Horrible. The worst $8,000 I ever spent in my life. There isn't enough room available here to get into all the details but in a nutshell the owner lied to us, insulted us over the phone and then told my wife she was feeling privileged because she married an American. This is a Brazilian company and she is Brazilian too. I have no idea why they named this company Americut being anti-American as it is. I have no idea why anyone rates them 5 stars but now I see other people review saying Flavio promises them a discount if they write a good review for him. Other people who write bad reviews online he responds by calling them liars. So unprofessional and poor work ethic.

"Mr. Kevin, your review is more personal than professional. You have a lot of problems with your other contractors. You and your wife are hurrying to finish the job. Very Bad Hills and it has been raining for two days, you make us work on rainy days ( I personally told you it would be best to wait, but you didn't hear me). You are very disrespectful to me and my employee, because, where we come from, if you don`t like Brazilian people, why marry one? Mr. Kevin, you never hired my company through HomeAdvisor (it wasa referral from a Brazilian friend of your wifes). I`m Sorry Mr. Kevin, to not compromise your expectations but, I think the job is not a problem but where we come from..."

To took three days to take out one tree and trim another. They had some kind of an equipment issue every day. They did a great job on the removal and the price was good.

The Americut team was responsive and did a very good job removing a large tree from our front yard. The tree was removed with no damage to our shrubs or neighbor's property. They cleaned up very effectively and completely. Americut was very reasonably priced and I highly recommend this company.

First off, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We got a quote from Flavio initially and ended up going with another company (who matched Flavio's quote). We will not make that mistake again. We went with another tree removal company and ended up having to hire Flavio and his team at Americut to FIX the inaccurate assessment the other company gave us. We called Flavio (on his cell so had no problem getting a hold of him) on Friday afternoon and he was out the next day on a SATURDAY and even though it was VERY last minute, he came out personally and gave us a very fair quote and had his guys there minutes later and removed the tree branches that had fallen on 2 of our neighbor's yards and the rest of the very large tree and they were professional and did an excellent job. They cleaned up after the tree removal (even raking up leaves and gumdrops that had fallen). I will use them going forward for any of our tree servicing needs. 100% professional, trustworthy and excellent to work with!!!
