Remember, it's not our sealant that is causing the floor to shine not as much - it's the cleaning solution and process that your team is doing. They need to clean with a pH Neutral cleaner and after the cleaning it needs to be dried to maximize the shine. "I've waited for a little while to write my reply because I've been trying to contact the customer to try to fix the issues in their shower. Some showers are terribly difficult to renew, especially when they are 20+ years old but look 40+ years old. This shower is in very, very poor condition and we initially recommended that they replace the shower but they insisted on our renewal process. I should have gone with my instinct and turned the job away but we have tried very hard to make this shower look good again. In fact, it is significantly better than when we initially reviewed it and it has been signed off several times so far because it has looked very good when we leave. Our initial service had a few small issues after they allowed it to cure and we came back to fix the issues two times and they signed off both times when completed. I personally went back to review and he was concerned about "deep" grout lines which are actually caused by uneven floor tiles. When the tiles are uneven, some grout lines will be deeper - there's no getting around this - and the floor is extremely uneven. The entire project was a challenge because the husband was not involved in the initial review and doesn't really understand how everything was explained in the initial meeting. We do our best to set expectations but I will say again it is a major challenge to make a 20+ year old shower (that looks 40 years old) look like new again. It was explained that we will do the best we can to make it look as good as we can but from uneven tile, to layers upon layers of old, moldy caulking, to a shower enclosure that needs to be replaced, to an unhealthy level of mold an mildew we tried very hard to make it look as good as we could. All this said, we are still willing to go back and touch up or rework areas that don't look good. We are not pleased with this review from them, however, our first objective is to make them happy and pleased with the service and this is the first customer that will not allow us to try our best to make things in their shower better. The [Member Name Removed]'s can call us anytime and we will go back out to work on their shower to get it right.
