We were introduced to Ascot Diamonds thru some friends
that have wonderful pieces of jewelry for both the husband and wife.
Each time we commented on their jewelry, they always said that either it was purchased from or the piece had been custom made
at Ascot Diamonds.
My boyfriend, at the time, without my knowledge had obtained my engagement ring and to my surprise popped the question to me.
With a ring like that, my answer was very quickly a 'YES!?
We set our wedding date for 9 months out.
But as we all know life comes at you fast... and it did for us too.
We had started talking with Ascot Diamonds about some wedding band ideas.
Just three months into our engagement, my Mom's cancer came back with a vengeance.
After 3 surgeries within a week, she was very weak and struggling to eat.
My mom asked that since my fiancée and I were obviously in love, my family loved my fiancée, and he loved them - please move your
wedding up...
Why wait she asked, "You two should get married this weekend, right?"
WHAT?!?!?!?!
We had less than 40 hours and we had not designed or even picked up my wedding band.
We needed to find a minister, a wedding location, get my dress altered, get a marriage license and come up with my wedding band.
We immediately called Ascot Diamond and they immediately went to work on ideas for us.
They took a ring that we had, we purchased additional materials and Ascot built us the most spectacular wedding band we could ever imagined.
It compliments my engagement ring perfectly!
We had a very private and gorgeous garden wedding
in our neighbor?s yard... everything was just perfect.
I will always be thankful for Ascot Diamonds.
They were with us every step of the way and we
absolutely love my wedding ring set.
Our wedding was not huge, it was not elaborate, it was simply perfect and Ascot Diamonds helped us to have one of my most
cherished memories by creating my wedding band and delivering it quickly and with the utmost quality.
Much to our sad dismay, my mom lost her battle with cancer within 5 weeks of our wedding.
But we do not have any regrets, Mom had a ball at our wedding and she kept telling me how much she loved my wedding ring set.
She even tried it on to make sure it was 'all that!'
I have to smile when I think about how Ascot Diamond, just like our friends, stuck right by us and made our dreams come true.
We cherish those memories and have the memories and pictures to prove that Fairytales do come true...
