leaks because they will not help out with any damage that is caused.
Description of Work: Our route driver is great and always is very helpful. The problem for us came when one of the water bottles leaked (they are all plastic now) and damaged the wood floors in our new home. We were told sometimes the bottles have microscopic holes that cause the leaks. We have been trying since June 17 to get some sort of resolution for our damaged wood floors talking to Lenny at the corporate office. I have given up trying to get any answers.

Crystal Springs was nothing but a nightmare. The cost p/month was on the high side, but I liked that we could do will call with delivery and pick and choose how many 5 gallon bottles when I wanted. From the very first delivery, we should have known from the confusion in when they were going to come, to no communication. The second delivery, he didn't come and showed up a week later. I got a call saying to put out the bottles, so I had to rush room and cancel stuff that was going on. By the 3rd delivery, our BRAND NEW cooler had broken. It was promptly replaced BY THE DRIVER (the company had said it would be another week) and I was told we would get a credit for the ENTIRE billing cycle. We were going to get a delivery today, so I logged on to our account to make sure it was set up. There was a lock placed on our account. Turns out they weren't going to deliver because we DIDN'T PAY!!!! I called them immediately and they said they would never credit an account fully and they had just refunded the cooler deposit for the month. I told them they had promised me a credit for the delivery and the cooler. They said they couldn't do that, even though that's what they had told me. This company lies, doesn't show up, and has no professionalism in them whatsoever. If you value your time, money, and are looking for a quality product, DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY!!

I submitted a review in July and I am updating it for a D to an F. Delivery issues have continued and as if it was possible, gotten worse. Two weeks ago they didn't show again for a delivery on a Wednesday, I called Thursday just to give them a chance to make it out and no show again. When I complained again the CSR didn't even bother to try to make excuses and said she'd put it for the route manager to address it. I'm sure that went nowhere and suspect my missed delivery is a direct result of this. Do not sign up with these people and save the headache, unless on time deliveries and service mean nothing to you.

They provide the worse service, I was told I would have a delivery today (Fri 8-8-14). now I am told I will not get it until Monday. This is not the first time this has happened. When I signed up, it took they were over a week late to deliver water. I had to call them everyday until I finally received any water. Then I had a four month battle as they were charging me for a cooler (I own my cooler), also was supposed to receive two packs of bottled water every month that I never have seen. I miss Culligan!!!!!

There provider frequently missed water delivery. I would say that in the 18 months of having service with them, I called approximately 6 times to complain to get water delivered. They are awful. I would not use them again.
