All of their people at the company were very responsive. They return calls quickly and get back to you quickly when they need to check something. I sent my acceptance of their offer in at 4:00 pm and they were at my house by 9:30 am the next morning. The tree was down, chipped and removed by 1:00 pm the same day. Tierson's crew knows what they are doing.

They were out right away for the estimate. They promised me that they will send the contract on Monday night and they have neither sent me a contract nor returned my 5 different phone calls. There is a lot storm damage here and I think they have been really busy, but I am not going to excuse them for not returning phone calls. I am not going to use them in the future.

"First of all we are very sorry that this Member has had a bad experience with us. The Member called and we came out right away and gave a verbal quote and we said we would send the written quote soon. At the time of the visit we thought the work could be done that week. But the storm that precipitated The Member's call was bigger than expected and we realized that the work would not be able to be done that week, since it was not a true emergency. We called to inform him that we would not, after all, be able to perform his work as quickly as we thought and that if he still wanted it done quickly he should try another tree service. This was 2 days after we visited him. We are sorry for the inconvenience this caused The Member, it is never our intention to leave someone hanging. In this case it seems that either the message never got through or the customer received the message but posted the bad review after waiting only 2 days. We are sorry for our failure to communicate more effectively and quickly. Please give us another chance to serve you! Because of your experience, we would like to offer a 5% discount to you if you decide to give us another try."

Fairly quick after submitting for an estimate request, I got a call to set up a meeting. Not only did they send someone to provide a quote, but they sent someone who was an arborist. At least they have "sales" people who don't just "sell" their product, they "know" their product. I found the quote to be reasonable and scheduled the job. They actually got to me a day ahead of schedule given that an opening became available. A team of three guys cane out with a big truck and a large chipper. The team leader went over the work order with me to be sure he understood the request and then he went over it with his team. The biggest part of the job was a magnolia tree that GA Power poorly pruned and left completely mis-shapen. I completely understood that it may not have been possible to give the tree much of a good look, but the guys did a wonderful job on it. I was totally pleased. All around these guys did a great job and left my yard looking cleaner than what it was when they arrived. I would absolutely use them again. I used other company's before and have not been nearly as pleased.

The Boutte’s epitomize excellence in customer service – in each interaction, every time. I thoroughly checked out the company prior to signing a contract. I had my insurance agent review their insurance certificate – and even my agent told me that Boutte’ Tree had a great reputation. It’s easy to see why. All work was done on time and on budget. Boutte’ followed up with us every step of the way to ensure that we were satisfied with the progress. We had a massive water oak tree – about 90ft. tall, in a tight space and abutting power lines. This required skillful use of a crane and folks who really knew what they were doing. In addition, we had work done on about 10 massive Leland Cypress trees. Once the project had been reviewed and an estimate had been maticulously prepared an appointment was set for a couple weeks later. On the scheduled day the crew leader Donys arrived on time and ready to get started. After an hour and a half the project was finished. All debris had been removed and cleaned up. Donys was very involved to make sure that the trees were shaped and pruned to my satisfaction. We would recommend Boutte Tree services to everyone. Big project or small one, they are happy to fullfill your tree needs.

Tierson came to give us our initial estimate. He was very professional and explained everything, including what he recommended doing and why and how it benefits the tree. I felt very comfortable hiring them. We live in Midtown and have a number of very large old trees in and around our property. He was careful to inspect the trees we pointed out in addition to several others that we hadn't really paid much attention to. They were very responsive and helpful when scheduling the work and showed up on time on the day the work was completed. Everyone was very friendly and very professional. They were at our house for most of the day and took great care with our trees and our house. Other than the fact that our trees looked great, you couldn't tell they had been there. They also follow up periodically which is reassuring. We will continue to use them to care for our trees.

Donys and his crew arrived on time. I met them here and we went over the work plan. They began the work, and did a wonderful job, including cutting the apple wood up into 15-inch lengths. At my request, they added one additional tree at a minimal charge, and also arranged to have someone come out a day or two later to grind the apple tree stump that remained. They cleaned up all debris and took it away. I will definitely use Boutte Tree Service again, and will ask for the same crew.

In November, a limb from one of my trees damaged my neighbor's roof. The insurance company wanted to virtually clear-cut my property as risk management, and threatened to discontinue my homeowners policy if I didn't comply. Boutee managed to develop a proposal that minimized the potential for damage and saved all my trees. The work was done reasonably, professionally, and to the satisfaction of all parties. My gorgeous trees are healthy thanks to Boutee's conscientious efforts.

From the very start it was a great experience. I called Jessa to set up an appointment with Tierson for an estimate on cutting two trees down. He was punctual, and from the very beginning, I could tell he was more than just a tree cutting guy. He examined the trees I was looking at cutting, and discussed different options rather than cutting them down, and how they would need to be removed. My house sits lower than the street, and the entire canopy of the tree was over the house, surrounded by power lines on two sides, and other trees; and they would need to use a crane to safely remove the largest tree, an oak over 100 years old. We discussed the options, and they emailed me the options on the estimate for me to decide. I decided to have the trees cut, and they were accommodating in scheduling the work around my schedule. They showed up that morning on time, and in short order had the one tree down. The remainder of the day, and half day of the next, they tackled the oak. Their entire crew performs so well, watching them communicate in gestures to each other, and the precision of the crane operators in maneuvering large limbs, and large sections of trunk ( some up to 8000 pounds) over and around my house, other trees, and the power lines, and to the street, was both scary and fascinating to watch. I felt this was a difficult tree to handle, and they made it seem like it was nothing but the ordinary. After the tree was down they took the time to clean leaves and debris off the entire roof, and from around the house. If not for the now missing tree, and a few dents in the lawn, I would not be able to say they were there. I would without question recommend them to anyone, Jessa, Tierson and their entire crew are the best!

Tierson was punctual to give the estimate and spent the time to completely understand what exactly we wanted from the pruning. He was completely open with us about his minimal experience with peach trees and that it was the wrong time of the year to trim the tree, but we had issues with spread and branches breaking that needed immediate control. We were impressed with his knowledge about trees and pruning and his willingness to really understand our needs. He had to reschedule the day of pruning, but was very communicative. The tree looks fantastic and fits so much better into our backyard now.

From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience working with Tierson and his team. I got about 3 estimates for this job. The estimate from Boutte was about the same as one other estimate I received but I chose Boutte because they seemed much more knowledgeable and more concerned about the future health of the trees. Scheduling the work was easy and quick. They showed up promptly on the scheduled day and performed the job as promised. A couple days after they were finished I noticed a limb hanging in one of my trees and Boutte returned and cleaned up the limb. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the job and would definitely use their service again.

They arived on time and went to work immediately. Plastic pads were placed in the from yard to minimixe damage to the lawn. WAork was done without delay. Clean up was excellent. All debris was removed and as much sawduat as possible. Recommend Boutte Tree Inc highly. KH

Tierson and his crew were subcontracted by the contractor we hired. A great job. Showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Everything went as planned. After they were done, you could hardly tell that some heavy equipment (crane included) had been operating in the area. Because our street is very narrow, they inadvertently loosened our front neighbor's mailbox and damaged a small tree she had just planted. We called them and they replaced the tree and repaired the mailbox that same weekend. Overall, they did a fantastic job.

The workers were courteous, fairly efficient, 2 of 3 did not speak much English, but that was not a problem since they understood what the job was; they wore protective gear (as I had hoped they would) and cleaned up the driveway and yard when they were finished.

Pierson Boutte and Robert Brettschneider are both very professional and all around nice guys. I thought the work that was performed was excellent and the quote came in significantly lower than the other quotes we received. Robert showed a sensitivity to the environment that we were very appreciative of, yet explained the technical nature of his job in plain English. My one complaint (and I add as a caveat that this is greatly outweighed by all of the positives) was that it was difficult to schedule them. They are in great demand, and we had to reschedule twice after we set our appointment due to emergency problems that arose with other clients. Having said that, their excellent work and pleasant personalities gives me absolutely no pause in recommending them as well as using their services in the future any time I need this type of work done.

Overall, went well. Tierson is very knowledgable and came to us highly recommended from Angie's List. Boutte Tree does outsource any fertilization of trees, etc. to a third party and that took longer than I expected to complete. Had to follow up a couple times to make sure that we were still on their radar, and it did get done. Overall, good job, i would use again.

It went extremely well. Boutte Tree removed the tree by cutting it apart and lifting the pieces over our house with a crane. It was spectacular, and the neighbors and we found it very entertaining! There was no damage to my house and very little damage to my yard where the crane was placed. My satellite dish was dented slightly, and Boutte Tree compensated me for replacing it. Overall we were very satisfied with the work, the price, and the level of professionalism they showed.

We have a lot of trees, and we love them, so we have Tierson and his crew go over our trees at least twice a year to remove dead or dangerous trees and branches. Tierson, his wife, and his crew are always a pleasure to deal with; they're straightforward, reasonably priced, and do nice work. I've already identified a couple items for our fall cleaning.

Good work for good price. I am OCD when in comes to doing the research before spending my money on any service. Thus, I did my homework (Kudzu.com, Angieslist.com, neighbors) before having 4 different companies come out and give me quotes for removal of a single 60 year oak (our builder had not taken adequate precautions to protect the tree during the construction of our house). The quotes were all over the place...some nearly twice as expensive as others. I chose Boutte because of the overwhelming positive comments on two different websites, they charged a reasonable price, and they emphasized removing the tree safely. They foresaw my concerns regarding the risk that any heavy equipment on the driveway could result in cracks in the concrete; their plan was to lift the tree up and over the driveway using a crane parked in the street. Tierson and his men showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They cut and left me several short stumps of the main trunk to use as "stools" for my kids in the backyard. I assumed that they wanted payment up front prior to beginning work...I was wrong. They asked that I send them a check sometime in the following 2 to 3 weeks. My only caveat is that if you ask that they leave some of the resulting shredded wood as mulch that you consider how much you need beforehand. I asked Tierson to leave some mulch. The pile that resulted after they emptied (a partially full) truck in my driveway took me two months to clear. Certainly not their fault; I just underestimated how much I could use or how long it would take to move it. In conclusion, highly recommended.

When I contacted them, they called me back right away. I told her I needed an estimate. I originally stated that Friday would be the best day for the estimate. I had to call her back and reschedule for Thursday. They called and said Friday would be better because he couldn't be there on Thursday. They called on Friday at 2:30pm (Which was what time wwe rescheduled for)and said that traffic was too bad and wanted to reschedule for Saturday. I decided against using this company. After, I received a very nice apology email and offer of free service. Even though I had the work done, I thought this was excellent follow up customer service.

Very well... would use them again without hesitation. Quotes - excellent speed and price. I received quotes from 4 vendors (3 of them listed on AngiesList). Boutte was the best price. The day before i was going to go with another vendor, I saw Boutte cutting my neighbors trees and ask them to come and give me a quote. They provided a verbal quote on the spot, then followed-up via email that evening. Preparation - excellent. They gave me all insurance information (they carry workers comp and liablility - both essential for your protection). Scheduling was a bit difficult because they were pretty busy and was happening over the christmas holiday. We settled on early Jan. The work - they came early and were very thorough. Team of about 5 guys. Since I was home while they were doing the work, i was able to watch and make small changes along the way (such as asking for additional branches to be pruned). Blew the driveway and cleaned up when they were done - i was pleased. I would use them again. Suggestions: be as clear as possible during your estimate - mark trees/branches with paint, tell specifically which branches to trim and/or be there when work is performed. (At the end of the job, I asked them to get a few more very small branches that were visually unattractive, so they got a hand trimmer and took care of it... wouldn't have happened if i wasn't there.) My other quotes ranged from $150 more to $1500 more for similar service. The owner Tierson Boutte is a sharp guy, Georgia Tech engineering major, and did much of the work himself along with the team.
