Thy removed about four small trees. They were professional. They had super crew, super equipment, brand new well maintained equipment. A ll the check marks of a good vendor, they complied with a reasonable good price. It's very rare that you're able to give a vendor straight A's.

They were half the cost of the nearest competitor. They did it while I was out of town. But the neighbor said it was a real show. They did a great job.

Contacted Boutte Tree and representative Nick visited and examined the problem. He was knowledgeable explaining what could be done without killing the trees and provided an estimate. Jessa at the office did a wonderful job scheduling and kept us updated a number of times. Work crew appeared at the appointed time and worked through the morning. Excellent work trimming the long line of pine trees and then cleaning up afterward.

I cannot say enough good things about Boutte Tree Inc. I had to remove 4 trees because their root systems were disturbed and I was afraid that they would eventually die and fall. I had gotten a quote from another tree company that had done work for me twice before but because of the cost they quoted , $8,700.00, I wanted additional quotes. They were going to use a crane because there is no way to get removal equipment into the back yard. I went to Angie's List and found what I felt were the 2 best companies I could based upon their ratings but more importantly their positive, detailed, recent reviews. The first company was going to bring in 2 crews and do the job in one day, cutting the trees up in the back yard and hauling the pieces out by hand ($5,000.00). Boutte Tree was going to do the same work but with one crew that would take 2 to 3 days ($6,460.00 with their Angie's List discount). I selected Boutte because of their AL reviews and because of a general sense I had regarding their professionalism. Their communication was fantastic. From the preparation of the quote and their procedure to accept the quote, to scheduling, to reminders and day of coordination, they made me sure of where we were every step of the way. The morning they were to begin I received a call informing me that their crane was available and asking if they could use it on my job, turning it into a 1 day affair and minimizing the impact on my yard. As it turned out the first company was going to hire the Boutte crane as they did not have one of their own, so Boutte was already familiar with my job. The crew arrived right on time at 9:30, with the crane arriving at 10:00. I was getting a little anxious when it was 12:00 Noon and they were just getting started (2 hours to set up the crane). I could not imagine how a crew of 5 could remove 4 good size trees in the time remaining that day, crane or no crane. I had no idea how they would use the crane. They hoisted the climber up into the top of the first tree. He then secured the straps to the tree and climbed down 15 to 20 feet where he cut the tree. The crane flew the top of the tree to the landing zone in the street where 2 workers dismantled it and fed the limbs into the mulcher. Once they were through the trunk was taken away by another worker on a bobcat. While the climber secured the next section to the crane, the guys on the ground cleaned the work area around the mulcher, making the landing zone ready for the next for the next section. And so it went, with the 5 workers working together hike a finely tuned machine. Tremendous team work. 1:20 And the first and largest pine was complete. 2:20 And the sweet gum is gone. Pizza delivery, a quick lunch break, then on to the smallest pine. The last pine was complete a little after 4:00. Packing up the crane went more quickly than setup. By 5:30 the crew had my yard, drive and the street clean and they were driving away, leaving only the logs which were stacked in the street. The next day the log truck arrived as scheduled, loaded up the logs and finished the job of cleaning the street. Going into this I was not happy at the prospect of spending $6,460.00 on an unanticipated expense. After my experience with Boutte Tree I feel like this was the best $6,460.00 I have ever spent in my life. Thank You Boutte Tree. You are truly AMAZING.

We recently had our trees trimmed by Boutte Tree and had a great experience. Nick, our arborist, arrived on schedule to inspect our trees. He walked me through his recommendations, and a few weeks later, Boutte was back to do the trimming. We left to run some errands after they arrived, and when we returned a few hours later, they had already completed the job. They took down a large number of troublesome limbs (some very high up) and left absolutely no trace behind. Throughout the process, the office staff was in touch with reminders and to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend Boutte Tree for their consistent professionalism, high-quality work, and the peace of mind they left us with!

Extremely well. The tree trunk was almost touching our garage and fence. Due to its location, removal by crane was not practical so Boutte used climbers and an elaborate rope system to drop large pieces of the trunk to the ground while avoiding damage to the garage, fence and nearby shrubs and trees. Boutyr so a highly skilled and professional operation. I was very pleased with their work.

Not Good. After I mentioned my property was in East Point, they said they do not accept new customers from that area at this time. Funny, guess they pick and choose where they want to do business. I have 24 properties in that area. Their loss. I do not recommend them.

They were responsive and completed the services when expected.

All went fairly smoothly,  and the cleanup was excellent, only one hiccup:
a limb from the tree they were cutting caused a slight tear on the roof, but I was pleased that the roofer they contracted with, repaired  it promptly and adequately

Boutte is great!  They removed a huge, dying oak tree that was only 10-15 feet from our house and barely left a blade of grass
out of place.  :)
They brought in a
huge mobile crane to do the job right. 
It was a bit of a shock to walk out and see it parked inches from our
dining room window, but not to worry-these folks know what they are doing.  They were extremely careful around our
existing landscaping, put down sheets of plywood on our lawn so as not to leave
tire ruts, leaving everything intact.
These people are very professional and take their jobs seriously.  These days, some people seem to think jobs
that involve "heavy lifting" like being a tree climber/cutter are
easy jobs.  Well, they are not.  It takes a lot of skill and smarts to climb a
tree with a chain saw, rope the limbs and yourself for safety, attach the limb
with a huge harness to a crane, then saw the limb off without killing yourself.
It also takes skill to hoist 10-foot sections of a 6-foot diameter oak tree with that crane,
then move them over a client's house to the street with such skill that the
client (me) had no fear that those hunks of wood might come crashing through
the roof!   Well, maybe a BIT of fear for the first section.  But once I saw that
these people were knowledgeable and meticulous, I relaxed.
Boutte even chopped up much of the tree into primo hardwood mulch for us and toted it to a
neat, huge pile at the rear of our property.  
My husband, who has worked in horticulture his entire life, says you
can't even buy oak mulch, so that is a huge bonus.
Finally, let me make a general comment.  Not every company is like Boutte.  Do all of us a favor:  DO NOT hire one of the numerous fly-by-night, uninsured, unlicensed, unqualified companies in the tree care/removal
industry.  First, you might not save  money.  We accidentally got a bid from an
uninsured company and it was twice as high as Boutte's bid.
Worse,unqualified tree company workers can get injured or God forbid, get killed on
the job, damage or destroy your house, etc. etc.  And if the company does not have liability
insurance/medical insurance, you are in big trouble.  Do your research first and hire a solid
company like Boutte, that has Certified Arborists on Staff, trained and INSURED
tree climbers, enough capital to bring in the correct heavy equipment to do the
job right, and has all appropriate licensures, ability to pull tree cutting
permits, and in short, plays by the rules. 
Finally, I suggest using a company whose workers appear (like Boutte's) to enjoy their jobs.  This is an indication that the company cares enough to treat them with respect and pay them what they are worth.  If only every company was like that, our
world would be a lot better off.
