HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND FIXED THE PROBLEM

This company is fraudulent. It says on their profile that they offer FREE estimates. Daniel was THREE hours late for the initial appointment, didn t bother calling, AND charged us nearly $200 for being there 5 minutes (free estimates?!). He barely even looked at my hot tub. After paying him nearly $200, we decided that we might as well hire him (this is a very deceptive practice that ensures you use him) and paid him for the parts. We waited for the parts to come in and scheduled a day and time for him to come out. He didn t show up. He didn t call. WE had to call HIM. He finally answered and told us he d be out the next day. He didn t show up. He didn t call. WE had to call HIM. This went on for SEVERAL more days before we decided not to use his services. I think he is a con artist. He purposely asks for large sums of money upfront and only takes checks. That way, you can t dispute the charge. After repeatedly dealing with his lies, unprofessionalism, and horrid customer service, we had finally had enough. Do not use this company and if you do, insist on paying through PayPal. Do NOT give this man a check. Also, be sure to get it in writing that estimates are FREE. Text him to confirm so that you have it in writing, don t take him at his word. Document EVERYTHING because again, you are dealing with a dishonest individual. Buyer BEWARE.

Priced reasonable. He definitely knows what he is talking about and did a great job fixing my jacuzzi tub. Only complaint is that he didn’t call me to schedule the follow up, I had to reach out to him a couple times with no call before when he was running pretty late. I would use him again.

If there was a way to score ZERO, this would be my rating. On 9/27/2019, Daniel Wolfgang came to my home when promised. He didnt even open the side of the spa. He asked ME what was wrong with the spa. He told me I needed two temperature sensors for the heating element without even turning the spa on. He said that 2 of the 3 pumps were not running even though water circulates and furnishes adequate water to the jets. He charged me $145 for the visit and asked me to pay $70 per sensor to ;order; them and told me he would return within 5 business days. As of 10/17/2019, I have contacted him by phone no fewer than 10 times. Each time he promised he would return either the next day or after the weekend. As of 10/17/2019 he has NEVER returned. He is a smooth talker but by strict definition he is a CON artist! I am out $285. Too bad I paid with a check! No wonder he doesnt take credit cards. He would get too many refunds to stay in business. Home Advisor needs to re-certify him. Hed never make the cut.

He was so experienced! He knew what he was going to do by simply seeing the tub. He knows his stuff!

He was on time he was very cost-efficient he helped us save a lot of money he was great or attitude was wonderful energy was great work ethics was perfect he explained everything really well and everything went great

Some people have written of their poor experience with Daniel Wolfgang, but I had an excellent experience with Daniel. He knows his craft, showed up when promised, and completed the work. That s what I paid for, and I am pleased with the outcome.

Super knowledgeable. Very friendly. Great service. Came out for a small fee, fixed the problem, and I did not even need any parts. This is customer service at the highest degree!

Problem quickly diagnosed and explained. New pump installed immediately and is working great.

I hired this pro on July 24th and paid him in advance to repair my spa since this was a simple repair (blown fuse and needed a hose connector). Since that time, He has failed to show up for 4 appts. to complete my repairs. I will not hire him again.

I used Home Advisor and Daniel called me in less than a minute. It was 3pm Monday afternoon and my hot tub was fixed by 12 noon Tuesday. Daniel explained everything that needed to be fixed and why. He is very knowledgeable. He had everything that was needed with him. New motor and new heating coil done in less than an hour.

Daniel was knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to find our leak quickly and without much trouble. Unfortunately, our repair requires parts that aren't readily available so we haven't been able to complete the job as quickly as we'd hoped. That said, with what Daniel had at his disposal he was a pleasure to deal with and during the diagnosis phase. Hopefully we have similar luck as we move into the repair phase. This guy really knows his stuff.

I hope that the slow response I have received from the technician is a result of his business. We ordered parts two weeks ago and I have not heard from him about the arrival or not of these parts. His explanation of the problems of my hot tub was very good but the expected follow up is less than what I would prefer.

It was not a good experience. I feel like for the time it has taken me, my hot tub is still torn up and taken apart. He called me back twice after I let him know i was going to register a complaint. He is just not truthful.

Daniel was very knowledgeable and professional. He was patient and offered several options to meet are needs. He even responded on a Sunday.

Like most consumers, I read reviews before I hire. I must admit, some of the reviews of My Spa Works are scathing to say the least! I decided to take a chance knowing you can t please everyone and make my own determination. I am So Very Happy I did. I found Daniel (yes just one person) to be extraordinarily competent. He removed the side panel of my spa and knew immediately why the breaker kept tripping! I needed a new pump which had to be ordered. Yes I paid in advance and see nothing wrong with doing so. I got a receipt and felt Daniel had the integrity to deliver on his word. Judgement call yes, but I choose to believe most people are of good character. Will Amazon deliver without paying first? Once I met Daniel I asked him why the negative reviews and without prompting, he explained each to my full satisfaction. I urge the reader to keep in mind that there are two sides to every story. I did have to wait a few weeks but I expected this to be the case. Once the parts arrived I then waited a few extra days for Daniel to find a day for the install. Once again I remind the reader that this is one person who is very busy. Great demand causes this. Try and find someone to service a spa. They are few and far between. My reasoning is he must be good to be in such demand. I found him to be forthright, honest, extremely competent and a very friendly and gregarious person. I hope moving forward that customers will remember that a negative review should be about improving the overall service from the provider.The intent should not be to take away his lively hood! I will not hesitate to call My Spa Works in the future. I have an old spa and parts do wear out. When that happens, I will call Daniel for the repair.
